I love the safety features for kids although I wish they had a little more options for kids without releasing the whole internet. I’d love something in between the two.

The overall experience has been great. The ability to be in contact with our children when they are at practices or with friends in a safe and secure manner, has been wonderful. Customer support has been amazing!
My only issues are that sometimes making changes don't hold immediately. I have to wait a long time for them to update and/or perform the steps multiple times. It always works eventually, but it can be frustrating in the process.
Also, the GPS is not always accurate. I can be sitting next to my sons' watches and one says they are on the street behind our house and the other is across the street in front of our house. It is good for giving a general location, but can also be misleading when you are trying to keep track of exactly where your child is.

My daughter loves her phone and staying in touch with us. It's given me and her father peace of mind knowing she can call/text to update us where she is AND I can also be notified if she leaves safe zones or pull up location anytime. No service issues and phone works great! Very pleased with the price we pay!

Having the Gabb for both my kids has been a great experience so far. I appreciate that there aren’t a bunch of apps for them to use and they can focus on using it for the purpose of communication. My kids love it, service has been solid and I so appreciate getting that midday “love you” from one of my kiddos when I least expect it. My anxiety of not knowing where they are between school and after school activities is gone when I am able to track them or communicate when needed.

Getting a phone for a 13-year-old is a tough call. You want them to be able to reach you, but handing over a fully unlocked smartphone with social media and the whole internet just feels like asking for trouble. We decided to try Gabb Wireless for my son, and honestly, it’s been exactly what we needed.
The biggest selling point for me is what it doesn't have. There's no web browser, no app store, and zero social media. I don't have to worry about what he's looking at or if he's getting addicted to endless scrolling. It also has a really solid GPS tracker, so I can just check the app and know exactly where he is while I'm at work.
From his perspective, he's just happy to have a phone. It looks and feels like a regular smartphone, so he doesn't feel like he's carrying around a little kid's toy around his friends. He can text his buddies (including group chats and pictures), listen to music, and take photos.
It gives him the independence a 13-year-old wants, while giving me the peace of mind I need. If you're on the fence about getting your teenager their first phone, this is a perfect middle ground.

I referred a friend and she purchased a Gabb watch. Gabb sent me an email saying I got a free month of service in my April 2026 bill. Well, I get my billing statement today and there is my total bill with no credit. I called the customer support which I am now still holding for the escalation department. I have been on the phone now for 1 hour and 35 minutes and counting. The escalation department hasn't answered in the last 30 minutes. I am paying for 2 Gabb watches for my grandsons. The first representative who every time she asked me a question and I answered her, she had to put me on hold and ask her manager. This has happened 7x already and still no credit. I had to keep giving this foreign woman who is a virtual assistant in the Phillipines or somewhere the same information over and over. She got to the point where she states she would give me a credit for one of my grandsons watch but couldn't credit my whole bill. When I started questioning her about these god awful practices that they are promising and not living up to their word she then said she was putting me up to her manager. Well the manager has not answered yet and it has been over 2 hours total on this one phone call. This is the worse customer service and problems that they do not know how to handle. Whatever you do DO NOT GET THIS WATCH! When my subscription expires they are getting cancelled. Besides that the watch only works 1/2 of the time and you have to call customer support to go through a lengthly reset. Worse decision I have every made.

March 2026 Gabb phone processed an automatic system update ultimately making the phone unusable. I have phoned tech support multiple times. They keep stating they are aware of the issue and its widespread, but they have no timeline for a solution.

It was easy to compare devices and the chart was easy to understand. The phones came quickly. I appreciate that I can change the service plan if I need to. We want to give our kids the ability to talk with their friends and family but keep them safe and off social media and Gabb offers that ability. So glad I heard about it from a friend and read about Gabb in The Tech Exit book.

So we are liking the Gabb phone 4. Theirs is one thing that I would recommend if you are wanting to download any other 3rd party apps onto the Gabb 4 phone, then get the Gabb 4 pro. Because you can’t add any other apps onto the Gabb 4 that’s not already available to download.
