I lost a pair of headphones and my other others items are not being shipped

Sometime back, I had ordered a pair of headphones (around 160 $). Since it was delivered over a weekend, and no on picked up my headphones at the forwardme center, (apparently) they went missing over the weekend, just like that. Neither the seller nor forwardme will compensate me for that. Can't such a thriving company compensate me for my loss? What is my fault in this?

At the same time, I had ordered 5 other things (around 240 $) and I have paid the shipping fees too. It was supposed to be delivered between March 17 to 19, but it has not only not been shipped, but I am not even getting a revised shipping date from forwardme.

I feel so helpless as a customer from a far-off country (India).

My previous experience (some years back) was very good, so I reused forwardme. So far, this has been a painful experience. I am not sure how to get back the money I seem to have lost.

Can anyone with a similar experience help me get back my money or the shopped items? I can send screenshots for proof, that I am a genuine shopper.

I'm from Italy and bought a MacBook Pro…

I'm from Italy and bought a MacBook Pro M1 16gb 1tb from Amazon.com. I paid it over 2k. I've never used a similar service before and didn't know they existed. Gotta be honest, at first, I thought I was scammed lol and I wrote them many times using their chat. They always answered me within a few hours and told me to not worry. Now I'm writing this review from my new MacBook and I can assure any of you, that this company is legit. Side note: I didn't know I had to pay VAT and taxes to have it shipped to Italy, and I saved only 100 euros instead of the 400-500 euros I thought initially, but this is not Forwardme's fault.

Amazing experience!

I had an amazing experience with this shipping service!
My questions were answered very quickly and kindly. Their customer service (James) was really helpful. They even helped me with a special request.

The website was really easy to use, payment was clear and easy. There weren’t any hidden costs. They packaged my items carefully and they arrived in perfect condition (and very fast, too).

Overall, I had a great experience and they helped me find and get some items I never would have been to get otherwise.

Great

First time using this kind of service, was a bit worried since there are not many reviews but I'm happy to say that everything went smoothly. Really happy with my purchase. I used the option that forwardme buy the product for me and it took 3 weeks to recieve the product (from US to Sweden). I also got my questions answered quickly! HOW A HOGWARTS WIZARD GOT ME MY PARCEL

The first point o make is that i will eventually after much hard work and emails receive my two parcels. as to the question of would i use this company again i might but only for something that is non-time sensitive is less than 100 bucks in price and is therefore disposable, I would also use PayPal for the transaction. I will explain.

I ordered two sets of linear rails from Amazon for the boys club woodworking class. i promised the boys they could do the work on the holidays and expected the rails to arrive in plenty of time. Amazon did indeed get the rails to Forwardme within three days.
At this point, things started to go wrong. the items sat in forwardme from 30th September until I emailed them and asked why the items were not visible in my IN BOX. five days later, another two days and i had a reply asking me for the tracking number and more details. the parcels were found apparently " the delivery label was unreadable. "
anyway, after another few days the parcels showed up in my inbox. and I requested DHL (I'm on a military base so fedex is not allowed to deliver here. They employ a last mile company that is not security cleared.)

nothing happens for a few days so i email them again, and by now James and i are on first-name terms. it seems as though dhl wants more money. but don't worry James ( BTW JAMES IS A WIZARD) is going to handle it personally........

a few days after that i do in fact get an invoice for $50. and pay it there and then. of course, the boy's hopes of getting to grips with their project is now well and truly dashed. But don't worry James is a wizard and has a time turner....

the first parcel leaves with dhl, the second parcel seems stuck in that space a magical place that forwardme calls processing (interestingly it also shows dispatched delivery by 6th /10 october )
another email to James our magician, and now its the 13th of Octobe ( not a Friday fortunately. ) and by now i can see my $250 for the rails and another $249 for shipping slipping into the pockets of forwardme. and decide to cut my losses.

i inform James my new magician friend that i will open a DISPUTE with PayPal for the 249. to be fair I give him a few hour's grace after all he can pull a rabit out of a hat, but when I get no reply I do indeed open the complaint. i guess he was in snapes class and you know how mean he can be!

James then sends me the email below.....
Dear Gerald,

I have just seen the e-mail from PayPal, and I am shocked by this situation. As I have already stated, your package has been handed over to the courier company on 10/11/2022 to be delivered to you, and your package is in transit at the LEIPZIG. You can track the shipment by clicking here, or you can log into your account, and click on the Sent button to follow your shipment.

The reason why you didn't get a follow-up with the tracking number is the fact that our system somehow left your tracking hang, and we had to put your tracking number manually. Now, you have the tracking number, and your package is also in transit to you.

You may not believe us on this matter due to the past, but as you can see in the screenshot I attached, you can see the details like when is handed over, where the package is, and estimated delivery from DHL's website.

i sent this email. and i have to admit i was a tad tired...

C. BOTH ORDERS THE SAME TRACKING NUMBER.

this generated a flurry of activity James our wizard in training spoke to dumbledor, who spoke to professor snape who spoke to Hermany, anyway turns out slithering, OOPS wrong story. I got this email from our wizard in training.
Dear Gerald,

We apologize for this inconvenience! I have checked and found that there was an error in our system, which caused confusion on both ends. We will be happy to fix the problem as soon as possible--in a few hours at most!
We really appreciate your patience while we work through these issues with the IT.

NOT sure what ends he is talking about i was not confused...
wizard time passes slowly at least for us non-magical folk ( muggles) a few hours later: is well more like a few days later, I got an email. no space left for it here,essentially telling me that it's on its way and asking me to release the PayPal hold... it has taken 18 days and so many emails an owl could have died. but in the end, the wizarding world that is forwardme did some cool magic, helped by Paypal and Hogwarts. my hats off to James the wizzard.

First time using & parcel arrived in Australia today

This was my first time using a forwarding Address Service… I messaged forward me on their online chat as the store I wanted to order from was not listed… The Customer Service staff member added the store to the list of stores I could order from and answered other questions that I had… I then did the very simple process of using the address given to order from the store… Added the details in my little dashboard and when my parcel arrived I was notified and could choose the delivery company… Overall the experience was very straightforward and very reassuring/trustworthy… I’m so grateful for being able to order things from America that I cannot purchase in Australia. Great

First time using mail forwarding service. Initially, I was afraid that it might be a scam because the site looked SO easy to use. But after talking with fast and responsive customer support, I changed my mind. I had some issue in using the service (tax fees are not listed for some countries (e.g. Georgia); Stripe payment system does not support banks of some countries) and with delivery, but the support helped me solve them and accompanied me from purchase to delivery.

Perfect for getting US products to Australia

I started using ForwardMe when some indie companies in the US were unable to keep shipping to Australia during the 2020 lockdowns. I found ForwardMe after doing some research and I haven't stopped since.
The platform is really easy to use and their customer support is very quick and very efficient. I've never had a problem with the service and when I've had trouble with the delivery partners they've made sure to get in touch and investigate what's going on on my behalf.
I recommend ForwardMe often to friends and family and will continue to use it.

Helpful international purchasing

I am in Australia and have tried a few of these mailing services. Some have been more expensive. Some won't send multiple packages together. I have found forwardme to be the right internation postage site for me. The best part is that customer service. I had a package that was taking a little longer to arrive and I noticed that by the time it finally arrived, one of my other packages would be over the hold limit. I contacted support and explained the situation and I had no issues and could send everything out a few days late. Another time I had a duty tax problem in my country and I needed a form to be updated to fix things and they helped me out. I had accidentally added an extra 0 on the dollar amount. After showing all the receipts and that it had been a genuine mistake, they helped with emails and forms and just made the process a lot less painless. The postage price is a little unfortunate, but that is only because of the poor currency conversion that has been going on these past months. The price on their side is actually quite reasonable. Mostly I appreciate the positive customer service.

They ignore me.

The Fedex parcel 270419561132 was returned to their warehouse due to the war in Ukraine. I did not find the parcel on the site. They promised to sort it out, but it's been more than 3 months already... At the moment, their support service does not answer me. They ignore me.

Satisfied Service

Our experience with Forwardme has been great so far, they have met every expectation! We had a bit of an issue with Fedex (Carrier) with regards to the Commercial Invoice and I emailed James at Forwardme and he was quick to follow up and send through the Commercial Invoice.
We will continue our journey in ordering our products from the USA through Forwardme.

Don't use these guys! Very bad service!

Have not had one parcel delivered without having to contact them. This is the last time I use them. Evidence showed that my parcel had been delivered/accepted by ForwardMe, 48 days later, multiple requests for assistance and they still haven't located my parcel. Customer service is atrocious, and they blatantly lied to me. Lodging a formal complaint with the BBB, State Attorney General and FTC.

I briefly describe my experience with forwardme redirector. I had an unforgettable experience, I won't go into detail so as not to be too extensive. All that is good is to be remembered and I will remember it whenever I need to shop in the USA for Angola (Ao na casa shout do Lobito, Luanda). It is recommended for the professionalism they offer.

Exceptional Service, communication and speed. A must have in my quiver for business.

I've been working with these folks for around a year, for a growing company they are doing an excellent job so I would highly recommend you check them out. I buy in the US and ship to Canada and my experience has been exemplary. They are on the ball and communicate well if there are delays (during the holiday season one time a few days delay, as to be expected). They do exactly what they say they will do and their rates and shipping are all very reasonable. No complaints, just go see!
