I just returned from the Puglia and Amalfi Coast trip with Angelo as our Trip Leader, and it was INCREDIBLE!

Angelo was an absolute delight! Not only is he from Puglia so he was filled with knowledge, but his connections with the hotels/activities staff/etc were unparalleled. Everywhere we went, it felt like he was the mayor, and we were always treated with warmth and hospitality! He truly has a way of connecting with anyone he meets and creating memorable moments.

During the trip, Angelo consistently went ABOVE AND BEYOND for each individual person, noting when someone was interested in site or finding a certain souvenir, which he would ensure happened. He fostered a positive and inclusive group dynamic with a dash of humor, which made everyone comfortable and content.

As a Trip Leader, he was 5 STARS, simply the BEST! I would honestly go anywhere in the world with him again as I know the trip would be full of laughs, interesting information/sites, and a personalized experience despite being in a group of 16. Thank you, <3 Angelo!

Just returned from my trip with FLTO in the Amalfi Coast & Puglia, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. I have gone on other group tours in the past, and FTLO was vastly superior to all of my other experiences by a huge margin.

The itinerary was perfectly planned, giving us a great overview of the Puglia region as well as the beautiful Amalfi coast. Every aspect of the tour was top notch: from perfectly picked high quality hotels (like the breathtaking view in Sorrento, or the amazing experience of the ‘cave’ hotel in Metera), flawless transportation, plentiful amounts of some of the best Italian food at all the included meals, and multiple genuine local experiences (like the incredible cooking class evening in Lecce or the unforgettable lunch at a family-run restaurant in Capri) that really made you connect with the region and the people. This was truly a 5 star experience.

But what makes this experience so special more than anything, was our guide Angelo. I cannot even begin to describe how much passion, dedication, and care he had for all of our travellers to make sure that we had an experience of a lifetime! Angelo made us feel completely at home in his country, sharing all of his knowledge and history about the areas we were travelling, and tips and tricks to help us navigate the places we visited. In every aspect, Angelo ensured that our trip ran perfectly smoothly, we had no stress, and were able to enjoy every aspect of the tour without worry. He truly went above and beyond to get to know each and every traveller and ensure that we had the perfect experience for a week in Italy. His warm personality, care and dedication, plentiful humour, and close relationships with the local tour guides/drivers/hotel staff really made this trip one of the most memorable I have been on.

It is because of Angelo that I will absolutely be booking my next FTLO trip! Thank for your all your hard work and for giving us a fantastic experience in Amalfi and Puglia!

Angelo was a fantastic guide. He was on top of every detail and kept the vibe of the group positive at all times. Everything went very smoothly and was as advertised.

I just got back from the Portugal trip and the first half was amazing! Lots to do and planned for a well guided experience (which is why I personally choose this company). The second half was alright, with in my opinion too much free time. I was able to enjoy the second half of the trip mainly due to our trip leader Isabel. As she was always prepared with suggestions on things to do, places to eat and accompanying us on the side quests we had to plan ourselves. There are some amazing things the second area had to offer that weren’t included in the itinerary and defeated the purpose of why I choose FTLO when traveling. But thanks to Isabel she went above and beyond bridging the gap that I hope FTLO fills next time as the trip over all was good. The experience Portugal has to offer is way more than what was planned but thankfully I was able to experience it through the guidance of our trip leader Isabel and travel partners in the group.

The Amalfi Coast tour is truly the trip of a lifetime, and I can’t imagine a better guide than Angelo. This tour gives you the opportunity to explore several regions of Italy, including unique and historic towns.

Wherever we went, Angelo had built strong relationships with restaurant owners, transportation providers, and hotel staff, ensuring we received exceptional service throughout the trip. He plans ahead and is thoughtful about every detail, making sure each traveler has what they need and that the group moves through the itinerary as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

Throughout the journey, Angelo shared helpful context about regional differences, historical facts, and even practical tips on restaurant etiquette and ordering food. He goes above and beyond.

Travel with Angelo, and you’ll be in excellent hands. His passion for Italy and his commitment to creating a meaningful travel experience shine through in every moment.

What makes Angelo especially memorable is his ability to turn strangers into friends through humor, shared experiences, and genuine connection. That gift is truly special.

I joined the Turkey FTLO trip in June 2026
and it was an amazing experience. I was surprised how packing 4 locations in 9 days didn’t feel stressful. We saw a lot of sights and ate delicious foods. I truly loved our guide, Feyza. She made everyone feel welcomed and her calm and cheery demeanor really added my overall trip experience. She was helpful in solving some minor mishaps as well so the trip could go smoothly.

Small feedback, I wished FTLO provided a better estimate on how much cash we needed during our trip and that a lot of places asked for tip in cash instead of adding to our bill. I found myself having to go to the ATM more than I anticipated. As well, the trip description for activities to do during our stay in Sirince was false. The closest activity was an hour away where it would’ve been difficult to get to since we were up in the mountains and secluded. We basically had a pool day since we couldn’t go anywhere. I wished we only did one night in Sirince and then left for Bodrum. Then the boat day on day 7 so we can relax on day 8 before flying out on Day 9.

100 stars!!! I would follow Angelo from FTLO anywhere in the world. He made us feel completely at home, sharing all of his knowledge about Puglia and the Amalfi Coast throughout the trip. He was the absolute best person to have around because not only had he lived in the area, but he was also incredibly passionate, outgoing and attentive. Angelo radiated positivity and made everything seem effortless, even while working tirelessly behind the scenes. He truly made this trip life-changing!!
Words can not accurately describe my unforgettable experience. This was my first FTLO trip and first solo trip. I can’t wait to book another one!

Angelo was the MOST incredible guide EVER for our trip to the Amalfi Coast and Puglia! He was so informative about Italy with its culture, offering so many incredible opportunities for us to see. I can’t wait to come back one day !!!

This was my first experience with FTLO. I had heard about FTLO through a friend of mine who’s traveled with FTLO many times and had nothing but good things to say. My trip was to southern Italy, and I really feel like I experienced & learned a lot about Italy. Our tour leader Angelo provided such a comforting and inviting atmosphere and did such a phenomenal job being an anchor to all 16 of us. It truly felt like I was traveling with a friend, and there was no judgment or pressure if you wanted to do more, or have a relaxing night. I highly highly recommend (10/10) traveling with FTLO, especially with Angelo, an angel!

I just returned home from my favorite trip with FTLO and overall any trip! Every detail was perfectly thought out along with many additional optional activities/recommendation. Our guide Angelo told us at the welcome dinner “this week you just have to show up”. I took it with a grain of salt, but I quickly realized he MEANT that to its full capacity! By far the best trip leader around. Thank you for a wonderful week, FTLO & Angelo!

This was my second time traveling with FTLO, and once again it was an incredible experience! The trip was the perfect mix of exploring beautiful destinations and having time to relax and enjoy at a comfortable pace.

Some of the highlights were the unique experiences that made the trip so memorable, especially the boat ride in Capri, thermal bath in Matera and olive oil tasting at Ciriello. These were the kinds of activities that allowed us to truly experience the local culture and create lasting memories.

A huge part of what made this trip so successful was Angelo. He was incredibly organized, beyond helpful, and always made sure everything ran smoothly. More importantly, he brought so much fun and energy to the group that he elevated the entire experience. Angelo truly makes the trip what it is, and his enthusiasm and dedication did not go unnoticed.

I would absolutely travel with FTLO again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-planned, fun, and memorable travel experience.

This was my first FTLO trip and I truly could not have asked for anything better. Puglia and the Amalfi Coast are must-see areas, but our host, Angelo, made them magical. From specially-curated experiences and recommendations while on trip to helping us coordinate for our travels after the trip’s end, he provided an amazing adventure for us and allowed us to not worry about anything! Highly recommend this trip for anyone looking to explore Italy in a way that is unique, exciting, and well-coordinated.

I just finished my first FTLO trip in Puglia and the Amalfi coast. It was also my first solo trip as well as my first European trip. I could not have asked for a better experience as a new traveler! Specifically speaking, our trip guide, Angelo, is what truly made this trip special. He is so knowledgeable, kind, and hilarious. He helped make this trip one I will never forget. Thank you Angelo!! I wish he could be my forever tour guide to the world. The trip was seamless and my only responsibility was to show up and have fun. EVERY meal we had was absolutely delicious and special. Thank you for an amazing experience! I will for sure be doing another trip through FTLO!

Had a wonderful inaugural trip to Sevilla/Mallorca with Jordana! The locations were beautiful. I really loved the wine tasting in Ronda and food tour in Mallorca. I also loved the beach club in Mallorca. I absolutely fell in love with Mallorca! All the beaches and water. All the hotels were honestly pretty nice. Jordana truly went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time.

Some things I would change — the itinerary was a bit packed, especially in Mallorca. We needed more time to unwind at the beach and chill. Also, there was a boat day as part of the initial itinerary but it got switched. However, not having a boat day in a place like Mallorca was pretty disappointing.

Overall though, amaazing trip, would recommend! Get to see some of the less popular (but no less beautiful) parts of Spain.

I really enjoyed my trip to Scotland & Ireland guided by Maddy! She was great at finding restaurants, guiding us around the cities & making sure that everyone was safe. FTLO is very well organized & there were no details about the trip that I was in the dark on.

I just completed my seventh trip with FTLO, to the Philippines, this time, and once again, it didn't disappoint! The trip was very well-planned and everything went off without a hitch. It always blows my mind how much FTLO fits into a single day and still leaves you wanting more. It was the most physically active trip I've been on and I was tired by the end of it, but it was nothing short of enjoyable!

What sets FTLO apart from other companies is it's willingness to go off the beaten path. You get to see more of a country, a side of it you can't get from other experiences. It makes it truly unique and worth the money. On top of it all, the food is always top-tier and the accommodations are always best-in-class. This Philippines trip, in particular doesn't require travelers to spend too much of their own money to get the most out of. No matter where you go, your safety is taken seriously, and nobody's ever left hanging or to figure things out on their own devices.

The trip leader, Lish, was the consummate professional, while also very much being a part of the crew! She not only addressed all concerns - of which there were few - but she was also an absolute joy to be around. One of the best things about FTLO trips is how the trip leaders become your friends as much as anyone else.

I can't wait for my next FTLO adventure!

I few weeks ago I went on an FTLO trip to Croatia and the experience would have been the same without our trip leader, Hrvoje (aka Henry).
He made everyone feel comfortable right away, which isn’t easy when you’re bringing together a group of people who have never met. There was never a moment where things felt awkward. He fit in with the rest of us so seamlessly.
What stood out most was how much he truly cared. Not just about logistics or keeping things on track, but about each person having a good experience. He paid attention to the small things, checked in when it mattered, and somehow balanced being organized while still making everything feel relaxed and fun.
Being local also made such a difference. His recommendations felt genuine and you could tell he wanted us to experience Croatia in a way that felt real, not just like tourists moving through an itinerary.
By the end of the trip, it felt less like we had a trip leader and more like we were traveling with a friend.
I’m grateful to have had him leading our group!

FTLO's Philippines trip was a truly magical experience! The local guides at every activity made us feel so cared for, and our trip leader Lish was absolutely incredible. Every day unlocked unreal adventures, like watching the glittering sardine run swirl around the coral at sunset. What a trip, would HIGHLY recommend!

The Barcelona/Nice trip was excellent! Jordana is an excellent guide - this is my second FTLO trip with her and she always brings such great energy and enthusiasm.

I had a wonderful experience on my FTLO Italy trip. The food was incredible, the architecture was stunning, and the itinerary struck a great balance between planned activities and free time.

Our trip, Eleonora, leader was sweet, organized, and genuinely supportive throughout the trip. I especially appreciated that she never pressured anyone to participate in activities they weren't interested in and always made sure we had plenty of opportunities to explore on our own.

The group dynamic was also great, most of the travelers were friendly, welcoming, and fun to spend time with. FTLO did an excellent job communicating before and during the trip, and it was clear that they genuinely care about creating a memorable experience for their travelers.

Overall, it was a fantastic way to experience Italy, and I would absolutely travel with FTLO again.
