Looks good at first glance but terribly outdated site that's not moderated. It's free plus you can sell there though had no success despite it's coverage so will stick with Gumtree.
Today I have seen a dishwasher I need but link in email does not open then the main site is taking too long to load.Not a smart interactive site like Freegle.Many of the items are already taken by the time you see notifications. Waste of time when there are so many other active sites like Freegle Olio and Trash nothing.

Great site, good for finding new homes for stuff

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
it is a scam. They ask for your card details.
They then take £1 out but refund it.
The next day they try to take out £59.99!
Luckily my bank blocked it but I now have to replace my card!

Bad website, once items are taken (via another channel...), no possibility to mark them as taken. Website just does not function at a basic leve.

No unsubscrib which is no allowed in uk going to report them, also they want your credit card details on a site for free stuff. DO NOT GIVE BANK INFO ect TO THEM.
Again free stuff but want your credit card no no no.

Have in the past I have had success in recycling items on the free section of the website some were only on the site for a day when the were taken a good site for items that are no longer needed

Messages from people seeking to collect free items arrive in personal email, not via messageboard. They then ask for phone numbers. This should not be necessary. By the time they claim the item they can have a lot of your personal details - very fishy, and ripe for scammers.
Wish I had read the extremely long T & Cs first (packed with disclaimers) and I would have realised.

Terrible site. Gave it a go but am not impressed. I noticed someone giving away free piglets when their rules clearly specify no animals are to be offered. I emailed them on the 4th November and again on the 13th November with no reply. I guess they just couldn't be bothered. Trying to delete my account with no success yet. Freecycle is far superior site to this one.

Very poor website - outdated, doesn’t update properly. But worse than that is populated largely by disturbed time wasters - which the site does nothing to protect you from. Bottom line don’t waste your time unless you like dealing with disturbed people who will waste your time
