I found it absolutely captivating

I found it absolutely captivating. Somehow the layout of the rooms is almost understated, and yet the experiences inside them were unforgettable.
The Pompeii piece was particularly profound.

It is so refreshing when those who added animation to art seemed to have a real sensitivity to the art itself, and sought to work within the artist's own imagination.

Frameless was a fantastic experience…

Frameless was a fantastic experience for the whole family. I visited with my family, including our six-month-old baby, and it was genuinely enjoyable for all ages. The immersive galleries beautifully celebrate some of the world’s most famous artists and artworks in a way that feels engaging and accessible.

Our six-month-old was completely captivated by the visuals, and I was really impressed with how child-friendly the whole experience is. I’d happily go back again - it’s well worth a visit and a truly memorable experience.

Fantastic experience

Had. a really wonderful day visiting Frameless with my hubby. Every room was magical and the staff were very helpful. We loved the bar area where you can just chill. Only slight issue was there were a lot of younger kids running around and making a lot of noise in one or two of the exhibits. That can't be helped as really up to the parents to look after them. They do offer an adult only evening option, which I think i'll try. next time. But overall, a wonderful experience

Visited Frameless on 25th Oct 2025

Visited Frameless on 25th Oct 2025. The first 3 rooms didn’t impress us much and very slow on scene/ picture changing with annoying kids running around in the first room. Why do parents just allow their kids to do whatever they like. The 4 th room was interesting and an experience which was pleasant. I would suggest the £30 per person a bit high when the time slot we booked in for had more people in it than expected which can obstruct the viewing of the scene. I would have thought £25 a very fair price. It would help if the staff member standing outside each room was actually standing inside the entrance and intervene when children are out of control plus can see just how many people are already in a room before allowing more in. Overall this was a nice experience with a difference. One visit is enough as we found it quite draining with watching the scenes and the very loud music.

Absolutely awesome!

Absolutely awesome! Took our 2 kids (5&7 years old) and they absolutely loved Frameless! Especially when the art came to life right under their feet and reacted to their movements! An absolutely excellent visit and will definitely be back for more!

Safer to book through a ticket agent.

My daughter booked tickets direct from the venue for June this year. She is now having to have surgery and has been given the same date. She asked the venue to change the date for her visit but was told NO. She then asked for a refund. Again NO. If she had booked through an external ticket agent she would have got a refund..Be warned.

They charge a handling fee to take your money!

Far, far too expensive. £91 for me, my wife and young daughter. And this included a handling fee. Yes, really! I was charged a handling fee so they could take my money off me. (I paid by card, so they didn't actually need to handle any actual money).
The show was fine. Four halls, one was impressive - but I did feel scammed. £10 would have been fair, £15 expensive, but £33 per person (with a handling fee added on) was poor value.

Nice day out but could be better.

Nice day out but could be better.
I enjoyed the experience and for the price it was worth it but, I have had enough of going to such places and there are so many kids running around. It completely ruins the experience. There needs to be adult only slots as not everyone in the world wants to attend a children’s day out. It’s like parents just want to get kids out of their own hair and we have to suffer.
I’d possibly go again but avoid a weekend and hope it’s not a playground.

Huge disappointment!

Recently I received two Timeout Gift Vouchers for myself and my friend to go to Frameless. On the day we were booked to go my friend's little one year old son became sick and we couldn't go the exhibition. We were very disappointed as we both had been wanting to attend Frameless for a long time. Due to no refund or exchange policy, and due to unaffordability, we know we won't be able to go to the exhibition. We were also very disappointed that due consideration has not been given to those who are genuinely not able to attend.

Really cool use of projectors and…

Really cool use of projectors and sounds to create a fully immersive experience. There are 4 rooms in total, each showing about 20-25minute story where famous art and images come to live through animation and visual effects. Very cool and i would definitely recommend it.
