While I initially thought how great food village was, their app does not work and even if you have the auto top up feature switched off kids can make an instant purchase in school and the card will be charged. In my daughters school a number of kids ran up 100s in unauthorised charges. I contacted Food Village about this and they were not interested. I would recommend avoiding using Food Village

Put €20 into daughters account nothing happened put another €20 in took €40 out of my bank account and only got €20 credit Awful!!
Old canteen would be packed everyday now its a ghostown
And having everything online is an inconvenience for people should be allowed to use cash

Food not delivered. School is in remote area and there is no shop around or even vending machines. So if any error with your kid tag they are left for 7-8 h without food. Can't understand how it shows on my app that I have been charged but they do not have that info on their side!

The app is horrible, pricey food is not delivered, but the money is deducted. If you are in the school board please keep your school and the kids away from this crap. It is a scam.

The images of food being provided have been airbrushed or an artists impression as it does not resemble what was served. My sons school must not have researched this site before taking on this service. Reminds me of the food irish rail served in the 80’s..

Great service from staff, manager was always smiling staff are helpfull.

It s horrible! The food is disgusting and bland!! I do not recommend it! I order some noodles and they were just tasteless! The worst in all this is the staff who is clearly not happy to be here. Plus the food is kinda expensive!And I forgot to mention but I even had a broken plate for my pizza!

My daughters secondary school started using Food village as their canteen solution this year. So far the quality of food has been appalling.

Shocked that the school has agreed to utilise such a poor service, clearly the powers that be, weren’t served the reheated version of the foods the students have to eat. If it doesn’t improve I’ll be encouraging the school to find a better solution.

i bought this food in my school it was the soggiest most unseasoned slop i’ve ever eaten ordering 35 hours in advance is not worth AVOID

Items are well and professionally packed/presented ..food taste amazing ..nothing was wasted.. we got burritos.. cheese was missing and maybe need more spice nonetheless it was Still yummy..Chicken wings was stickyly Smokey delicious .. family portioNS was v generous..delivery and overall service 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.. thank you will order again

Excellent quality food with beautiful flavours. Particularly liked the Butternut Squash Coconut and Chilli soup. Loved the flavours in the Red Thai Curry but unfortunately it was a little hot for my taste. Delivered bang on the time frame advised and very friendly driver. Will order again.
