Just watched SI joint, Hip and Knee Webinar. This was absolutely fantastic as something very real to me after having a LHR at 30yrs of age in 2017. I train with Charell in Sydney who has such a wealth of knowledge through experience and education. I couldn't recommend her highly enough. You made a great choice to get her to speak and would love to see more of you both together.

Fascinating series of live streams, a true anatomy eye opener. Brings home what it is we do as therapists and how things are not always what or where we learn them to Bev Rom text books.

I have been following Julian's live online dissections from the start and it has been an exciting and amazing journey for me. Julian is so generous with his time, his knowledge and expertise. I have learnt so much and it has changed the way I teach my clients.

I have attended many dissection classes with him in many places. I attended the live stream during the first lockdown, which was wonderful, it left you wanting more. Julian delivered!!
The 12 day live stream dissection Julian has just finished has been life changing. It has the added benefit of being able to stop the recording and do a movement, and to feel the tissues or look up in an anatomy book what you are seeing. Julian’s knowledge of the human form is endless, and very different from clinical dissection. He presents his classes with passion and enthusiasm that is infectious. As an ex professional ballet dance and Pilates teacher, it is wonderful to FEEL what is happening on screen. I would like to say this is a wonderful way to look at the body to help our clients move without pain. It teaches you to look at clients moving and the whole body in a very different way.
Julian’s knowledge was flowing out of him, almost without taking breath for the whole 12 days. It is the best value for money you could possibly have, and to be able to assess the recording whenever one needs to is priceless. I could not speak of him higher. I have watched every dissection webinar since Julian started them from the first lockdown. What a fabulous way to learn and so informative on so many things. To ask questions throughout and have answers immediately with things that you have always wondered after many years of being a therapist. I will continue to learn with Julian and support him as he is giving us all the most amazing opportunity anybody could ever have. I so wish doctors and surgeons opened their eyes up more to this fascinating world underneath our skin.

I’m on day 6 of Julian Baker’s most recent class - he is such an amazing teacher of anatomy and the fascial components and it’s a delight to watch him in action. These presentations have changed my entire concept of what I’m doing when I’m in the treatment room massaging clients. He infuses vast amounts of information with witty remarks and an effervescent presentation style, which makes the time pass quickly and the info implant into my memory at such a higher retention rate. I will be recommending this course to every therapist I know.

My experience with watching the live dissections has changed my understanding of the body to a massive extent. It has influenced how I teach Pilates and how I conduct body work on clients, making me rethink what I thought I knew. If these sessions don't make you question your knowledge, challenge what you thought you knew and change your mindset for the better, nothing will.

Julian and his team bring an honest and real approach to learning anatomy. Follow Julian with multiple camera angles giving you the best seat in the house, as he explores the cadavers in real-time. So it is not a scripted dissection, but a journey into how everyday life leaves it marks on our muscles and tissues. As well indepth knowledge of the human body, the team bring a sense of humour to their work, whilst being extremely respectful to the cadavers. Can't recommend this highly enough.

I am in the first week of Julian's dissection course and it is amazing! Thoroughly recommend this to any fellow physical or manual therapist......in fact to anyone who wants a true understanding of what our anatomy looks like beneath the skin. The text books do not represent it well at all.

Julian's Functional Anatomy livestream dissection, recordings of those dissections and membership resources are total game changers! Wow, I can't say enough good things about my experience with Functional Anatomy but here's a snippet of my thoughts:

In the past I have participated in a multi-day in-person cadaver dissection and it was a phenomenal learning experience but it had it's drawbacks:
1. It was prohibitively expensive
2. I had take a week off of work
3. I had to travel to the medical site
4. It was, quite frankly, way too tedious for me

Personally, I felt I got the most value when I wandered the dissection lab and I was able to lean in to listen and observe the interesting discoveries that the more seasoned anatomists were discovering. The problem I had with observing during live dissection was that a) I was needed on my dissection team and b) It was nearly impossible to a good view and c). If you missed the "aha" moment, it was gone forever :(

With Julian's dissections, you've always got the best seat in the house due to his five high-def cameras and medical microscope!
I can't overstate how incredible the quality of these videos is. Every nook and cranny is unbelievably clear. No great moments are lost.
Another bonus was that I was able to I log off to meet with clients.
I enjoyed being able to cue up the replays to review the highlight moments and whatever else I might've missed while at work.

Additionally, the live theater of watching Julian and his team dissect and teach in real-time was as educationally interesting as it was organically entertaining.

Also important to note: As a remote livestream participant, I was able to connect and participate via the live chat and Julian was quick to address and respond to chat questions, which was impressive, as he's managing scalpels, body fluids, five cameras, his team and the live chat!

Julian's tour of the body is a relational perspective which he consistently relates back to movement and bodywork and I found his commentary and perspective enormously value-added.

If you're a movement pro or body worker, membership on Functional Anatomy is going to finally get you the anatomical understanding that text books and rote learning could never provide.
The library is jam-packed with videos covering everything from pelvic floor to fascia to neurology, including special workshops with other pros.

Having qualified as a Bowen therapist, I have started the on line dissection and functional anatomy course. Wow!!! It changes everything and I’m only 3 days in. I now approach my Bowen with a renewed perspective and although hands are on, my mind is within the body. I am rethinking everything I thought I knew about health, fitness and strength.
Julian is an absolute star and really knows his stuff. It’s not boring and scripted and is done with such an open and progressive mindset. I fully recommend his courses and I’m so grateful that I have found his college and his version of anatomy.

Julian's live dissection is a 'true' complete insight into the human form allowing a deeper understanding of a human body for anyone who teaches movement or is a bodyworker. Most of the 'structures' and relationships are not in standard anatomy books
Julian is a genius at unravelling complicated areas and showing the relationships to the whole body. Julians wisdom & humour with greatest respect for the donors makes his dissections a very enriching experience

On the third day of a two week dissection course absolutely brilliant. Julian is an excellent teacher and his passion for exploration of the working of the human body and functional movement is very apparent. A touch of humour and banter just adds to the course. Wasn’t sure that online training would convey the feel of the dissection room but with multiple cameras and microscope view get a far superior view and live chat facility to pose questions which get answered during the sessions

Utterly exceptional dissections. Julian is so thorough, detailed and demonstrates phenomenal expertise. I would highly recommend the live stream labs. The respect he demonstrates towards the donors is also heartening to see. Incredible.

Julian is an amazing teacher! I've learnt so much from the webinars and the live stream, and it's superb that I can go back to it at any time. Taking part in the dissection class last year was a life changing landmark. Much gratitude, keep up the good work!

This class was and is amazing and has given me a greater look at what I'm doing as far as treating my clients. I have wanted to attend a dissection workshop for a very long time. There have been a number of factors which stood in the way, not least my doubt as to whether I would actually be 'ok' with the experience. Julian's webinars make anatomy very accessible. His teaching style is relaxed and questioning, he asks you to think about what you see and not to make definitive assumptions or accept everything to be as you previously knew it.
Most off us will never see anatomy presented in this way and for me, all of Julian's webinars have been invaluable. I now have a much wider understanding of how the body's structures fit together. I feel sure I will be a better practitioner because of it.
Julian is respectful of his donors and their families at all times and recognises the gift they bestow upon us in our journey to learn. You will never regret taking this opportunity.

It was a fascinating experience the view the world of fascia, muscles and other soft tissues from the lens of Julian Baker. His depth of knowledge is bottomless. His perspective of commonplace aspects of human body is so unique that anybody listening to him cannot be but mesmerized.

Great to look at the body, how it really is to see its interconnection. Should be a must for any body work. Seeing parts is interesting and informative but to see the whole is helpful to every person coming to us to find pain relief and the freedom to function at their best.
