Be warned this guy is learning on the job and has no knowledge to be taking money for repairs.
My phone stopped charging, I took it to ‘Repair and Go’ he gave me I back with the backing getting looser and looser with the melting cheese type of glue on the backing, so when I went back to the shop he simply said I’ll put more glue on it, and then it stopped charging again after just 1 week!!!
I gave it to the EE shop for repair the report said he’d punctured the battery with a screwdriver when he was prizing the battery out and the sales staff said I’m lucky I wouldn’t charge because if I did charge with a punctured battery it could have started a fire.
So to clean and repair the glue, change the battery and repair the charging issue was £35. / However Repair and Go failure to repair the charging issue, puncturing the battery, all this damage and not forgetting the glue mess and charged me a staggering £50 for the pleasure of the destruction!!!
And watch out because when I was trying to get my money back unsuccessfully I found out he was hiding in his other shop PHONES HUB ( next to home bargains in Preston town centre). Horrendous service Nothing but damage to phone done.
Remember his 2 shops to be avoided at all costs in Preston is Repair and Go and Phones Hub.

Bought an electric scooter for grandson for xmas £350 came up with fault so xmas day boxing day ruined exchanged it eventually now snapped in half cheap metal framework almost killed grandson shop not interested said it's his fault he damaged it see you in court

Awful experience. Who I spoke to and was told was the owner (even though the business is not In his name) said he had fixed the issue concerning my laptop and rang me to tell me that he could fix the problem and the price it would be. Once I arrived he said it would be £15 more than what he said on the phone and I was happy enough that my laptop was fixed. However this was not the case as when I checked it the problem was still there. So when contacting the business I was told to bring it in and they would fix it again but I explained I had lost faith in them and would take a refund as I had already spend £75 to fix something that they had not fixed and I’m a student so I don’t have money to waste, the employee agreed to this on the phone. When going in the employee then told me that he could only refund the charger I bought and not the money for the repair. I obviously was not happy with this and said I would wait for the owner to come in. Once he arrived he then tried to convince me that I had said I needed the water damage fixing when it was in fact the charging port that was the issue and HE told me it was because of water damage. He then continued to tell me he had fixed it even though he was referring to the charging port that was not broken to start with (as my laptop has two). A part worth mentioning is that he said ‘how am I supposed to know which one works and which one doesn’t’ which I thought was strange coming from someone who Works in a technology repair shop as I’m not great with technology and even I can come to the conclusion that if it’s charging it’s working and if it’s not then that must be the broken one. When we knew we would get no where with this man we said we will take the refund for the charger and he said he will not do this even though he and his employee had said they would and it was within 21 day so I have a right to a refund by law. The rudeness that followed from this man was disgusting and we are in a process with trading standards. I also think that it is worth mentioning that before the owner arrived we spoke to the employee who fixed my laptop and said what did ur boss tell u to fix and he said ‘I was told to fix water damage this is the first I am hearing about the charger port not working’. Another questionable factor is that when he started to get more and more snappy we started to voice record this (in view so he knew we were recording what was said) and he tried to say that we were not allowed to record what he was saying which could not be further from the truth. Now I’m my eyes from his behaviour throughout this man is a scammer but if he is not then he clearly has absolutely no clue what he is doing with technology and hopefully trading standards will show the business for what it is. I have warned my friends and warned people in my accommodation/staff to never use this place and never recommend it to anyone. Honestly save yourself the time, money and effort and do not go here.

Fantastic service by Fones hub Preston. My Samsung Galaxy S20 was beyond repairs I think and they sorted it with one day notice. All my data was wiped which I needed the most. Thank you and Good job

If I could rate this zero stars I would. A horrible person to deal with. Broke my item and then returned to me and claimed that it wasn’t working when they received it. DO NOT USE THIS STORE.

Absolutely brilliant service, Very well mannered staff had broken screen on my iphone XS took it in and within 1 hour the issues was resolved and the phone is back up and running. Used Fones Hub twice now and both times they were brilliant. will always use for phone issues moving forward. Very Efficient and competitive

Was looking for a basic smartphone for 4G. Dismayed by the prices and the emphasis on camera ability - I wanted a good PHONE. Called in the shop on spec and was very pleased with their advice and the way it was delivered. Found a phone I liked at a good price and purchased. I recommend Fones hub Preston.
