I wouĺd like to take this opportunity to give the biggest thankyou to Kate for helping me through the whole process from start to finish it flowed so well, from servey to finish just flowed smoothly, what great teams they have, electrians insulation & plasterers magic, tidy & profesional , plumbers, solar guys all terific , so pleased i found this company after 3 very bad experiences.

The work was carried out by two exceptional installers carrying out their work to
perfection. So polite & respectful at all times. The plumbers were great very good at their jobs, fast & thorough. Along to with the electricians too.
Charles & Kate were happy supporting us in every way they could to make the whole project pleasant & successful.

I approached the company for help& advice to drastically improve the energy efficiency of my home.They responded by phone in a very timely way & very clearly set out all the options & stages the process would take. The survey & report was also done quickly, communication was excellent.
However due to the unique problems in my home I wasn’t able to take up offer of funding even though the company made every effort to support me

Kate and Charles and the team at G4HI really do care about everybody who applies and really go the extra mile to make sure that we are supported and looked after.

The initial application process was made very easy, and although there were significant issues with the first surveyor that they asked to come and visit (he failed to keep me up-to-date with his thoughts about the project, and told the team that I had decided not to go ahead when I had not said such a thing - which wasted about five months) Kate and Charles pulled out the stops to make sure that this was rectified and that my application went through.

The work is currently in progress, and the company they have recommended to do the work is absolutely brilliant. The guys are just finishing off installing interior insulation and are doing a superb job, and within the next week or two I should have a new air source heat pump and central heating system, and solar PV.

The changes that this is going to make to my life and to my home are beyond my expectations, and if it hadn’t been for the team at G4HI it wouldn’t have happened

From my first telephone call to G4HI I received a warm welcome from the team. They were personable, helpful and reassuring and easy to reach via phone, email or WhatsApp.

Charles and Kayleigh pulled the strings brilliantly - once I'd submitted all the necessary paperwork needed, they got things moving efficiently, with the work booked in to my delight, within a matter of weeks.

I'm aware there are different company's involved in bringing an installation like this to fruition and the comms between everyone was complex at times - it didn't affect me but at one point the engineer came to commission the heat pump on a day when it was still being fitted!
Also, a team arrived from up the line to put in cavity wall insulation, only to find I already had it ;)

Despite these hiccups the service I received was spot on - I'd like to thank Kayleigh again for her fantastic availability and responding promptly when I needed to check something out.
From the conversations we had I knew this work really mattered to her and the same with Charles; they genuinely want to help people.
I felt confident I was in good hands and their kindness and care continued throughout.

What a great Company to deal with. It has a great application process that is made stress free and easy thanks to their professionalism and knowledge.
They really care about you we felt really looked after and they are there to help at every stage of the application. You can speak to them on the telephone which is a huge bonus, the customer care is outstanding.
We have had the work completed and the workmanship on every level is outstanding and to the highest quality. They contacted us for up dates along the way.

I did not think I'd be eligible but Charles and Kate have been fantastic guiding me through and overseeing what has resulted in a 2 phase upgrade. Phase 1 loft insulation completed - the house is now noticeably less draughty. Phase 2 is just about to start this will get some heating into my home. Although the process took awhile before the work started I have been kept up-to-date with application progress throughout. Altogether a good experience. Thank you

As a private renter you would expect your options to improve the property you are living in to be very limited, and with recent energy price hikes it has made heating my house challenging.
The process started by just sending an email to Grants4homeimprovements which was responded to within hours. They take your home details and information on what government benefits you receive and can then advise you as to what can be potentially provided.
The next stage is a surveyor visiting you and ideally your landlord to look in detail at the property to establish the best improvements that can be achieved. My experience was good, the surveyor was very helpful and explained what they were looking to achieve from an insulation and heating point of view. It took about two hours and was very detailed.
Ten days later they contacted me to say that under the grant system a new heating system along with additional insulation and Solar PV could be provided at no cost to myself or the landlord.
The work is scheduled to commence is two weeks.

Everyone I have dealt with at Grants4homeimprovements has been helpful and quick to respond.

I have had nothing but positive help since applying for the heaters and when they arrived the two installers were extremely polite and very efficient.
I had to make a number of calls to the office in Truro during the overall process and was always met with courtesy.
Overall it was a pleasant experience and I am more than happy with the night storage heaters.
