I know nothing about solar installations other than what I see on the Fox app. I rang the Fox technical team for advice re. my system not working correctly after OVO energy installed a new SMET2 electric meter incorrectly (CT clamp facing the wrong way and the COM port not working correctly). Between Josh and Rehan (Fox technical team), they managed to remotely reverse the CT clamp and get accurate communications running. Had they not done this work, I fear my battery would, at best, require a bench charge, or could have been damaged such that it would not work correctly. They were very helpful in explaining to me what had happened in easy, understandable language and they put a temporary fix in place that saved my battery. Well done and thank you.

Hi Fox ESS Team,I am writing to provide outstanding feedback for one of your technical support engineers, Kai Xu.Following a remote firmware update last night, my hybrid inverter system locked up, showing a frozen screen with 'Waiting...' and 'SoC N/A'. My installer was unavailable, but I called your UK helpline and spoke to Kai Xu.Kai was absolutely brilliant. He quickly diagnosed that the CT2 sensor configuration had been disabled by the update, blinding the inverter to my older 2018 solar generation. He remotely enabled CT2 and pushed the correct parameters, instantly fixing my app dashboard and waking up my battery system.His technical knowledge, speed, and helpful customer service were fantastic. Please ensure this compliment is passed along to his manager and added to his performance record.Best regards, Nadia

I’ve got a Fox system USB wireless connection underneath the inverter wasn’t working. Fox sent me a new one and then spoken to Customer Service. How to install it fantastic Customer Service always helpful.

After two years I finally have sorted out my energy efficiency. Wish I rang fox-ESS at the start. Within fifteen minutes James had reset the error and now I can see that the battery is discharging and I am not paying the grid. So 10/10 for James thank you from Caron

I had a technical query regarding the FoxESS app and was fortunate to speak with James. He was extremely polite, respectful, patient, and genuinely helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure both the app and my solar setup were working properly.

James also explained what to look out for, including that if the load readings were mirroring the solar generation values, it could potentially indicate an installation issue and that I should contact my installer.

He listened carefully, explained everything clearly, and made sure I was confident with what to do next. An absolute gentleman and a credit to FoxESS. I would definitely ask for James again if I ever have any further issues. Highly recommended!

Thank you Fox for fixing a faulty system under the warranty. They truley care about their customers, even after sale.

Big thanks to their engineer, Lewis who replaced the faulty invertor and battery system with brand new upgraded one. He was very professional, and we are indeed very happy having our solar running .

Thak you FoxESS. After a prod you have moved well. Following a visit the inverter is working again. But the inverter will be replaced soon to hopefully prevent this from happening again
