Great food, greater amount of money

The food was amazing, no denying that! The location was also good in terms of ease of transportation and the venue wasn’t too packed full of people. My main problem is the price of the entry fee which was £37 and then you had to pay a pretty large amount for a pretty tiny portion of food. Of course some stools were more “generous” than others. But paying £15-£20 for basically a snacking bite of food is a bit much considering the entry fee also, The water was £3, which was the only place you can get water, but at least they had free refilling stations throughout the venue. I just think that for the price I payed for everything they could of thrown in a few freebies or discounted items/snacks just to feel more appreciated. They had live music and talks with notable BBQing people, which I thought is a nice edition to the event.

Even 1 star is generous...

The whole 'festival' is just a money grabbing scam. Sold far too many tickets, which made the entire area packed with no where to even sit or stand. The vendors were very basic and even ran out of some of the items during the first session.

The people behind it are now deleting social media comments that complain, and are refusing to actually acknowledge the issue.

Money grabbers

Sold thousands of tickets for a small venue with a few stands. Queued 30-45 mins each stand. Made the £3 dishes pointless as you'd been able to get just a few in your time slot. Waste of time and effort. Avoid at all costs.

Avoid at all costs

Absolutely shocking experience. £29 entry fee, queue 30mins for food to be told they have sold out (no signs to warn you) then another 20mins to collect the food you waited 30mins queuing for. Massively overcrowded with far too many people and terrible toilet facilities. All in all an absolutely dreadful experience for a “festival” that you pay £30 to enter. Money grabbers

Poor considering the anticipation

Poor considering the anticipation, hype and cost, long queues for food and drink, no real taster menus (if there was you wouldn’t want to queue for 20-30 mins each time to try the dish) so you were full after a dish or two. What we ate was ok but the long queues for beer and food just took the fun away from it all. The venue was too small and there wasn’t enough food trucks. Music was good and staff were super friendly..
