I am a few weeks into using Formidable Forms and so far it is excellent. The interface is easy to use. I've only had to contact support once but they were quick to answer with a solution. Very pleased.

I've been using for Formidable forms for over five years now and it's been a godsend. I use it in all of my projects for my clients, and it's truly amazing. Highly recommended.

The forms are easy to use and implement. I had an issue with integrating reCaptcha via google and formidable tech support was there to help out with this issue. You don't know how good a company is until there is a problem. Formidable demonstrated their quality through and through and I highly recommend them to anyone considering their plugin.

Got behind on my project because of not specific enough documentation and support being extremely slow or not responding(one response was after a week than none). Maybe its fine for a hobby project, but if you work for an company or generally professional work, than stay far away!

Forms are simply unreliable, they don't work with Cache programs, and Formidable response is to turn off features. Meanwhile, their own WEBSITE is broken. To the point that I had issues with one of their forms, and then went to support to report it and couldn't get the support form to work. This is NOT custom code, this is Formidables own form.

Formidable forms is not very reliable, and I'm not sure I even trust them any more as a contact us page. These are Form breaking bugs.

When we use custom code, things get worse. Formidable changes things, breaking our forms again, and causing our entire website to stop working. We report this, and they tell us to turn off Anti-spam features. Which is not really the solution, as we get spammed now.

And that is nothing to say about the extremely expensive program $400 /year, and how the "applications" are unfinished. Specifically, the "Applications" lack basic refinement. Like for instance, the LinkedIN profile links do no verification, and the help text for LinkedIN profiles only shows how to link individual profiles, and not company profiles (for things like their business listings).

This makes this a mess, and we are constantly improving everything Formidable provides. Simply said, I wish we didn't use this, and I will never develop another application using formidable.

I've been using the plugin since 1 year, pro version.
The plugin is excellent for main reasons.
1) The forms are very easy and self explaining. Drag and drop approach. It is a full database with a huge quantity possiblity of data handling. Impressive.
2) The assistance is very high level. The guys have patient and adapt the level of the answer depending of the user skills.
3) I woukd advise Formidable for both starter developer with no programming language knowledge and high experienced developer.

The product is good, but stops working when your license expires. No, you're not paying renewal to get updates and support. It will actually go back to free version functionality if you don't renew. The front-end will work, but you will not be able to make any changes to forms that use pro features.

It's funny because the product that you paid for doesn't need any 3rd party resources to work, but it will stop working anyway, only to force your payment. You can't just give up updates and support by not renewing and have your last version running. You will not even be able to download your last version that you paid for.

They now effectively charge not for the product, but for the access to the product.

Which means COMPLETE VENDOR LOCK-IN.
Everything you build with this plugin in pro version will forever be in their hands. You either pay the price they come up with each year, or face a complete rebuild from scratch.

Oh, and for renewal you will also have to pay double than what you paid for the first year.

this company doubled their price in a year and double all the other forms companies. Their support is just ok. They wanted double the price to renew my subscription and wp-forms is better and more user friendly. Use wp-forms. They are saying their reply that it’s only for the first year. I’ve been buying this form for about five years. So this is a lie. Also when I canceled the price immediately dropped 50%.

Firstly, Formidable is packed with so many features and benefits that other WordPress addons dont offer. We love the the repetitive field feature with makes Formidable a great app to use as an order form.

Secondly, their support is brilliant - I had a billing issue which was resolved in a few hours of me raising a support ticket (despite the time difference).

Amazing work from Formidable - I cant recommend enough!

I implemented a quiz on my website with Formidable Forms and had a steep learning curve. In the end I was able to get the functionality and look the way I wanted it and have it integrated with Google Sheets and my CRM. The AI bot they use to try and answer questions before you get to creating a support ticket is really good - actually providing step by step instructions on what to try. And, if you do need support by email, they are really responsive and very helpful!

The support person worked with me step-by-step to answer questions, solve tricky coding bits of my project, and teach me along the way so that I can now use the tools with more confidence and capability.

I'm retired and now developing websites for immigrants and refugees as a volunteer. I worked on several big name website developments during my career, particularly on the Oracle database side of the team. Discovering Formidable Forms has been a breakthrough for me because I didn't expect to find the type of database capabilities it provides. Try to find a custom search capability in another form builder! I couldn't. Now I feel as though I have complete interface to the MySQL backend, between the Formidable software and MySQL hosting site panels.
I have to agree with those who say the documentation is challenging. There is plenty of it but it takes some digging to find everything that applies to your situations. On the other hand, I submitted a support ticket around 8PM Sunday evening and got a response at 2:21AM as well as a fix for my problem at 8:10AM. I was very impressed!!
So, if you want to be able to do in WordPress what you did with corporate applications development, I highly recommend it!

They are not genuine. They say USD139.
But charging USD279+179 on the same day.

I first created a complex form in a PDF file. This took me over 50+ pages. Then I discovered Formidable Forms for WP and was able to complete the entire project in just 8 pages! The repeater and page break features helped me a lot to make a very complex form easy to use. Really great Plugin.

Laura at Formidable has been extremely helpful with the details of understanding how to use the shortcode filters and PHP to customize. Of course, actual customization is something you have to pay for, but help with understanding what’s happening with the code has been invaluable and definitely saved me time. Formidable has feature-rich plug-ins, for sure!

When I searched for the best form for wordpress, the first answer was formidable. I downloaded the free version and could see that it was true. I needed more sophisticated features and then I had no doubts. I bought the PRO version, and I have been very satisfied for more than 3 years.

After struggling with a freelance web developer for months to develop my site I decided to build it myself.
Starting from scratch, after just a few days with Formidable Forms I achieved more than in the previous six months and am now building on skills to become a competent freelancer myself!

It's amazing. I recommend it, is easy to use and exceptional function

So easy to use and so many options for templates and integrations. Wouldn't use any other form plugin for my wordpress sites!
