Booking was ok but it was not an unusual experience. I can describe it at an ordinary doing. The price were ok but sometimes not understandable high prices for a few days.

Super easy actually - i never used Freebirds website or app before, and it just worked nicely for a trip back to Berlin. So far all good. Price was also fair.

My son said 5 stars. But he is not so tall like me. But in general, everything was fine. We booked the 5h before departure.

My daughter and her partner had a flight leaving Newcastle on 17/09/25 unfortunately for them it was cancelled they were given no information on how long it was going to take for them to get to turkey after waiting 4hrs they decided to offer them a coach trip down to Leeds with no information on when the next flight was. They refused to get on the coach as they were already exhausted after waiting for hours to board their flight. My daughter has been in touch with you and tui regarding their experience. Yet nobody is taking responsibility for this? They were very upset their holiday has been ruined. I’ve told my daughter she will be seeking legal advice if this issue does not get resolved

I was booked on the Freebird flight from Newcastle to Dalaman on 17/09/25. Worst experience ever, and holiday completely ruined! A bird strike delayed the plane for 13.5 hours. From what I’ve read in another review, I was personally told by TUI staff that the flight was cancelled and that we wouldn’t be flying from Newcastle that day. They offered a coach to Leeds Bradford, but we turned it down, as I knew that would be another 6–7 hours of stress and still not guaranteed we’d be flying. We were offered a Jet2 flight at Newcastle but didn’t get chosen, as only a certain number of seats were available and people with disabilities and families were picked first, which is understandable. TUI and Freebird are blaming each other and refusing to help us get our money back. We will also be looking to take TUI to court if we don’t get refunded, I hope everyone that was meant to be on the same flight as us gets their money back too. Disgrace!

Flight from Newcastle to Dalaman on 17/9/25 at 10am didn’t fly as plane was needing repairs. It was a flight on behalf of TUI so we will take TUI to court if need be as Freebird are attempting to claim it was a bird strike. How many times can the same plane suffer a bird strike at the same airport and on the same flight path (there’s a review on here from 29/6/25 with same excuse ! . Freebird and tui blaming each other for putting us on a coach to the East Midlands for a flight we were never going to make before telling the driver to bring us back! 8 hours on a coach to nowhere ! No water onboard, no handwashing, no toilet roll , food or water provided for more than 12 hours ! Freebird are ignoring all customers. Disgusting service . 13.5 hour total delay and over 25 hours total time to get on holiday with no sleep

My Son and his partner were waiting for a flight from Newcl to Turkey, a bird strike hit the plane on arrival to Newcastle some passengers got put on another flight he was told he would have to travel to another airport by bus after the 10am had not went ahead. It transpires they are not to be reimbursed one penny. I think yous are an utter disgrace

The Airline damaged our buggy and reimbursement paid is just a fraction of the actual value even though all proof has been provided. The request of a detailed overview of the damage calculation has been neglected. Will take legal steps.

Booked a holiday to Turkey through TUI we paid TUI prices but that’s as much as TUI was involved. Flight out was okay the inflight service was offered twice and we didn’t see much of the crew after that.
Our return journey was not good, firstly we departed from gate 42 and had to board a shuttle bus this has to be one of the most horrendous experience I have ever had. It was 29 degrees and the air con apparently was not working, the bus was absolutely packed with people, the driver closed the doors and we were stood for ages on the bus, the heat was horrific I have never seen grown men beg for air. Fellow passengers were banging on the windows trying to catch the attention of the ground staff. I cannot express enough how horrible this was. Sweat was dripping off everyone, people feeling faint and sick. We managed to get the drivers attention but all he did was give us a thumbs down signal, I presume to tell us the air con was not working. What he and whoever was giving the instructions was nothing but cruel.
We eventually set off on the horrific transfer to gate 27 !!!! Where we boarded. Why send us to gate 42 when we could have boarded at gate 27 and not have being held in some torture chamber.
The flight took off and the inflight service was offered once and no coffee was available, apparently they had
none !! Never have I been on a flight that had no coffee, they hadn’t run out they just had none.
Again staff were not very present throughout the flight, they like to sit behind the closed curtain and actually make you feel a bit of a nuisance when you need the toilet at the front of the plane.
All in all we paid the TUI premium price and got a very budget airline.
Never again

Everything was good. Maybe you can give information about "check-in" after payment accepted.

Reply from Freebird Airlines
One person working the Check-in. And you didn't give me the option for an online ticket. Worst customer service ever. The person that checked me in must of been a descendant of a gestapo agent as he was the rudest person i've ever met and should work anywhere but customer service and I was not alone in this opinion.

Easy to book, good prices. Nice selection of extras with reasonable prices.

Get a bank loan prior to take off.
I bought 1 Jack Daniels and Coke, €19.
I should have read the menu price list!!!!
Extremely cramped seating. Not clean.
On the return I went for the more economical option of 2 sandwiches deal, usually €10 each, but for 2 a snip at €18, plus 2 cans of EFES for €12, so good value at €30.
This is for those that dont know, English ironic humour....
So I tried to pay the bill on 2 major UK bank Mastercards, their machine didn't take them.
So I gave them the only cash I had ten UK pounds in cash.
This was accepted, then the stewardess took back the one small can and one sandwich from my partner and said no money no food!!!
Luckily I had eaten mine while we were waiting for their accent card machine to work.
With the cabin staff's attitude i wouldn't have put it past them tonask for my sandwich back...however they would do that...
Avoid at all costs...
Next time I'd rather walk than fly Freebird
I call them Expensive bird!!

Food could be better, but everything else was realy great. Hope to see you soon again
