Luckily didn’t use this company but based on other reviews, my brief experience seems consistent with others.

Door to door salesman knocked today and asked if we were interested in windows, when I said no thank you he laughed and made a snide comment about the appearance of our house. Very rude and unpleasant man, I will be sure to tell everyone to avoid them.

First impressions are everything for a business; do better

Resin driveway …..after checking the reviews we made an enquiry and were visited by a rep. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a good price. They did the work very quickly, left it clean and tidy and the rubble was take away with 24 hours. We are over the moon with the end product. We have just had them back to fit a new composite door and again they did an excellent job. Would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Excellent from start to finish, Allan was really comprehensive in explaining my options for Doors and window replacements. Didn't try and over sell so only replaced what was needed. James and River were a great team of fitters worked extremely hard to get everything done in one day.Great value for money too compared to other quotes. Would highly recommend.

A few months ago I had a cold call offering doors and windows. Whilst I normally dismiss cold callers even for things I'm after, we were looking to get quotes from them (and others) for their services. Arranged a quotation.

In the lead up to the quotation I had 2 phone calls confirming the booking despite saying during the initial cold call that I would be home due to working from home, so didn't need a confirmation call.

The man who came for the quotation was very rude and dismissive throughout and refused to continue with a quote because my wife wasn't there to sign it off. Won't use Fortuna and will make a point of giving them an anti-recommendation going forward if ever asked.

They have since visited my house three times since this incident doing another cold call. I have told them each time to not come to my property and it has been ignored.

UPDATE 2nd Oct 14:30: Since leaving the very generic reply to this complaint I got an email from Trustpilot saying this review had been reported as defamatory and had been determined by Trustpilot to NOT be defamatory. Given the timing of this email coming shortly after the response I'm certain that the reporter of the comment was Fortuna themselves. Somewhat concerning they feel the need to attack freedom of speech like this.

I don’t normally consider buying from a cold call company, however I did not find them pushy at all. I agreed to a quotation and the salesman Allan was very good and comprehensive, I agreed to proceed. I was looking to replace 4 windows and a front door. All high quality and was able to pick the accessories/fittings I wanted.
There was a slight issue on the day with the fitting of the door and incorrect door handles provided but that was rectified the following week. The installation was exemplary, a high standard finish. The fitters names were River and Freddy. I would recommend this company to others.

My French Doors were installed in July 2023. I was very pleased with them until the later heatwave. The doors would stick as a result of the afternoon sun.
Adjustments were made but once the heatwave was over the doors were fine.
Unfortunately, in the heatwave earlier this year the doors were still sticking. After another visit for adjustment the problem was unresolved.
Fortuna replaced the door in August 2024 and have performed excellently during the later heatwave.
In particular, I would like to thank Charlotte, who dealt with my phone calls, Shoz, who arranged for the replacement doors, not forgetting those who installed the original doors and adjusted them and finally to install the new doors.
The new doors are perfect.

Had a cold call about new windows. Having recently moved into our new house and knowing this needed doing, we agreed. I was called prior to the visit asking whether my husband would be with me at the time of the visit! The salesman turned up 20 minutes late with no apology. Initially quoted an extortionate amount before saying he could reduce it by £7,000 immediately. After saying we would have to consider this, he lowered the price again. When we still said no, he called his manager (he had no signal and his manager couldn't hear him so not sure what he achieved!) and managed to reduce the quote again. Very, very pushy for us to agree to the quote now. When asked if he could email us the quote for us to consider, he said it was not a quote and was a 'here and now' offer! Once firmly told we would not be agreeing to new windows today, he left abruptly and rudely. I have not had contact from the company since. Have since dealt with a other local company who have been absolutely fantastic. Would not recommend Fortuna!

We've had a new Composite door installed today by James. Very happy with his work. He was polite and worked hard in the driving rain as well as having some difficult obstacles like internet and electricity boxes to work around. Top quality door and workmanship.

Many thanks to the crew consisting of James, Allen & Fred who completed a very satisfactory installation of six windows today. Job completed in a timely and efficient manner and full confidence in the skill and experience of the guys. Good communication with us throughout the day, good finishing and attention to detail and good cleaning up at the end. A nice bunch of guys in general. Very happy with the outcome.

What a nice company to deal with! Absolutely no sales pressure. Had them install patio doors and two windows and found them to be competitively priced with excellent products and clear invoicing. From initial contact to installation everyone was friendly, informative and keen to ensure we were happy with the work. Everything left clean and tidy afterwards. I would be very happy to recommend them to anyone wanting to replace their windows and doors.

Thank you for fitting our new front door. Nothing was too much trouble from start to finish, from Chris who came to take our order to the company team who kept us informed of the progress of our order and the fitters who were prompt, efficient and friendly. OK, they did a cold call, but the there was a simple, "if you are considering new windows or doors let us quote" conversation, no pressure.
As it was we were interested so I did arrange for a quote and Errol subsequently visited us.
There was no pressure or any silly sales tactics like ' I will call my boss to see if we can get a better deal' etc.
Errol just gave us a quote based on being happy to get the job done when they could next schedule it, or if we wanted to wait longer, a slightly higher one that they would fix for several months.
We were happy with the price, and agreed to go ahead so the surveyor came a few days later to do the accurate measurements, again a very pleasant and professional process.
The installation went ahead on time, and the fitters, James and Allen were both excellent.
They were very hard working, all the work was done to a high standard, and they kept everything nice and clean.
We are very happy with the replacement windows and our new door.
Certainly recommend Fortuna Home Solutions.

What can I say?! I received a cold call from Fortuna at the perfect time as we were talking about getting some windows replaced as soon as possible. I was, naturally, a little bit nervous as the Company were unknown to us, did I need to worry? Absolute Not!
What an amazing team from start to finish, from Chris who showed us the product, the Surveyor, the team in the office, installation guys and Shoz who I spoke to after the job was complete. Got 6 windows replaced on Friday 26th July and couldn't have a nicer group of guys doing the installation. I felt really comfortable with them, which was so important to me, being a female on my own. The were hard-working, tidy, good fun (could have a laugh with them) and really good at their job. We're delighted with the end result and will definitely be using them again when we get the rest of the windows and the conservatory replaced later in the year. Thank you Darren, Cameron, Freddy, James & River for your hard work (tea with 2 sugars x 2, tea no sugar x 1 and a bottle of Fanta will be ready for you next time you come).

Great service throughout the window fitting work, everything was completed on time and the whole team were very friendly throughout. Alan and Fred who completed the install were very polite and tidy.

i have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company.they supplied and fitted 7 new A+ double glazed windows and a new energy efficient front door. the fitters callum and jay were absolute professionals,polite,friendly.and extremely hard working.they cleaned and hoovered after each fitting,checked and checked again that everything was to the highest standard.the quality of the product is superb and amazing quality and value.to use any other company is simply A NO-BRAINER. 5 platinum stars
