Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 177 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people expressed significant dissatisfaction with the game's quality, frequently encountering bugs, glitches, and freezing during gameplay, especially after updates. The user experience is often described as frustrating due to persistent lagging, even on up-to-date devices, and issues with core mechanics like shooting and building. Reviewers also highlighted the prevalence of cheaters and hackers, which negatively impacts the fairness and enjoyment of the game, making lobbies feel overly competitive. The matchmaking system is frequently criticized for being unbalanced, leading to an overall decline in the fun factor and a sense of unfairness. Some people were dissatisfied with the constant updates, feeling they introduce more problems than improvements, and that the game has strayed too far from its original appeal with unnecessary collaborations and a lack of original content. Additionally, some customers reported issues with account management, such as losing access to skins and items, and difficulties with the V-Bucks redemption system, which they found inflexible. A few other people also felt that the pricing of game passes and the reduction in V-Bucks returned made the game less free-to-play friendly.

Do not buy game passes!

Do not buy game passes!
My son bought vbucks to buy a game pass. He uses Fortnite on Xbox (I have the main account and my children have their own accounts) and tried to redeem it. He had to redeem the vbucks on Epic's website which then generated a code that he had to redeem on Xbox. Turns out the console was connected to my account when he redeemed and the pass was associated with my account, although I did not use Fortnite...
I had to create an account in Fortnite to access the vbucks and when the pass was redeemed it was redeemed on my account... I could not transfer the pass to my son's account so I contacted Epic to explain the technical issues, my son's disappointment and all I got back were a couple of "computer says no" responses, probably crafted by AI.
So Epic has a redemption system which is not user friendly and zero flexibility when it comes to supporting customers... Their response was "why don't you spend more money to get another pass?". Pretty disappointing...

Brawl stars is the worst game ever

Brawl stars is the worst game ever. Everything is so unbalanced, we always get all the trash players that pulls us down even though we did we were useful to the team. We lose trophies and Elo in our matches despite us doing everything we can to carry the team. I know Brawl Stars have this thing called ‘underdog’ which prevents us from losing trophies, however we rarely see it, they give us underdog when the team can actually play properly. When it comes to events, we see idiots play power 1 brawlers, this we wasted our tickets to play the event. The punishment they give to trash people is very little for rank ONLY, but for normal pushing of trophies we can’t report them. Supercell should just put all the trash people in one team and the good players in one team. During rank, if a player disconnects, the bot that takes over is WAY TOOO STUIPD, which in the makes the team lose.

Fortnite had a great begging

Fortnite had a great begging. and as it progressed, it started getting better and better. Now, though, they ruined it by bringing back the OG skins in the shop, and the OG pass. I think it really got ruined at the last star wars season. Infinite ammo, really?

Needs console only. Full of hackers

Really don’t want to play the game anymore. So many hackers and epic do nothing to stop it. It’s just demoralising and I’m not giving them another penny.
All console players want is an option to play console only players. So many games have this option, why not epic, because they don’t care.

Not fun anymore

Fortnite used to be fun when it first came out but now it’s the most toxic gaming experience ever with all the hackers and unfair matchmaking getting third partied every game the cars are ridiculous everybody just sits in them and drives in it the og mode is ruined too by sweats and little kids using profanity in the mics and text chat so one time in a text chat a kid type trash to me all I responded with was “okay” and I get banned for reporting their message how does that happen? Epic does nothing and really this game is a scam the amount a skin costs is just pathetic their customer service doesn’t listen or do anything
