There are a LOT of credit card processing companies out there. Start a business and sign up with any one of them and you'll get to experience all of them calling to try and beat the other guys rates. Sometimes, it really comes down to customer service and Amber Strickland has been my person for over 2 years now. She was the random person I spoke to when I needed processing and has been there every step of my businesses growth since!! She ALWAYS goes the extra mile to make sure I'm in the right program for my business and has walked me thru multiple issues that weren't Fortis's fault (looking at you Authorize.net...)
I have no idea if I might save a few dollars by going with one of those companies that calls me because they don't have Amber. She gets back to me immediately and is the top reason I've stuck with Fortis!! Thanks Amber!!

I was contacted by Rafael Torres last September and he did a cost analysis comparison with a previous payment processor we were using at the time . By switching it saved us money and it was a smooth transition. Rafael had given me both his direct and office number. He always responded back very quickly and explained everything . I know that should I encounter any difficulties or need further assistance that Rafael would be there to help. Thanks Rafael !

My account specialist Jim Gustafson provided me with his personal cell phone to insure that my needs are handled efficiently. Emma in customer support has been fantastic following up via email. ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Came onboard June 2024 and the experience was horrible from the get go. Support rep was highly unresponsive. Won't mention names out of respect. I literally have an email thread where I sent 8 straight emails over multiple weeks and never was responded to. Then she finally responded 2 minutes after my 8th email. So basically she saw all of them and just thought "f*** off". Got escalated to her advisor and he responded once then fell off the face of the earth. Was told that PCI compliance would be taken care of for me. Never was contacted about it. Only to find out I've been incurring charges for months on end and when I reached out for clarity, never heard back. Called support multiple times and was told "I would hear back". Never did. Finally I got in contact with a competent rep who got me connected to PCI Smart. Entirely DIY questionnaire which is so far beyond my scope. Was literally told it would be the opposite of DIY. I want to complete the questionnaire so I can at least become PCI compliant then hopefully be refunded but if you answer a question wrong then you can possibly get sued as per Google. I'm at the point where I just want to be refunded for these excessive charges that have been going on since June and leave Fortis. Nothing wrong with a DIY compliance process but having a rep tell you the complete opposite is beyond incompetent. Especially as SMB owner who knows nothing about compliance. I'm not going to answer questions just for the sake of answering them then face possible penalties. Also had Bluedog which is a white label NMI and have been incurring charges for that and have tried to cancel multiple times because I was never able to get support to properly integrate into my CRM. Hopped on two tech support calls and both people didn't know anything. Asked to cancel because why pay for something that isn't even integrated. AGAIN. Was told I would be contacted to help me cancel and never heard back from months. Now the competent rep is hopefully helping me cancel Bluedog but I just want out. Absolute pathetic customer service. It's shame because I heard about Parallel Economy through Don Bongino and a "censor free" processing company is quite attractive and I like to support like minded businesses but this is beyond ridiculous. PLEASE. I JUST WANT TO BE REFUNDED AND LEAVE. I have so many screenshots it's absurd.
