Hate gyms! But not this one!!!
Hate gyms!! Not a natural gym bunny!!! HOWEVER! this place is great! ( well as great as it can be for someone who hates exercise!!) The coaches are super friendly and supportive. Lots of other friendly patrons! I actually don't mind going! ( cant believe i said that out loud!) Lots of different shapes and sizes and everyone works at their own level whilst being gently pushed! I would highly recommend!!
Friendly, professional gym that doesn't take itself too seriously.
It was important to me to find a gym that didn't judge or patronise me, I know I'm not in great shape but i need their help not pity or disgust. I love this place, they're friendly and down to earth, they offer great suggestions for alternatives when they can see I'm nervous about even trying something as it's too much of a stretch for where I am right now. I love all the existing members too, there's no big egos just encouragement and a mutual feeling of just wanting to get fit and see what our bodies are capable of.
The weekly check ins are great, a good balance of being there as your conscience without being intrusive. I also appreciate the monthly face to face one to ones to review and plan targets.
A great place to train.
I love it here!! I joined in March 2025 having always just been to normal gyms and not doing any classes at them, but this is so much better. Alice, Connor & Charlie are great trainers, I always feel really good after a class. You won’t regret joining.
Love FQF
Love FQF! Only been going a month but I've signed up to a rolling contract now, it's such a great atmosphere in the classes, everyone's really nice, my coach checks in with my progress every week and is always on hand if I ever need help, to the point that she sent me exercises/stretches to complete at home when I said I had back pain in one of the classes! You're not just another member to them, they actually care about your progress.
The best personal and friendly gym
I have been looking for somewhere I feel comfortable in, where I am able to work out. I find it very hard I am mainstream gym as I am always self conscious about everything around me. When I found FQF on Facebook and set up that initial call I was sceptical but the call was so good I signed up there and then. For the four weeks. I was still worried what it would be like as I had not yet been to the place however from the second I stepped through the door I was welcomed and guided through the session given a buddy for the beginning and then helped to find my feet. I have never felt more comfortable and at ease in the gym. My mental health is I. So much a better place with them and the coaches and other guys there are amazingly friendly and helpful. I have singed up for a year now and can’t wait to see and feel the changes in myself as I move forwards here. If you are looking for somewhere to help and build you up join you will not forget it. All I can say is thank you and come join us
Amazing gym & they make you really work.
From the minute i started all the staff and other people have been welcoming and supportive. Your coaches are always available for advice and motivation which for me really helped. Been going for 5 weeks and couldn’t recommend it enough. The improvement in my physical health and mental health is more than I could have expected. Long may it continue
The best decision I’ve made for a long time
I, like many people who attend, am in my early 40s. I have been running for a good few years now but I found that I wasn’t getting the same health benefits as before. I wanted to lose weight, tone up a bit and generally feel better. It’s properly fair to say I’d let myself go a bit with a busy job and busy life and the thought of a gym was a bit scary to me. I had seen the adverts for FQF and they actually looked like a genuine place for someone like me to make the lifestyle changes I needed to.
After putting it off for a while, I decided to bite the bullet and sign up. I did the initial 4 week introduction and attended the 6am Project You sessions. I have found the whole process to be fantastic! The sessions are focused and, now I’m 6 weeks in, I am seeing real benefits! I feel stronger, have more energy, less weight and I’m really enjoying it. The coaches make sure they support you but also make it fun and you feel like you have a personal connection with them. Weekly checkins have really helped to keep me on track but also showed me that it’s ok to be normal and that going for a pint once in a while is ok! Diet advice is personalised and achievable. And, most importantly, if I ever have any questions I know the team will always answer and support me. Everyone is a genuine person and a normal human!
I have now committed to 12 months and I really looking forward to seeing more of the benefits of being a part of FQF! I would advise anyone wondering about giving it a go to do it!
The best place
My experience at FQF has been top drawer, right from the initial phone call, through all the classes and in all my interactions with the coaches.
I’ve never got on board with conventional gyms and have previously focused most of my fitness work on cardio. But since the birth of my son, I’ve found myself wanting to get stronger but without any clear direction on how to approach it.
So, I was looking for somewhere I could still meet new people, but without feeling the pressure of a big gym environment. Fortunately, FQF is within a couple of miles of my house and after a really positive initial call, I signed up for 4 weeks.
The difference in my general fitness, the look of my body in 4 weeks was more than I could have hoped for and I’ve absolutely got the bug to push myself more and more.
The coaches provide great direction and encouragement and the sessions are varied, focused and fun.
The facility is clean, sleek and welcoming.
I’ve absolutely no criticisms, it’s a brilliant place and I’m buzzing I found it and am a part of such a fantastic community.

I joined FQF for the 6 week programme in September 2023 and never looked back! The team ask for your goals and tailor the programme to you. The classes are so welcoming and inclusive filled with like minded members who are so supportive and encouraging! The coaches are so friendly and always push you in the classes so you’re constantly improving. They’re always available for any questions and advice you may need. - highly recommended, joining has completely changed my lifestyle for the better☺️
Class style gym
I’ve been a member of many gyms but always done solo training, the class style of training at 4th Qtr is something I was unsure of at first but the way the classes are put together by all the amazing coaches makes it a really enjoyable way to train. In class the coaches give you great advice on technique and will give you loads of encouragement to get everything you can out of your training. All the other members are really friendly and supportive with no egos making it a pleasure to be part of regardless of ability. Away from the gym the coaches regularly check in with you to see how things are going and to feedback on sessions, makes you feel like the genuinely care about your progress. Cannot speak highly enough would definitely recommend.

I can totally recommend FQF. After years of yo-yo dieting and trying every ‘miracle’ diet invented, I was approaching 60 and in a lightening moment I decided I wanted to get fit rather than thin. I joined FQF and loved it from the very start. After 6 weeks I can’t believe how I have progressed and how my mind set has changed. Alice and Charlie are so friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. FQF encourage you every step of the way. I enjoy every class and, without even realising, I’ve lost weight too 😀.
Adapted to your individual circumstances …
I have a number of medical conditions to work around, and this is no issue. I’m just given alternative exercises to do that still push me. I love the small group PT sessions. I feel like I’m getting the 121 workout but as doing in a small group the cost is considerably cheaper. Love the gym and all the trainers are so friendly but just keep pushing you a little more each week to help you improve. There are at least 2 or 3 time slots a day to choose from so no excuses not to go 😀
Great inclusive gym tailored to your needs
I’ve been to many gyms over the years but have to say Fourth Quarter is turning out to be my fav!
I started with their 4 week programme and carried on from there. The team ask for your individual goals and abilities and tailor the programme from there, setting achievable yet still challenging targets to get you where you want to be.
The classes whilst tough are fun and really inclusive! There are all shapes, sizes and abilities there so no pressure to look a certain way or be a certain ability, you just do you! The similarity in the whole group is everyone wants to be there so there’s so much support and encouragement - a real community there!
Love it
These guys know what they’re doing, the team have created a friendly, inclusive and welcoming environment and it’s really paid off. The other members are all great people with similar goals and attitudes, which makes for a great session culture where everyone is in the same boat.
Sessions are really well structured, engaging, challenging but well explained so you are never unsure what to do or how to do it. The concept of the 4 week cycle keeps workouts fresh, and the ability to attend ‘you time’ sessions to use the equipment as you please gives the chance to work on anything you feel is needed.
The team are the stars of this show, they keep you honest with regular communication that makes you focus but not feel spoken down to (think more supportive coach than drill sergeant..), calorie targets and dietary reviews are also up for discussion which is incredibly helpful if you need some ‘direction’ as I did…
Can’t speak highly enough of them, would recommend for anyone considering but hesitant or worried about the group dynamic, it’s not scary, it’s brilliant.
Best experience for a non gym bunny!
I wanted to give a review as I don’t normally like going to the gym but Fourth Quarter Fitness has been a different experience for me so very much worth a quick mention.
I have reached a certain age and am going through the menopause, have an under active thyroid including aching joints as well as being unfit and overweight. I initially joined for 4 weeks to see what I thought. I can honestly say it’s been great! The instructors are brilliant and treat us all as individuals knowing we have different strengths and abilities but at the same time motivate you to keep going.
I feel better for going and can actually say I am enjoying it (im shocked).
I attend the smaller group and have met some lovely people who made me feel welcome right from the start.
I would highly recommend and have signed up for another 3 months! ☺️
4 week programme
Alice, Charlie and Connor are all brill tutors who support you to achieve your goals no matter what level you're at.
They have great knowledge and varied workouts to keep things interesting, mixed with lots of energy to keep you motivated. They also listen when it comes to any personal issues/injuries and offer a personalised route to help.
The gym is like a family environment, everyone there is really friendly and helpful, really supporting positivity and general wellbeing - I really enjoyed my time and will return back soon.

4 week fitness challenge…
I joined the 4 week fitness challenge in January. The reason behind my decision was since starting the menopause I had started to gain weight and see my body change. Forth Quarter worked out a calorie plan, daily steps target and water intake. I attended 3/ 4 classes a week. The classes are challenging but great and the coaches push and motivate you. The weekly check ins also keep you on track.
At the end of the challenge I am very happy with the results, my body is stronger and my shape is changing. I’ve lost 19inches from my body and 6lbs. If you want to improve your fitness and see great results, then I highly recommend Fourth Quarter.
