French Level Up helps English speakers turn the French they understand into French they can actually speak, and reach B2 by the date that matters to them. If you follow conversations but freeze when it’s your turn, or if your citizenship or residency file needs a B2 certificate, this is for you. Since 1 January 2026, French citizenship requires B2, so guessing your level is no longer an option. Here’s what you get: A clear answer. A B2 readiness assessment tells you where you stand and what’s missing, with a written plan you can act on straight away. A plan built around your deadline. Whether you’re sitting the DELF, TCF or DALF, or preparing a citizenship file, your preparation works back from your exam date. Lessons about your life. Sessions use your work, your interests and the situations you actually face, so the French you learn is French you will use. Real speaking time. Small groups with only a few places, or one-to-one sessions, so you speak in every lesson instead of listening to others. Support between sessions. Questions answered by email or WhatsApp, and feedback on what you write and record. Lessons that fit your schedule. Everything happens online, wherever you live. What changes for you: you sit your exam knowing you’re ready, you stop switching to English halfway through a sentence, and you can hold your own at a dinner party, at the school gate or in a meeting. Not sure where to start? Book a free call or take the B2 readiness assessment, and find out exactly what stands between you and your goal.

Finally feeling confident speaking French

I’ve tried group classes and Preply, but French Level Up has made a real difference. The lessons are well structured and focused. I’m much more confident speaking French now, and I’m starting to have conversations I wouldn’t have dared to have before. Yann is also a really nice guy, which makes the sessions enjoyable. Highly recommended, especially if you’re working towards an exam like the DALF C1!
