The lady who responded was very polite
The lady who responded was very polite. I didn’t expect to hear from this institution. It’s an important financial move for me and having such warm and direct contact with FPRA induced trust in me: in my capacity to make the move and in the system on the whole.
I only wish we had joined earlier!
We recently joined the FPRA, and I am so glad we did!
It's good to have someone independent and knowledgeable to turn to, especially as a first time Director of a block of flats.
Very helpful and sensible advice.

Excilent Service
We had very comprehensive responses to our questions by Legal Advisor Nicholas Roberts. We are grateful for your services and will extend membership with FPRA.
Good Advice
Very informative and helpful every time we have made an enquiry.
Join the FPRA!
The FPRA is an excellent organisation and I would recommend it to any managing company.
They run free seminars/webinars on topics of interest, provide free advice, and generally provide support and lobby on behalf of residents associations and managing companies.
Expert advice promptly dispensed!
The FPRA answered our query very promptly and clearly. It's reassuring to know that there is an organisation with a wealth of knowledge and experience for us to draw on!
Thank you for your help, much appreciated.
Federation of Private Residents Assc
Having sought the help of the FPRA over some difficult questions about our Leases, our Managing Company are indebted to the advice provided by their Legal Adviser. The FPRA is a real asset and we would strongly recommend them for the professional service they provide.
Great service
Great service. Clear precise answers. Very prompt replies.
Excellent service
Excellent service. Sent 2 questions and got a reply in less than 24 hours. Brilliant.
Advice on terms of lease
A lucid and comprehensive reply to our question, one that I will be able to refer to in my future discussions with the freeholder. And it came back from the FPRAs adviser in under two working days.
Very helpful ongoing support
Mr. Roberts, a legal advisor at the FPRA, has been kindly sharing his expertise and helping our association navigate a leaseholder's options in many different situations this year.
The advice provided has been instrumental in allowing us to better understand leasehold law and whether or not our freeholder is acting in a fair and reasonable way towards leaseholders and residents.
I would strongly recommend becoming a member of the FPRA for any leaseholders' association that is seeking professional advice to become better informed on their respective situation.
Detailed response
A very quick and detailed response to my questions about H&S surveys, their frequency and responsibilities.
Clear and helpful feedback on billing for resident's water consumption
Clear and helpful feedback. The recommendation on billing for 'own use' water aligns with changes we made this year to our financial management and reporting. Just disappointing that the information we were given that water companies were obliged to read meters was incorrect.
FPRA is an extremely valuable resource
An excellent organisation that gives invaluable, impartial advice. A recent legal question was answered within a couple of days in a comprehensive and most helpful manner. Highly recommended!
Membership Essential!
New Members in Jun 20 we have already benefit hugely from attending the webinars and from website content. However a recent request for some specific guidance on a First Tier Tribunal situation provided a real insight into the fantastic benefits of being a member. I can not recommend membership enough & would say it is vital for any self managed Block or Residents Assocation who want to understand their rights and obligations to their third party landlord. This won’t be the last huge thank you to the FPRA. Outstanding.
Great support from FPRA
Extremely helpful and quick response to a series of complicated questions! Thanks to all at FPRA!
A very, very helpful service
I cannot express enough how helpful the team at FPRA have been over the last few years since we joined them. They provide helpful, clear guidance when needed and the newsletters are always an interesting read. I am the Administrator in charge of 2 blocks of flats, in total 124 properties and I have found their service to be invaluable. Thank you team
Freeholder Avarice
Nick Roberts was excellent in fully responding to all my concerns regarding our freeholder who is attempting to force undue financial burdens on the leaseholders. For anyone having to manage the difficulties of leasehold property the FPRA offers an excellent service.
