It is impossible to speak with a human. Transfer of mortgage from BFCU to Four Leaf has been a disaster. They are totally unresponsive and robot controlled.

I have been with Bethpage for little more than 2 years. I like the service and the customer representatives are very courteous and professional.
I did not have much issue and once my card was compromised and someone charged my card and once I reported of this they credited back the amount next day. I like them very much. Of course I like them to be more advanced technologically as far as money transfer from bank to bank etc. Hopefully, they will upgrade their systems soon.
I will continue to bank with them as long as I could. Will recommend to anyone who need their services.

In the past, when it was Bethpage I had to make an appointment with a next level employee (not a teller) to do CD transactions. Now Four Leaf does it on a walk in basis so I got done what I needed to get done without having to wait for someone on the floor to be free or make an appointment.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CREDIT UNION. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. SINCE BETHPAGE MERGED WITH THEM THEY HAVE A MIN OF 1-2 HOUR HOLD TIMES TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE.

Tone of "Money Like a Woman" with unsmiling, unfreindly women is off-putting to decent family-oriented clients. Its now just a corporate business, nothing like the freindly Bethpage FCU with great logo and customer loyalty.
They were very friendly and informative. They let me and my wife speak. We were not rushed in any way the whole process was smooth quick and easy

Primitive bank - manual and paper based like the 1980’s. Cannot transfer fund from HELOC electronically, only by going to branch and even then it’s a multi-day process or by paper check (which was never sent to me). Furthermore the app and website lost all my transaction history.

Since Bethpage FCU changed to Four Leaf, banking with FourLeaf has significantly become worse. All the communications alerting me to the change to FourLeaf said nothing is changing, but their name. This isn’t the case. Utilizing my HELOC became more challenging. Many of their previous conveniences that were part of Bethpage FCU have all disappeared. Getting help with customer service is also worse. That’s why I’m leaving FourLeaf.

We came in to tale out a car loan and the guy who helped us was very nice but lacking the knowledge necessary to help us. He kept leaving to ask his fellow workers what to do. Also I was buying my daughters car and he said we would have to pay sales tax. WRONG , According to DMV NO TAX BETWEEN FAMILY MEMBERS. So, he had us borrow the money to pay the tax, when it wasn’t needed. Just a matter of information, not Criticism. Thank You. Robert and Christina Santos

I'm having the exact same issue as some others have mentioned. The bank took over Bethpage and changed the way my loan funds can be withdrawn and now I'm forced to use paper checks for everything. Oh and get this, I can't even use the original checks I was given and was never mailed new checks...The loans pretty much useless at this point. Absolutely RIDICULOUS and extremely stupid. Not only that, the tech of this lender is completely outdated and inefficient. Definitely going to to be looking at switching my HELOC with a different bank. Avoid at all costs.

If i could, I would give them zero stars. I have been with this credit union for over 26 years and can't even get a loan. The first loan I applied for was back in the 90's for $1000 and if it wasn't for the consultant telling me that she's going to push for me to get the loan because I had very good credit, I probably would'nt have gotten the loan. Fast foward, I applied once again some years later for a loan with the same credit status and yet they denied me again. I applied again on August 19, 2025 to only be denied again. Based on what the assistant branch manager claimed was that they felt that the debt consolidation loan would've not been beneficial for me and that they are strict. I have 2 good paying jobs, a good credit score and NO LATE PAYMENTS, EVER! Yet I was still denied in despite of having excellent payment history and a pre-approved loan for $25,000 with another financial institutuion.. I told the assistant manager that they are biased and had I not thought the loan would've no't benefited me, I would've never asked for the amount I asked for. I refuse to continue to bank with a bias credit union who doesn't have a problem taking my money but yet are too bias to give me a loan. I will be closing every account of ours and go where I am not judged for the COLOR OF MY SKIN - but for my worthiness. So yes - Four Leaf Credit Union is a biased credit union. Don't do business with this prejudice business - FOUR LEAF formerly Bethpage Federal Credit Union!

FourLeaf Federal Credit Union made Home Equity lines really inconvenient for their customers! This time I am writing about the issues making principal payments to the HELOC. The payment platform they use do not allow an option to make principal only payments even when you have made the interest payment. I have to call into the new servicer to have this done. This is another huge inconvenience for the customer. To fix this issue, FLFCU needs to move all HELOCs back to their original servicer and allow the original features of the app and online platform.
I wrote a review 7 days ago regarding the following issues with the HELOC. Customers with home equity lines can only access that money through checks. Money cannot be transferred through the app or through any other source. This is extremely inconvenient for customers!
Previously, customers could transfer money within the app to other accounts with FourLeaf 24/7. This is the ideal way for customers to be able to use their home equity lines because it allows us access to our money when we need it, 24/7, and within minutes! In addition, it allowed customers to deposit money into the home equity line more easily for payments.
To fix this problem, FourLeaf needs to reinstate the ability to transfer funds from the home equity line to all accounts with FourLeaf and allow direct deposits into the home equity line within the app.
It is understood that companies make mistakes; however, it is how they handle those mistakes that matter. FourLeaf needs to fix this immediately to show they pay attention and are here for the convenience of their customers.
