I was confused about the one week trial and wasn't aware that I had to notify them if I didn't want to purchase it. They show about billing but I was under the impression that I would have to order full cost if I wanted the gold version at $64.06. They basically told me that I owned it and cannot get a refund. I even mentioned that I would take a restocking charge of the software cost if that would work. They refused any refund and didn't offer any help. Be careful if you try any of their products because if you make an honest mistake you have lost your money. I will not order any of their software in the future and I am very dissapointed in their response to try and give me a pensioner 79 years old a break ! Lessoned learned because I can't even cancel a purchase ! I would like to add that my issue was resolved by freemake and I am very satisfied with their response to my issue. I have received a full refund on my purchase even the trial payment. This proves that they are a truly reputable company. Thank you Freemont !

I've been using freemake since 2021 and have made many DVDs from it and downloaded many YouTube videos. The other features I only use sporadically. The only problems I have had is them keeping their program up to date to handle new issues. Also my key went out of date at some point and they had to reactivate it. Other than that it's definitely worth the money that you would spend to purchase it. I would recommend it highly.

Ilove Freemake. Its easy to use and I can now enjoy Utube music any time I want it simply by downloading and having it kept on my computer for the future. When I had a problem installing it on my computer the team was there for me from the get go. They made sure I was fully satisfied. Thank you Freemake.

It wasn't clear to me that there was an automatic charge made by the company at the conclusion of a trial period. The company blew off my request for a refund. By the way the Invoice states the charge is for a "Lifetime" license. Which is billed EVERY THREE YEARS according to the next line on the invoice. Already cancelled future payments within PayPal. Proceed at your own risk.

I purchased a LIFETIME MEGAPACK. It quit working. I contacted Customer Service. This is their response:

First of all $9.95 is not a 90% discount of $59.95 ($5.99 would be). Secondly, LIFETIME means support to keep the software working.

Note that FreeMake stated in their response of my LIFETIME purchase "The old versions and key won't work." . This practice is unscrupulous and deceiving!! There are MANY reviews that address this problem. Someone should start a Class Action Lawsuit (if they haven't already)!

The program quality

I was having problems with my registered version of FreeMake. I reinstalled it on my PC. The helpdesk resolved it within a day. It's ideal for combining video files and separate subtitles (SRT files). Fantastic!

very slow download after 50% . Not worth the price.
