Not a gym but a Debt collection company!

Be aware, if you miss any gym payments, they harass you with penalty fees disguised as “administration fees” .Best part ? Once you fully pay , they still ask you to pay more administration fees , as well these administration fees keep rising if ignored. Its not a gym , its a SCAM!Should have called it FUSE DEBT COLLECTION COMPANY!!!

I signed up to fuze as I hadn't been in…

I signed up to fuze as I hadn't been in the gym for years at this stage. When I went to view the gym there was a really nice trainer there I explained I would need some advice and asked if there was a training service there to which I was told yes there was. I used the gym for a couple of months after that I didn't see that trainer again and all the staff that were there were uninterested and practically avoiding any conversations about personal training. They were unapproachable an there was a very negative vibe there. I emailed my grievance and cancelled i had no value for money and dreaded having to go there. Since I am still receiving emails requesting payment even though the manager at the time apologised and advise the gym had had an overhaul and new staff. I emailed again the other day to ask the to stop emailing me and I have had another email asking me for money. It was a horrible experience.

Email from manager:

Hi Sarah,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I’m sorry to hear that your time at our gym was disappointing, and I completely understand your concerns.

I want to let you know that since your membership, our entire fitness team has changed. I have recently joined as the new manager, bringing years of experience in the fitness industry, and I’ve been focused on raising both the standard of service and the atmosphere in the gym.

We have upgraded our facilities, and every new member now goes through a full induction and a personal training consultation to make sure they feel supported right from the start. Our class timetable has also expanded with a wider variety of sessions, led by new instructors who are committed to engaging with members and providing a positive experience.

Regarding your account, I will review your membership status to ensure you are not contacted about payments going forward.

I appreciate your feedback, and while I regret that your experience with the previous team was not up to standard, I would love the opportunity to welcome you back in the future to experience the improvements we’ve made.

New manager which seemed very nice but my faith in that gym could no be repaired.

The business is still emailing me and stating there cold be additional charges. If I was that manager I would have written the same email and cancelled my account and removed my email from outgoing emails considering the service was beyond par and an anxiety ridden experience. Not sure about the staff now they could be very good but I wouldn't step foot in the place again after the previous experience with the staff who worked there when I attended.

Terrible cancellation / refund policy

Terrible cancellation / refund policy. Be careful!

The owner refuses all refunds on membership, including if you are getting evicted from your house and won't be able to go to a fuse gym. I cancelled 7 days before my renewal but the owner refuses to cancel my membership and charged me €400 for a year's gym membership which I can't use. Horrible way to treat people for an establishment that says "Gyms powered by community" on the front page of their website.

Aside from this, the gym is ok although I wouldn't have chosen it if it wasn't the nearest to my house.

There are a lot of machines they don't have and the machines they do have are often worn out / broken.

If I could leave a zero star review I…

If I could leave a zero star review I would. Left the Artane gym in tears today after a older female PT there snapped at me. I was on a free trial testing out the gym with my partner, only in the door 20 mins and went to use the hip thrust set up. This woman and her client had been using the set up when I first arrived but had moved on since and had left nothing marking the area as being in use. So I went over and started setting up, but she snapped at me so aggressively and told me that I couldn't use the equipment at all, despite her and her client using a completely different machine at the time. This woman had greeted us as we came in, knew that I was on a free trial, so I didn't know the system. I struggle really badly with gym anxiety and had been extremely nervous going in in the first place, so to have this interaction just demolished my confidence entirely and sent me running to the bathroom crying. Even my partner said he'd never seen anything like it. I wouldn't speak to anyone in any gym the way she spoke to me. I would never recommend this gym to anyone.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. Forget about getting refunds, as they won’t make any effort to understand the client: this never happened to me.
Classes lack of professionalism and preparation, no warm up, no stretch after.
A total waste of money.
