I sent the GadgetGone two used iPhones in January and February. Each time, after I entered information about the phones, I received a price quote and a shipping label (paid by GadgetGone, which is nice). After shipping out, I was already prepared to accept that they would cut down the offer price a little bit after evaluation. To my surprise, however, after evaluation, they gave me a higher assessed value than the preliminary quote for each case of the two phones. So, I think they are fair, honest, and trustworthy. They are also efficient and stick to the time they promised. I upgrade my iPhone for every new version, and I will send the retired phones to them in the future. I highly recommend this company.

Aiat made this process very easy and his explanations and ownership of ALL communications front start to finish will have me as a loyal customer in the future. I’m a firm believer that this level of amazing service will have people seeking you out. Never lose sight of this personal touch, you are amazing. I do just the overall success by navigating problems or issues- I do understand we had a pricing value difference but the conversation and explanation with agreeing to fair terms was a phenomenal experience for me.

Great experience! I sent in my wife's old iphone and was very satisfied with the process and communication. Great place to send in unused equipment. I liked it so much, I just sent off my old phone.

Just a quick easy experience

I have sent my iPhone 15 pro max and Apple watch 9 lte and it delivered to GadgetGone on February 10, 2025. They gave me evaluation timeline of 10 business days.

As for me it's my first time sending my devices trusting online website and it's like new device box piece no scratches at all and well taken care.

Says they'll give you a good offer, then nitpick tiny scratches to put you down to their "faulty" category so they can give you %20 of that. Quote from their customer service: "Our website mentions devices should be fully functional and free of chips or cracks to be considered in any category other than 'Faulty'."

Would have been nice to know before I shipped it :/ this warning wasn't in any prominent place.

We sent a phone back that was in what appeared to be perfect condition, no scratches of any kind. I got an email saying that the phone had deep scratches so they offered me half the expected amount. I asked them to return the phone or send me a photo of the alleged damage. The guy was polite & said he will check, send me a photo and see if they can make me a better offer. But on this site I do notice that people who leave good reviews get thanked. People who leave bad reviews get ignored by this company. That is a red flag. Hopefully they will pay attention to this review and reply to all of those unhappy customers who posted recently. One person made the allegation that they damage the phone on purpose to give a lower value. If that is the case I will not have a way to prove otherwise but will come back here and update you all to let you know.

I was skeptical of Gadget Gone at first, but after my daughter had a positive experience sending in her old iPhone, I gave it a try. I submitted two VERY old items: an iPhone and Apple Watch. After evaluating their worth and sending them in, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Gadget Gone folks had evaluated them in better condition and increased the amount they were willing to pay! Jessa P. was my rep, and she was super easy to communicate with. I'm very pleased with the customer service and how easy they made the whole process. I will definitely use them again when I make tech upgrades.

I’m no stranger to using these types of services where you get an instant offer for your phone and mail it in. However, this has been the worst one by far. They took almost two weeks to get back to me and it seems like they didn’t even test the phone. The phone is unlocked and can be used with any carrier but they are stating that it is carrier locked.

Furthermore, I should have looked for reviews of this company as I have now come across multiple recent Reddit posts about how this company purposely damages devices to lower their value. They are stating that the body of my device is noticeably scratched which is not possible. It was kept in a case and had a screen protector since I first got it. I also wiped it down thoroughly before shipping it out so I think it would be obvious if there was noticeable scratching.

Please do your research before trusting companies like this. You are either going to be out money, out a device, or both because they are going to return your device in worse condition than you sent it and lowball you. Their initial quotes are higher than the competition but they fail to deliver on payment. I have not had any issues like this with other services and will not be using this company again.

Very efficient and seamless experience! I had read reviews ( both good and bad) but decided to use Gadget Gone to sell 3 iPhones after we had upgraded our service. The whole process was very easy and the communication at all stages was excellent (as soon as I received an alert from USPS that the items had been delivered I received an email from Gadget Gone within 5 minutes to tell me they’d received my items!)
As for the negative reviews, I think some of the issue is not correctly listing what condition your item is in. I thought all my items were perfect but after using their guide I actually found little dents and scratches and listed all items in fair condition and actually there wasn’t much difference in my offer between fair and good. Overall a very quick and easy experience if you are realistic about your items condition. I will definitely use Gadget Gone again.

Great experience with the company overall. They quickly acknowledged (by email) their receipt of my phone and they ended up paying me even more for it than what I had estimated. I had elected to receive payment via gift card and they promptly emailed it later that day. Would definitely use them again.

Virtual Visa Card

This is a good site to sell your old equipment. However, I wish they bring back the Virtual Visa Card option which separate them from the rest of the field. It would be 5 stars with that option back.

I sent in my Iphone 13 with the promise of $250. They said screen was badly scratched and offered me $151. But, I have pics of it before I sent it in showing very minor scratching meeting their fair condition description. Classic bait and switch. My bet is that they do this to all the trade ins. I requested my phone back and waiting to hear from them. You can bet I will verify the IMEI. These are not honest people!

Got my phones evaluated and was told that payment would be done next day at this time and time has past and when i looked up info on GadgetGone it seems the place i shipped the phones to is a car dealership called Miracle Motors and the email i recieved from them was from Buyback Boss a different company all together so i'm thinking the Name GadgetGone means your gadget is gone
