The test showed heavy iron in the water…
The test showed heavy iron in the water and other results to be aware of. My last blood test showed high iron. Wondering if there’s a definite correlation. I’ll research it.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

FreeTapTest.org provides eligible U.S. households with a mail-in tap water screening at no cost to the participant. Most homeowners rely on municipal reports or basic test strips, which offer limited insight into what is actually coming out of the tap inside a specific home. Our program offers a lab-processed alternative using a sample collected directly from the kitchen tap. Participants request a collection kit online, fill the sample bottle according to the included instructions, and return it by mail. Return shipping is not included and is the participant’s responsibility. Once the sample reaches the laboratory, it is screened across common water-quality markers including lead, nitrate, fluoride, iron, manganese, total dissolved solids, and hardness. Reports are typically delivered by email within 3 to 5 business days of the lab receiving the sample. Each marker is presented with its measured value, unit, and a benchmark comparison against health-based or aesthetic reference levels, so participants can see which results appear typical and which may warrant a closer look. The program is part of a broader residential water-quality awareness effort and is available in select areas, based on current capacity and household eligibility.
