Following my first review about this…

Following my first review about this scammer company.
I am now confronted with another issue.

This is part of my first review.
“ Ordered electric scooter direct from FREEGO in China, paid +-800USD, waited 2 months for delivery, scooter seems to be used or showroom model, lots of scratches, paint job peeling but worst of all I paid for a scooter with a 500w drive motor but received a scooter with engraved indication on the motor of 250W.

Now am confronted with a motor that has 12km on the odometer and has broken down. For 8 months they have been to find me a solution to replace this motor but to no avail. They promise to check with supplier, then they tell me they don’t have this motor in stock because they no longer produce this model, then they tell me they have it in their warehouse in the US but they do not ship to Europe, now I am stuck with a scooter that cost me 800usd and no visible solution to get a replacement motor. They can’t even inform me of an alternative motor.

bad start = bad aftersales too

I had a truly terrible experience with Freego, the electric scooter company. The scooter I received was an absolute disaster from the get-go. First off, the telescopic adjustment was completely stuck, rendering it impossible to set the handlebars to a comfortable height. It's as if they didn't even bother with basic quality control.

Furthermore, the front headlamp on the scooter was barely hanging on. I couldn't trust it to light my way safely at night. It was a clear safety hazard, and it's shocking that Freego would even consider shipping out a product in such a shoddy condition.

But the worst part came when the battery died. When I reached out to their customer service for assistance, I was met with nothing but frustration. They claimed they needed photos of the battery to diagnose the issue. Fair enough, I provided them with the requested images. However, after that, I received absolutely no response. It's as if they simply vanished off the face of the earth.

To make matters worse, the sticker on the battery, which contains vital technical information, had been worn away. So not only did they sell me a faulty scooter, but they couldn't even be bothered to keep records of their own products!

In short, Freego is a company that provides subpar products and even worse customer service. I would strongly advise against anyone considering purchasing one of their scooters. Freego? More like Free-No-Go. Save your money and sanity by looking elsewhere for an electric scooter.

Scammer company - STAY AWAY

Scammer company, NEVER send money to them or to anyone in their company. If you're a business considering to import from these people, beware!

We were originally going to send over $120k+ USD, but only sent around $26k+ and they never respond to any emails, messages, nothing on AliBaba, nothing anywhere. The frustrating part is they read your messages on WhatsApp/Alibaba, but they don't respond.

I lost $26k+ trying to deal with this company, do not go into the same trap I did. Use the protection measures available to you, ONLY accept trades on Alibaba that have trade assurance, otherwise these people will take all the money and leave you with nothing.

Short story:
These guys seem knowledgeable and are very helpful to talk about your business and the plans, and how to install the scooters and how to set them up, but as soon as you pay they're gone, or they will pretend they can help and will arrange production, but then they don't give a crap.
