Before FP

Before FP, I was dealing with years of knee, shoulder and back pain after years of martial arts and baseball. Working in restaurants and at a desk after that compounded these issues and couldn’t find any relief using yoga, traditional weightlifting and other methods like animal flow etc.

Now living pain free, athleticism matches that of when I was still playing sports and looking forward to my 30’s being an upward trend

FP has completely changed my life.

FP has completely changed my life.

It took me from a broken anxious injured person and helped me become more functional in every way.

I’m more athletic have no pain and enjoy my life more then ever before.

Functional Patterns gave me a roadmap to a sunstainable body and life overall.

I was a rock climber supplementing my climbing with calisthenics for around 6 years. I found Functional Patterns while looking for ways to break free from the plateaus I was hitting in both discipline. Supplements, plenty of "stabilizers" exercises, professional treatments were part of my life.

After 2 years of only doing FP, I can now say that the methodology has given me a solid roadmap to a sustainable low maintenance body (no supplements or whatever form of therapy). It also helped me address my social anxiety and other behaviours that were detrimental to my health.

No more plateaus too, only functional gains!

Functional Patterns is training like no other!

I came to Functional Patterns from a background in body building style training and a large dose of scepticism as to whether I could reduce my pain. No other person I had seen had managed to fix my dysfunctions. Within months I was painfree and moving better and now 2.5+ years on, the experience has been so life changing in so many ways (removing addictions and reducing anxieties amongst them) that I became a Practitioner so that I could also help others to greatly improve their lives as I have done. Nothing comes close to the results I have experienced personally from FP!

Highly Recommend

Through training with a Functional Patterns practitioner, I have been seen many benefits. We have been able to get rid of lower back and neck pain, improve posture, get my muscles to activate more fully and integrated, and overall move better.

Scoliosis & FP

I’ve had scoliosis since I was 12, and tried every therapy or practice out there to try to figure it out. At 25 years old I came across FP and within the first week my major pains were relieved. I’ve been doing it for 2 years and my back is less compressed and I rarely experience pain even though my curve is severe. FP gave me hope and a blueprint to figuring out my body.

I gained 25 lbs of muscle and hydration…

I gained 25 lbs of muscle and hydration in the 1st year of practicing functional patterns. Prior to FP I had been dealing with chronic pain for years, having reached my lowest weight ever after combatting inflammation through excessive fasting. FP has given me the tools to troubleshoot problems with my faulty movement patterns, and has gotten me out of debilitating chronic pain. At 38 years old I’m now 2 1/2 years in and I continue to explore movements that were completely inaccessible to me in my youth.

I’m a client of FP for the last 10…

I’m a client of FP for the last 10 weeks, doing the online program and seeing a practitioner. I’ve gone from never leaving the house in pain to concerts, walking the dogs and going to work. Im still not 100% but I’ve made major progress with my chronic pain issues with low back pain/ SI. I recommend this to anyone that wants to move better or are in chronic pain and needing a shot at a better tomorrow.

chronic myofascial pain

I was diagnosed with chronic myofascial pain syndrome & for seven years while navigating my career in Apple Retail I tried everything I could possibly find to better understand my situation and figure out how to fix it. Everything was pain management except for FP. FP gave me my vitality back and the tools to fix my problems at the root cause. I can’t recommend FP enough. The community of trainers worldwide & the team at HQ are passionate individuals who have navigated their own situations and are great resources of knowledge and support.

Increased athleticism, more confident

I have had a great experience with Functional Patterns. Started with the Power of Posture book and these concepts helped with my lower back pain.

I have bought both courses and equipment from FP. After dedicating time to working on my biomechanics and following the protocols put forward by FP I am now building muscle and I feel more athletic.

I am also feeling much more confident and my anxiety is under control. I believe this is because I have improved my posture.

You won’t regret getting in to FP…

Such a unique way of rehabilitating from injury and poor lifestyle habits. These courses are a real eye opener and will have you pain free in no time at all. This is an unrivalled system and you only have to look at the many, many before and afters to see that this system really works. Once you’ve put the work in and you’re pain free, the ongoing training to build upon good foundations is outstanding.

I've been doing FP for 2 years …

I've been doing Functional Patterns for just over 2 years and it has been a game-changer to me. I was doing weight lifting and yoga before and I didn’t have much issues apart from tight muscles that I had to constantly release either by stretching or regular physio massage.
FP focuses on full body movements incorporating all muscless, even those I could never engage before , and as a result, I move better, feel stronger, and no longer need to stretch. Despite that, I've gained flexibility and strength. I've also seen a huge improvement in my running and tennis game. Highly recommend Functional Patterns as the best training method.

Only system that was able to help me…

Only system that was able to help me improve my athleticism, keep me out of pain and improve my state of mental wellbeing. Before utilising Functional Patterns I had substance abuse problems and also mental health issues and a limited will to live, and very poor sleep. The changes in my physical structure were significant and I would notice the immense amount of relaxation that came with it prompting better sleep and far better mental state of mind. It made complete sense that there’d be a blueprint for human movement as dictated by our evolution to perform certain functions that made us human and were fundamental to our survival. When you address the variables related to this blueprint you immediately notice the difference compared to other training systems. Unlike any other system I’ve experienced, Functional patterns utilises multi-vectoral training that best replicates the demands of moving in open space which is relevant both in our evolution as a hunting species and also in many sporting contexts, and this is why the results speak for themself, scaling all the way from people with neurodegenerative diseases to professional athletes and everyone like myself in between. I recently attended a Functional Patterns Human Biomechanics Specialist Course to take my knowledge to the next level after being overwhelmingly happy with the results I got. The course exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to utilise the material to produce results for newcomers to the system so that they can experience the same benefits and change in their lives that I experienced in mine from adopting Functional Patterns protocols.

Gave me a new lease on life

Suffered from chronic back pain at 28 years old. I saw multiple PTs who could not fix the problem. Could barely do anything at the gym before FP. After going through the 10-week online course, Functional Training System, and now working with a practitioner, I feel better than I ever have before. It's only going to get better!

This program has been a major success

This program has been a major success. I am a wrestling coach that has suffered through hip problems and this course (followed by the Functional training system) has helped me get through practice pain free, minimize chiropractic visits, and allow me to box jump 46” and over. Not to mention I ran a half marathon with zero stretching due to my fascia being hydrated and pliable.

The most useful info in the fitness industry

Functional Patterns has the most useful information in the fitness industry by a landslide. In a sea of conflicting information about what you should do to get out of pain and build resilience, FP simplifies things and gets straight to the point on how to actually resolve your issues for good. It’s completely changed my way of thinking about health and I couldn’t be more grateful

Best value for money health oriented course and system

Functional Patterns has helped me immensely. I first encountered FP while dealing with some pains (lower back pain and quad tendinitis) and also numbness in the bottom of my foot. The MFR itself massively improved my symptoms and by the time I was through with the 10 week online course I was completely symptom free. I’m so glad I found this course during the final year of my Doctor of Physical Therapy education. Since then I’ve continued trying to learn the methodology and going through the HF and soon HBS certifications. It’s helped me massively. I feel more resilient and I’m glad to be able to assist clients more effectively with the skills I’ve learned and knowledge I’ve gained through Functional Patterns.

Functional Patterns for everyone …

I started utilizing Functional Patterns methodology nearly a decade ago. I have not looked back since. Coming from a background in collegiate athletics. I was used to chasing the pain. I believed that pain had to be a part of my every day life.

Since finding Functional Patterns, this is not the case. It is a results driven, effective method that has transformed the lives of not only myself but dozens of clients. I find this method to be light years ahead in the fitness industry, always continuously evolving for the better.

Functional Patterns Is for everyone. The results speak for themselves.
