Working with FondlyFramed was such a pleasure. They were extremely communicative throughout the whole process, took all of my ideas into account (which was no small feat because I basically wrote them a novel), and expressed interest not only in my character, but her story as a whole. They understand that visual storytelling takes intentional reflection--they're not a "draw a pair of boots" kind of artist, but a "where have those boots been, how many miles have they seen, and how many more climes will they cross?" kind of artist. You just can't teach that kind of care, detail-orientation, and curiosity. I can't wait to work with them again on my next OC!

I’ve been to many artist who claim they can bring your D&D characters to life and this artist is the only one who has exceeded my expectations by a mile. Very easy to work with and have excellent updates through the process! 10/10 will recommend.

This was my first full commission for an art for my character and fondly framed did such an excellent job. They worked with me to refine exactly what the character needed to look like got major items and the story of the character and captured them sooooo perfectly. The process was so smooth and they made it super easy. 10/10 will use again when I finish the campaign to see how the character changed, woooooooo

I have never formally commissioned anyone for art, but I love my character so much I finally did and I’m so glad the person I chose was Jan. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Jan truly listens to you when you describe your character and takes all of your details to heart to ensure what you see in your head is exactly what is delivered. I already want to commission again because I can’t get enough of all the detail, craftsmanship and professionalism put into my portraits. Highly, highly recommend!

Jan is great. I've worked with her multiple times and have been very satisfied!! She's done character art for me and also a father's day zelda portrait, which came out great. Can't wait to give it to my husband in June!

My character, Mr. D, has lived rent-free in my head for many years, but Jan and the FondlyFrame website have given him new life. Jan was very patient with me and my requests, and very insistent that I not pretend something about it bothered me. They listened carefully to my wishes, and because of their style of drawing, brought out elements of my character even I didn’t realize were there. I am both grateful and honored to have had such a talented and understanding artist bring my creation to life, and I intend to order again in the future.

Easy to work with, set up and stuck with a timeline, 2 versions and multiple renditions, asked plenty of questions to make sure the vision was realized. Recommended.
