Different from the website
I ordered a sidetable from the website which seemed classy & clean; first problem they changed the delivery time slot on the same day & when they missed me, no email or a call the next days to reschedule. Next problem is quite serious, the item i received (cream xolor woth gold) had some black spots all over that weren't visible on the website and when emailing the customer service they talk about "intentional distressing" to make the product "unique" & hence not fully refunding us because the product came as "expected".. I explained that it is not visible anywhere & different from the photo displayed in the website (which had no black spots and were lighter than the actual product so, for us, it was not expected to look like that)but they were indifferent & deducted money from the refund, i am very disappointed & do not recommend buying online from this website

Regarding the bedside table, this piece is intentionally hand-finished with a distressed crackle patina designed to give character and variation, meaning natural markings and tonal differences are an inherent part of the design. This finish is consistent across the collection and was assessed as being in line with the product specification, as well as being in line with what is displayed on the free samples that we offer.
As the item was returned for preference rather than fault, a standard returns charge was applied in line with our published terms. While we regret that the finish was not to your taste, we remain confident in the craftsmanship and quality of the piece.
We appreciate you sharing your experience and will continue to review both our delivery communication and product presentation to ensure expectations are as clear as possible.

Great customer service and beautiful furniture. We had a great experience with French Bedroom Furniture. We had a couple of issue with slightly damage furniture after we recived. But this wasn't too much trouble. Their customer service especially Connor couldnt do enough to amend. Once sorted we order some additional pieces to complete the set. Connor made sure exchange and delivery went really smoothly. The quality and design of furniture is fantastic.

On 12 November 2025 I ordered a bed…
On 12 November 2025 I ordered a bed that was in stock with delivery time shown to be only a few days. I chose this company because I liked the look of the beds and read the glowing reviews. After a few days I had not heard anything about delivery and phoned the company to ask if I could retrospectively add the 'white glove' service to my order. Later that day I received a phone call to say that there was a problem with my order: the bed was not in stock but if I could wait they would not charge me for assembling the bed. From that day on there was problem upon problem. Just before Christmas I was told that the bed could be delivered, but unfortunately it was then scheduled for the one day that I could not be at home because I had to meet friends at the airport (I had mentioned this during a telephone conversation). The next scheduled delivery was cancelled because of an 'adverse weather warning' (not the company's fault), and the bed was eventually delivered on 16 January (approximately 2 months later than originally promised), but it was missing two legs so could not be assembled. There were various telephone conversations between me and The French Bedroom Company and the delivery company. The bed could not be assembled, and the delivery men, who were very courteous, needed to leave to keep to their schedule. At this point all I had been told was that the legs could be sent up to me by post, but my bedroom was in chaos, and there was no way I would be able to assemble the bed by myself. I was offered no further compensation for all the chaos and inconvenience, or for the fact that I would potentially have to employ someone to help me assemble the bed. In the end, under pressure from the delivery company to make a decision, I had to refuse the delivery and the bed was taken away. I requested a refund from The French Bed Company, but I am still sleeping on a mattress on the floor.
On a positive note I can say that you can actually speak to someone relatively easily when you phone the company, and Tom who I spoke to the first time I called, and Connor who dealt with the matter thereafter were both as helpful as they could be and always courteous. It is a great shame that I had this very negative experience and I was very disappointed not to have been offered anything in the way of compensation for all the trouble it has caused. Had I been offered a discount at the end of all this I would have kept the bed, waited for the legs and employed someone to help me assemble it.

Beautifully packaged quality fabric
Beautifully packaged - it felt like a gift! I've only opened one pillowcase so I can save the unwrapping of the rest of the bedding for when the bedroom is decorated ready for it. From what I've seen, the quality is absolutely fabulous.

Firstly Thank you! I absolutely love my purchases. The bed linen is gorgeous. My Fur throw is also lovely, however due to price, as I was expecting it to be more plush and thicker looking than it is. However it does look lovely on my bed so I have kept it. Also I was in the market for new cushions too, but as a Vegan, I was unable to purchase from you, as you only seem to have feathered cushions. Might be nice to consider luxury microfibre cushion pads too! Thank for a lovely shopping experience overall. :0)

Beautiful Bed, Outstanding Service!
We absolutely love our Lovestory Cocoon Mole Velvet bed. It is stunningly beautiful and clearly built to last, featuring high-quality wood and excellent craftsmanship.
The service from French Bedroom was phenomenal. From the personal phone call to confirm our order and delivery details to the lovely surprise of complimentary pillowcases, the customer care was a wonderful touch.
The only reason this isn’t a 5/5 rating is the packaging. The foam/tape used on the headboard left imprints on the velvet nap that, unfortunately, cannot be brushed out.
Despite that minor issue, I highly recommend French Bedroom. Their products are high-quality, and their customer service is truly amazing.
