I subsequently tried another more realistic lender and the money was in my account within three days. Unlike Freo, they contacted me to talk through my financial situation.

Unfortunately i have a negative experience with this company , i made a 15k loan request, and while I am debt free ! With a full work contract and good salary-+4k / month , own house, car, and good savings (more then the loan requested) , my request was denied without good reason, I had before loans with other companies that I payed back sooner and never skipped a bill ! Dificult and long process for a small loan! I DON'T RECOMMEND this company!

I was failed to do the payment due to lack of funds. They have initiated calls to my phone list and started abusing them to pay my pendings. when i questioned they did same to me. they have started to saying me to use my KYC photo for sexual abuse purpose and intimating the thing to make it worst. I have lost my all senses, is it really worth? It's really a scam, harshful.

Not professional, bad organization, in a false vest of politically correct.
And I don t tell this cause I had not the loan from them cause
1) I got in 7 days from their concurrency
2 )I canceled myself my application cause was really fed up .
Even my employer was scandalized about their absurd requests and narrow mind.
Absolutely not to advice.
I had every time to explain all to different people, they were not even able to find the application even accusing me to not provide the documents requested (call are registered so is all VERY clear). It is not a surprise that the bad recensione are more than the good ones.
Never saw people working SO bad.

After 2 weeks and After me and my wife opened all r personal accounts and data to them they replied that a load of 17.000 is not going to be granted. We already have this money in our accounts and they can see it. The monthly payment was set to 300 euros and we can pay way more than that with our salaries but we wanted to make it a surely payment without risks. Unfortunately they delayed us 2 weeks just to reject us like we asked to get a mortgage from them. Very bad experience. Rabobank should not be partners with them.

In my personal experience freopay is a totally fraud cheater application please don't download this application for any loan or use pay later please take strong legal action immediately against this app if anyone suffering with any issues from freopay application 3rd class worst application

It took them more than one week to answer that I don't get a loan. After deduction of all regular monthly costs, I have still more than 2000 Eur left and they did not want to give me a loan with a monthly rate of 300 Eur. On the phone I got the answer that it is not because of my financial situation but because my wife is living in Germany. This reason sounds for me a bit like discrimination, in particular as my wife's income was not considered at all (my income alone is sufficient to cover all costs and there is still the above mentioned money remainin). In the end, I found another solution, if they don't want to earn money, someone who knows how business works gets it...

Application with Freo has been super simply , document submission was done in few mins - no need of any manual signing . Website well maintained . I contacted their customer service through Whatsapp and also via phone and the waiting time was very minimal .
It took me less than a week to get the personal loan approved and deposited in my account.

The process was frustratingly slow and inefficient. The call center staff could only relay limited information and frequently needed to consult supervisors, leading to callbacks. The document delivery system was buggy and prone to crashes, which added delays—waiting ten days for the initial phone call was particularly trying. The amount of financial information required was extensive, covering all personal and my wife's banking details and mortgage data, with constant requests for additional information. This all feels like a privacy scam or maybe some other reasons that made them unable to loan money at that moment. They could have seen my reserves I had more than plenty.
Ultimately, my application was denied based on a single 20 euro transaction on a house rental website, as they suspected a change in my housing situation which they felt could affect my long-term financial stability. Despite my sufficient income and savings, no alternative loan options were allowed. If I was Freo, I would haved asked why I was asking for a loan since there was even more than enough on my account. This experience was needlessly stressful and made me question the integrity and customer service quality of the institution. The interaction with the staff was consistently unfriendly.
Before posting this I shared my feedback with Freo, they basically came back with "thank you for the feedback" and that was that. No actions taken.
In the end I did not need the loan anyway, I was just afraid my financial reserves would go under my minimum limit for a couple of months.
Given that Freo operates under Rabobank's contract, it reflects poorly on Rabobank as well. This ordeal has significantly diminished my trust in their services as well.

I should have trusted the bad reviews and not bothered applying.
I applied and got a callback with a ton of questions examining each line of my bank account.
I have been taking a papadag (parental leave day) once a week, this is partially paid during the first year. I explained to the person that going forward it would be unpaid and so my salary would decrease. Instead of taking this reduction into account they claim that because I take a papadag my salary is unreliable and that they cannot consider it for the loan at all, therefore my application is rejected. Unbelievable that a Dutch lending company is unable to take into account such a normal thing in the Netherlands. My partner also takes a mamadag and has payslips reflecting her adjusted salary, but unfortunately because she takes a mamadag that is apparently also unreliable and cannot be considered a stable income.
In summary, if you are a parent and make use of parental leave this provider will reject you because you have an "unreliable" income.
I will consider appealing the decision but what a troublesome process. I was already approved for another loan but considered taking one with freo as it claimed a lower interest rate but what a pain to get the loan.

Went through the process for a 25.000 euro loan, delivered the requested documents, they indicated the loan was possible with a small duration adjustment. I agreed to this, after the entire process they told me I could not get a loan for 25.000 euro and suggested a far lower and useless amount. Wasted two weeks of my time with sending documents for nothing.

I did had my initial interview, I send in all the required documents, then I had another call where your colleague discussed extended the duration and which additional documents they needed, after that I had a call where the loan amount was severely reduced, the person on the phone had no explanation for me since it was an automated process... So your reply is pretty useless
