Didn't work after about 6 months

I received this air fryer as a gift and was happy to have because it did do a great job. However I used it maybe 6 months and now it no longer works. I have now seen on amazon many people with this machine have same issue how it doesn't work after only a short time.
I have reached out to the provider and they are unable to do anything for me as I don't have a poof of purchase info because it was a gift.
This is just a review to let people know that this product my have a bad batch and if you do buy keep the receipt and if it is a gift get a gift receipt as it may have to be returned and pretty fast.
I will be buying a new air fryer but not with this company because in other reviews people said they had problems and showed proof of purchase and still the company didn't help.
