Very bad experience with FundedNext.
Very bad experience with FundedNext.
I purchased my account on July 22, 2026 through a BOGO offer. At the time of purchase, my account 100k was eligible for EA trading, so I traded according to the rules that were in place when I paid.
FundedNext later changed its policy regarding EAs on 50K, 100K and 200K accounts, with a new restriction introduced from September 8.
Even though my account had been purchased well before this new rule and was eligible for EA use at the time of purchase, I later faced issues regarding the use of my EA and even the possibility of my account being banned.
On top of that, my account was flagged for HFT/hyperactivity based on 2,029 server messages. I disputed the decision and provided explanations and evidence regarding the source of that activity.
What bothers me most is that a trader can purchase an account under one set of conditions, then a few weeks later face new restrictions and technical interpretations that can put the account or payouts at risk.
Rules regarding EAs, HFT, hyperactivity and server messages should be clear, measurable and locked in for accounts that were already purchased.
After this experience, I no longer trust the way FundedNext handles traders who use EAs. If you trade with automation, keep all your evidence, logs, and especially the rules that were in place on the day you purchased your account.
Terminating accounts with no prior notice
FundedNext suspended multiple accounts over alleged high-frequency trading the decision was unfair.
The report supplied lists a small number of trades spread across an extended period, with substantial gaps between many entries.
The termination notice also rules out compensation, yet the evidence provided does not clearly explain how these trades meet the stated HFT criteria.
I do not recommend.
Unfairly Banned After Passing Challenge…
Unfairly Banned After Passing Challenge - Manual Scalping Counted as Bot
I spent 20 days trading manually on FundedNext. I passed the challenge, managed risk, and made significant profits. Just as I was about to get funded, they banned my account (ID: 13929084) citing "Quick Strike" violation.
I am a manual trader who uses "layering" (clicking buy multiple times) to enter positions. I do not use bots or HFT software. My trades were based on solid technical analysis (charts available).
They refused to listen to my explanation, refused to look at my chart evidence, and most importantly, refused to refund my registration fee even though I acted in good faith and made profit for them.
I feel scammed. They took my fee, let me trade for weeks, and banned me on a technicality without refunding my money. Be very careful before buying an account here; manual scalpers are not safe.
Ignore the negative reviews at your own risk.
Ignore the negative reviews at your own risk. You will painstakingly pass the challenge and they will find something to fail you. Mine was that I used Quick strike method. According to their website, HFT / Hyperactivity involve hundreds of trades / thousands of messages per day, often using EAs and automated systems.
In contrast, the “evidence” report you provided for my account shows:
Only 18 trades marked as “Quick Strike,”
Positions held for several minutes (up to nearly half an hour), not a few seconds, and
Manual intraday trading, with no EAs, arbitrage, grid trading, group hedging, or other prohibited structures.
I used orderflow trading to pass the…
I used orderflow trading to pass the challenge and they blocked me because they said it was HFT.
No refund.
SCAMMERS: Demanding Source Code for EA? This Firm is a Red Flag for IP Theft and Untrustworthy Practices
I recently purchased the $700 Instant Stellar account from FundedNext, excited to test my proprietary Expert Advisor (EA) that I've developed over nearly 10 years as a professional trader. FundedNext's help center clearly states that EAs are allowed with customization for uniqueness, but what happened next was shocking and unethical.
After starting trades with my custom EA—fully compliant with no prohibited strategies like HFT or grid trading—they suddenly demanded the full .ex4/.ex5 source code file, along with a screen recording of executions. This is not mentioned anywhere in their terms or EA guidelines. Sharing my algorithm would expose my intellectual property, which I've coded myself and kept confidential. No one else has access to it.
Their support team has exclusive access to my trading credentials, strategy details, and order history. This request feels like coercion to either copy my IP or sabotage my account to avoid payouts once I hit withdrawal targets. As an experienced trader with a large social media following, I've dealt with regulators and counterparties before—I know how to escalate with evidence, and this will be shared widely if unresolved.
Despite their glowing reviews and payout proofs, this experience reveals a dark side: zero respect for trader privacy and potential data security issues. I demanded a full refund, but their silence speaks volumes. Avoid FundedNext if you value your trading edge—they're not the "trader-friendly" firm they claim to be. Steer clear and protect your IP!
I do not recommend FundedNext
I purchased a 100k account and passed Step 1 without any issues. In Step 2, after making 2.5% profit, they suddenly imposed restrictions: a maximum of 1% risk per trade and only 60–70% margin usage. This forced me to change my strategy, even though I was originally using a negative RR strategy with a 90% win rate.
After changing my approach, they accused me of using HFT, even though I only traded US30 and NAS100 during the New York session. Everyone knows how the market reacts at that time, and my trades (2–4 per day) naturally closed within seconds or a few minutes. I explained my strategy clearly, and while they thanked me for the clarification, they still suspended my account.
In my opinion, once they saw I was getting close to passing the challenge, they started putting obstacles in my way. I have been trading and withdrawing consistently since February 2025 with two other well-known prop firms, and I never had such issues. Unfortunately, FundedNext has been a huge disappointment.
I do not recommend FundedNext. From my experience, they just take your money and then create excuses to stop you from passing.
Final termination after a week of stalling, baseless accusations, and zero due process — deeply unprofessional
I’ve just had my FundedNext Challenge Account (13732053) terminated after an entire week of “review” that felt like stalling and moving goalposts. Despite providing every single piece of evidence they requested (and more), FundedNext concluded with a copy-paste rejection alleging “account/device sharing” — accusations I categorically deny and have disproven with verifiable data.
What I submitted, promptly and in good faith:
VPS provider details (Beeks) with proof of purchase and invoices.
Clear explanation of RDP endpoint IP vs public egress IP due to NAT on the VPS (confirmed by provider architecture).
Full device details: hostname, private IP, public IP, MT5 build, logs, and system evidence.
MT5 Journal and Account History for the exact period they were reviewing.
Windows System Log (EVTX) showing continuous activity from a single VPS environment.
EA description with scope limited to trade execution + risk management (SL/TP), lot sizing via lotSize = riskAmount / stopLossPips, secure inputs via HTTPS + Bearer JWT, no copier, no latency arbitrage, no HFT, no multi-account mirroring.
Their final answer? They claimed:
“EA UI lacks sufficient context” (irrelevant to whether I shared accounts).
“Expert present in manager” and “operating via VPS” (of course — that’s exactly what I stated and documented).
“Direct CID match using the same IP from the same VPS” leading them to “suspect” my VPS is shared. This is precisely the point I addressed: egress IPs can be shared (NAT), which is standard on many VPS providers. I provided explanations, screenshots, logs, and a statement request to the provider. They ignored the core technical reality and jumped to the worst interpretation.
This experience has been exhausting, unfair, and frankly, disrespectful:
Repeated unfounded accusations even after comprehensive, verifiable proof.
Week-long delays with no clear timeline, only to end in a blanket, final termination.
Conflating normal VPS behavior (shared egress IP/NAT) with “account/device sharing.”
Dismissing transparent cooperation and technical evidence.
I cannot recommend FundedNext. If you reach “Funded,” be prepared for slow responses, accusatory tone, and a process that feels designed to deny rather than to verify facts. A fair, transparent compliance review should acknowledge robust technical evidence — not ignore it.
I value professionalism and due process. What I experienced was the opposite: opaque, slow, and ultimately unjust.
No matter how hard you work to comply…
No matter how hard you work to comply with their rules, they will end up closing your accounts based on fallacies if necessary.
Upon passing a 200k challenge account with Fundednext, they closed all my accounts including the funded account I had with them arguing that I used HFT whereas all my trades were manual and that my average trade duration was more than 1 hour. I did not have any trade which duration was below 1min.
After I Point out the fact that my trades duration and my trading style cannot in anyway suggest that I’m using a HFT, the agent recognize that my trades were indeed longer that typical HFT trades and that I traded manually. However they decided to terminate all my accounts.
I’ve asked for refund of challenge fees since I did not break any rule but I’ve been ignored so quickly that I’m left with nothing so far than filing a complaint here.
I’ve wrote them on Nov 29 2024 and Dec 5 2024 regarding the reimbursement of my fees but so far, my email are simply ignored.
Warning for legit traders.
Warning! Make sure to read all the terms and conditions. I think FundedNext is a great company if you read all the terms and conditions.
I find myself at an unfortunate situation, I didn’t have money to buy a challange so I had to save up for a few months, the dollar to the rand(South Africa) is not great.
However whilst I was busy saving up a friend bought an account that he was not doing well in and it was close to breach ($25 left) he then bought himself othee accounts and he stopped trading this one account and in us chatting he offered it to me as it was just sitting, my mistake was agreeing to play around with what was left in the account, and lost that in less than 2days.
I then managed to buy my account, which I was able to pass P1 and P2. Now FundedNext refuse to grant me my funded account cause I logged in my friend’s account and traded and according to the Tc and Cs that is not allowed. I tried to explain what had happened to the agent, but I got a generic response telling me that FundedNext will have to terminate. Even though I wasn’t trying to cheat the system, or do HFT, my friend trades gold I trade usdjpy only. I sent screenshots of our conversation to prove that there was no ill-intent behind. I am not even a profitable trader this is the 1st challenge I have passed, was looking forward to the experience
Anyways this is just a warning to anyone having a trader’s dream with a friend in the same journey DON’T ever share your login details.
Unethical Company Practices
This company operates unethically. I paid for a £15K account and began trading on it. My account was up by £80 when I suddenly received an email accusing me of using high-frequency trading (HFT).
To address this, I contacted the vendor who provided the trading system, and they confirmed that it is not an HFT system. While the system may have opened a few trades in quick succession the prior week, I was neither notified nor warned about any issues. Instead, my account was abruptly closed, with generic sections of the terms of service cited to justify their actions.
No reputable business should operate this way. The proper course of action would have been to notify me of their concerns and provide an opportunity to adjust my trading approach. Immediate closure without warning reflects poor customer service and a lack of fairness.
I strongly discourage anyone from opening accounts with this company if you value transparency and accountability. Don't risk finding yourself in a similar situation.
The Best Ever
Funded Next! The name of trust & authenticity. One thing that i like about this firm is their strict business oriented policy. They don't attract traders by giving offers like Bogo & HFT Evaluations. They are clear in their rules and payouts.
Its the easiest ever firm to pass.
As far as payouts are concerned, never heard any trader complaining about the payout delay.
One of the best on the earth till date.
Wish you more & more success fundednext.

fraudulent company

1 - if you get closer to your goal, they will deactivate your account.
2 - They send you an email, that you are using the (HFT) strategy even though you have never heard of it before like they told me and deactivated my Accounts, or they tell you that you opened the account from another device like a phone with a different IP, or they tell you that a number of your trades are 70% similar to another account. ,
3 - They buy positive reviews, 2/10 reviews every hour so that the bad reviews do not appear to you.

My funded account was canceled for no reason.
I was in my first month with a funded account. They canceled the account with only 5 days left in the period, saying that I had done HFT (high frequency trading) and that this was not allowed. The reality is that I have never tried to do that. The closest thing was the test I did with an expert advisor that worked poorly because he opened and closed the transactions. I immediately suspended the operation. It wasn't even a whole minute and they told me that I had made 280 requests in one millisecond, which of course is not true. Previously I also had another problem with them since once I passed the challenge they changed my leverage to 1:5 when I started with the funded account, claiming that the operations had a great diversity in the lots and that they seemed like bets, however with this restriction I had managed to make a good profit during this period that was about to end. As you can read in other reviewstaht they look for excuses to cancel your account. They really hurt me because they don't want to reimburse me and they didn't let me finish my period so I could get paid. You are warned. ***Update (oct 17): I have sent emails showing that the evidence they sent is not consistent with the alleged offense, that is, I never committed any offense and until now they have not responded to my emails.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Started good good my first payout last year and then absolute horrible. I traded in good faith with funded next event he slippage was bad and often delayed. I was first accused of using an HFT but im a manual trader and scalper using my own hotkey tools that i sell on the MQL marketplace as well. Im a licensed trader from Hong Kong and used funded next as one of my income streams as well as other prop firms in addition to my own accounts. Now payout day comes and im getting accused of Group trading and such like so many others as well. Im travelling trough Asia the last 8 months with stations in Cambodia, Mumbai, China, Hong Kong, Thailand. The accoutn manager John Leo knew about it all. I also met the CEO at the FXEXPO 2022 In Bangkok and spoke to him as well talked on how to EXPAND into China. Now they have deleted me from DISCORD when i was asking about the issue and why im keep getting deleted and blocked. I was not rude or anything just asked about the accusations!!. Ticket got deleted and nobody responds. Its not even that large of a payout. About 7K. Started good but going under as just another scam like so many other recently. Well im flying to DHAKA to remind you guys that you signed a contract with my firm and not as an individial and you guys are also bound to this contract!. I traded in good faith and to be so abused by you guys .. Horrible.. but u know karma comes back! I suggest you guys should google AK CAPITAL and whats behind it. !! Thank you
WHAT is wrong with this people!
What is wrong with those guys. first they deny payout based on copy trading or such. then they posted a ridiculous video and ny full name on their discord. this happened of course after my attorney contacted them and demanded the payouts.
https:// www. youtube. com/ watch?v=XV7AVqVjGiw
on this screenshots you can see that none of the claims are valid they are doing as well never even traded XAUUSD!
https:// snipboard. io/ xSAD4K.jpg
https://. docs. google. com/spreadsheets/d/1y6nQCOngKNY-Z7LCcpG_aIfC3UnULaG7wfPaiomDPQE/edit#gid=695196436
pile up the evidence against you guys. now to the payout demand from my attorney im gonna pile up an defamation case as you publicly share my name with false claims.
I met the ceo at the Bangkok expo as well
https:// snipboard. io/ y3x4CM.jpg
and im a licensed trader from Hong Kong
maybe you guys should check the ip from those trades. at that time I used forexvps and beeks vps 2 of the largest vps providers and im sure that others used it as well!.
ANSWER TO THEIR RESPONSE:
I’m a licensed trader from Hong Kong and ceo of a hedge fund based in Hong Kong. I would loose my license if I would engage in illegal copy trading. Also your response doesn’t show any trades happens at the sime timeframe neither as you can see if n the trade records. But we already started a legal case against you with the authorities in Dhaka and UAE for defamation and privacy violations. I shared all ip with you guys . And yes it’s called VPS and not dedicated server .. you should know the difference. VPS share the ip of the same machine as well as the id. The server were in the same location as your eightcap servers in equinix Tokyo as well as equinix New York. Pretty much all brokerage firms are located with equinix. Also beeks and forexvps have their machines and vps located there!! I’m a master of science in it engineering from Germany. So you guys just made a mistake but I got the resources to fight you guys back. BTW the 4 payouts you mention 2 of them were couple bucks like 50 dollars .. what a good account manager I am to earn 40 bucks on a 100k account ! Also the proof in the video you shared are 4 trades that seem to be similar and you never send any proof or details. just a spreadsheet claiming same device. Anyhow attorneys working on the matter. If I would have taken the trades as you guys claim that are over 8 months ago just saying, where are the trades after that!! in those 8 months I traded over 7k trades as a manual scalper. I shared videos from my trades with you as well!. I’m with you guys for almost a year and trade me over 7k trades and had 5 funded accounts with you guys.. where are those copy trades … or did you guys not find other trades that are similar to others 😂🤡

DENYING PAYOUT AND ACCUSED ME OF GROUP TRADING
After my first payout I started to have very negative experiences with Funded Next. The first issue I encountered was high slippage on my trades. This caused me to lose significant profits and left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. When I contacted customer support for assistance, I found that they were not helpful in resolving my issues. Instead we're blaming the issue on volatility or holidays or anything else and saying it was either high volatility or low volatility or it was because of holidays. This issue is ongoing since more than 3 months and I showed them enough video proof and screenshots.
To make matters worse, I conducted a side-by-side comparison of Funded Next with eightcap real trading servers. The results showed a huge discrepancy in the trades executed, which further solidified my concerns about the reliability of the platform.
One of the most concerning issues was that my stop loss and take profit orders were not respected. This resulted in unexpected and substantial losses. I found this unacceptable and it greatly impacted my overall experience with the platform.
To add insult to injury, my account was abruptly closed with the accusation that I had used high-frequency trading bots. This was completely false and I am a manual trader. Furthermore, I was not given any explanation or reason for the account closure.
update:
they reinstated the account after initial claiming I used HFT but im a manual scalper. also customer support is trying its best to rectify 8cap broker issues.
I CORRECT MY PREVIOUS REVIEW: THEY DENIED MY PAYOUT and accused me of Group trading. IM a licensed trader from Hong Kong and traveling the last 6 months trough Asia and trade from my hotel rooms. Without proof they accused me of this and deny payment and closed the accounts. after notify my concerns I got blocked from discord. the account manager is not responding and only saying contact by email and nobody responds. so im certain they run a scam. JAYAED I thought when we met at the FX EXPO in Bangkok you are a decent guy. Seems im mistaken.May I also remind you that we signed contracts that you are as well bound to and you signed the contract with my FIRM as a trader not as an individual.
RESPONSE TO THEIR ANSWER:
after they provided their so called proof to me it clearly showed that they have no base of the accusations. the server that I used was an Amazon AWS in Tokyo while the so called copy trades happened not only days and months apart they where also from different IP addresses fro example from Berlin and Stockholm. I dont know how it is possible that an AMAZON TOKYO AWS can be moved to Stockholm and Berlin. I have proven that I was the owner of the AMAZON AWS during the timeframe but of course NOBODY responded or answered on there MAILS. On the mail from the DHAKA public courts where also no response given!!
