No customer service whatsoever

No customer service whatsoever. It doesn’t exist.

No response to repeated emails, even with an enquiry for a top spec laptop. This lead me to looking for reviews.

Having read all the other poor reviews I would never take the risk of being left with a laptop that is an expensive paper weight.

If you place an order and everything goes OK, then happy days. If however you have a problem, then you have wasted your money… unless you have the time to drive to Plymouth and bang on the door…

Cheap, maybe. Risky, definitely

Avoid like the plague

Poor customer service, laptop received and battery failed to hold power for more than 10 minutes. So not really a function device for the intended purpose. No response to any emails and phones are unanswered. Return seems impossible and the company address is actually just an office building where many e-commerce businesses are registered but noone actually works there. Just a paid for address. Chargeback begun via credit card company.

Terrible after sales service ~ Uncontactable Don't use them

The refurbished laptop arrived 2 weeks later than initially advised with excuses of high workload. Once received the unit seemed in reasonable shape, performance-wise except that the power brick didn't work at all (Changed plug fuse etc) and we had to use one from another machine (Correctly rated) Once under batter power the charge dropped from 100% to <30% in around 4 minutes.Obviously the battery had not been renewed as part of the upgrade, effectively rendering the unit next to useless given that my daughter needs it for school. Trying to contact them since has been impossible. Their phone line is clearly not manned but deceitfully disguised by an automated message claiming to be too busy and no one answers emails. I will update this review if anything positive happens over the next weeks but in the meantime I'd advise anyone to stay well clear of this company

Bad customer service.

I initially gave the Gadget Centre a good review, I should have waited another few days. I had a problem with the laptop it had no video and I couldn’t turn it off because I couldn’t see what was happening. They sent an email with instructions which I followed. No luck.
You can’t phone they say staff shortage, I have sent 4 emails so far and I only get the stock email ‘ back to you in 48 to 72 hours. I need this laptop for my business. They shouldn’t be advertising at the moment if they can’t fulfil their commitments.

The Aftersales service is appalling.

The delivery of the laptop was good. But since I’ve had a problem with said laptop I have emailed at least 20 times, no phone calls are accepted by them and emails go unanswered. They reply to 1 in 10 emails or so. Terrible terrible aftersales care and no I would not use them again. This has been going on for at least 2 months. Now I do not have a laptop as I returned it to them. No idea if I will ever see it again. It cost me £369!
