Gary Polkinghorne

Worst ever recruiting agency going!
Never follow through with what they say and doesn't help with anything at all. Also swears about me to his manager Gary polkinghorne promised several call backs and he never did. Lied about what he said down the phone to me, lied about money, Not helpful with any details about the job or payment.

If you do come across this company please do go and use another one.
What ever you do don't use Gary!

Avoid Avoid Avoid

If you deal with this company, either record each and every conversation - including the name, date and time and back up everything in writing and keep detailed diary notes. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

As Rich said

As Rich said, AWFUL experience. had 1 payment about a month ago of two days pay, worked a further two weeks no payment, then they took a week off for Christmas(on their own weekly pay contract). so no wages processing. Lied to repeatedly, fed false promises of uniform that never arrived or a permanent position 3 days into the role, manager who was never on site and agency that has no clue. And now terminated for wanting my wages that I earned. Same timesheet processed about 4 times.

Do NOT work for these people, personally I don’t know how they are still in business. They should be investigated for fraud and theft of their workers wages.

Awful

Awful. Held back funds after promises to pay, after many delays finally got paid. Customer service was nonexistent, once you signed up you are forgotten about. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE

Bunch of neolithically incompetent…

Bunch of neolithically incompetent staff. Takes four of them several emails a week to STILL cock up my payable hours. Promised overtime rates I was then robbed of. Blamed the construction company when it was their staffs inability to process hours sent to them. Staff even called one another incompetent behind each others’ backs in correspondence. Do yourself a favor and AVOID at all costs. Bunch of crooked morons.

Sent on a job in Sanford Holiday park…

Sent on a job in Sanford Holiday park Warham Dorset for £14 per hour self-employed hurt my back lifting heavy panels out and dismantling a toilet so signed the book in and out but was unable to return to work. The following week did not get paid was told before the job that the company would send over the timesheet so I don't need one. No pay so having to take them now to ACAS and follow it through. Whether you have a timesheet or not signed off if you do a job the agency still has to pay the hours you do. I never work for them again. This is not the first agency I have had to refer to ACAS and won't be the last that I am shaw of!

Don't pay CIS!

They put you through an umbrella company where you end up paying all the tax - yours & theirs!. They don't
do CIS, when I put this to them they didn't seem to care, was asked aggressively "do you want the job or not!". Waste of time like all agencies!!!

The absolute worst company

The absolute worst company! Have no idea of what’s going on. Make false promises, take your money and run. Exploit people. Have no work ethic and clearly have no idea how to run a business other than steal your promised bonus. Do not join them, stay clear! If there was a negative scoring here I would have used it.

Don't bother waste your time

Don't bother waste your time with this recruitment firm. Poor customer service, failed promises of calling you back and a basic UI website with barely any new job vacancies on it.
