Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 99 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently experienced unexpected monthly subscription charges and automatic payments deducted from their accounts. Consumers also bitterly complained about poor product quality, noting that the golf balls felt hard like stones and significantly underperformed compared to advertising claims. Though some customers appreciated the golf balls or found them decent for casual play, many buyers strongly warned others about the hidden recurring fees. People strongly urged future buyers to check their payment cards and bank statements closely due to these recurring subscription charges being applied automatically after a purchase.

We're a team of everyday golfers, course pros, and engineers who got tired of paying $50+ a dozen for the same premium golf ball. So we built our own. A ball re-engineered from the core for longer drives, straighter shots, and durability that holds up round after round. We sell it directly to golfers, which is how we keep a tour-level ball at under half the usual price. Every order is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you're not playing better, send it back, no questions asked.

The mystery of the missing balls…

Ordered some of these golf balls for my dad. He was happy with them but not excited. Anyway, 12 days later, another charge came out of his account. Didn't realise it was a subscription service, my bad, got that cancelled but the order had been dispatched. One month later and a number of emails with link which are nit working, this repeats order hasn't arrived and the seller has now gone quiet! I have choice words for companies like this.

Avoid. Do not bother. You will be unimpressed.

Update: After another email with someone who chose to actually read the email, issue resolved. Now a happy bunny but you really have to land with the right person (again, many thanks to that unknown person, you know who you are).

Deceitful marketing and purchasing process

The balls took a long time to get to me and the tracking site still showed "in transit" when I got them. The same day that I received them, I received another charge. When I inquired about this, they said that it was for a membership, which I knew nothing about and never signed up or agreed to. I just wanted to try out the balls based on their marketing. Now I need to work this out with my bank to cancel this AND this bogus charge. DO NOT PURCHASE!

Scam, take a montly fee for 'coaching' without permission

Ordered some balls that arrived OK. Happy with them, but they signed me up for their coaching club without my knowledge or permission and then started to charge me a monthly fee. Not happy !!

I ordered a dozen balls to which I was…

I ordered a dozen balls to which I was surprised at how good they are
However I keep getting repeated payments of £28.95 a month for apparently premium membership ?
I contacted forgeway golf asking to cancel all my details and further payments.
Within 15mins I got an email saying they have done this so happy with response
Now a trip to my bank and also cancel any further payments.

Scammers.

Scammers.

When you buy golf balls they sign you up for a monthly subscription which you didn't ask for of £14.95 a month. I KNOW I did not select this option.

Now having to open a Paypal dispute to recover my money.
