Forvo has been a great tool learning Spanish and Dutch. It's been immensely useful. I don't know where you would go for this information otherwise.

I would like to do some submissions myself but, as an English speaker, the only requests needing speaking are long nonsense phrases/sentence. It would be good if some moderator or employee of Forvo could clean out this junk. Besides, I think they are a risk for someone using ElevenLabs or a similar AI product to train an AI and replicate the spoken voice of the person, which is a risk for fraud and impersonation.

Useful but buggy
Very useful service, but website has some serious bugs. For example, the password reset silently fails and locks you out if your password is long.

Language site.

To be honest, i can't remember much about it now, so I can't have thought much of it.

The one star is because, out of the blue, it started to send unsolicited emails to me. This is a real bugbear for me. I never sign up to mailing lists and regard spam or unsolicited emails as the bane of my life. And suddenly this outfit takes it into its head to start sending me junk.

So..#fail
