Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers praise Magica as an incredibly useful and comprehensive all-in-one AI platform, offering a wide range of tools for content creation, image generation, and coding assistance. Many appreciate its ability to streamline workflows, save time, and provide excellent results. The product is seen as a valuable investment, providing access to multiple AI models under a single subscription. However, some customers noted dissatisfaction with the credit system, finding it confusing and credit-intensive, particularly after the removal of free daily credits. A few also mentioned that the new interface became clunky and harder to navigate post-rebranding, leading to a perceived loss of control over selecting specific AI models.

Everything I could ever need!

I've been using Magica for months now, when it was still Galaxy.ai. I often find myself immersed in several different projects or creative ideas, sometimes simultaneously and sometimes I hit a brick wall.

When I do graphic design, Magica's image tools may present a baseline to start from, which gets me past that initial hump.

When my C# code gets dyslexic, Magica's Claude implementation is often there to tell me, "Yo silly, your code is backwards, fix it ya goober!"

15 million tokens seems like a bit, and is more than adequate if you only use AI occasionally, but I sometimes find myself wishing I had more credits, and a refund/partial refund function when the resulting generation didn't give the desired result despite a strong prompt.

Still, having so many tools all in one place and with one bill is amazing.

Galaxy.ai Rebrand to Magica is a…

Galaxy.ai Rebrand to Magica is a Massive Value Downgrade and Credit Trap

Avoid this platform. As a legacy Galaxy.ai subscriber, the transition to Magica has been a disaster.

Lost Data: They migrated the platform without notifying users, completely wiping out my saved work and custom characters. Customer support has been entirely useless in resolving this.

Forced Credit Drain: Under the old Galaxy.ai model, 50M credits comfortably lasted me all month, even with heavy image and video generation. Magica has replaced the standard 1:1 model with forced "Super Agent" loops. When you type a simple text question, the backend runs 3 to 5 recursive iterations, repeatedly overwriting the answer on your screen and draining millions of credits in minutes for the exact same information. I burned through a full monthly allowance plus a $20 top-up in a single day just doing text chat—no images, no video. My habits didn't change; Magica's architecture did, seemingly designed to aggressively drain customer wallets. Your options are Super Agent chat or Advanced. Advanced is just Super Agent chat with even more iterations per. There is no 1:1 option. I'm glad I didn't buy a lifetime subscription. I thought about it, but now I feel completely ripped off and am currently looking for an alternative.

A Must-Have for Serious Content Creators

've been using Magica heavily for video content production across two YouTube channels. The image generation models are top-tier for cinematic realism, and having image-to-video, audio, and editing tools in one place is a genuine time-saver. The platform keeps improving with new model updates regularly. Credit costs can add up fast on ambitious projects, but the quality output justifies the investment. Recommended for serious content creators.

I have been using Magic since Dec 2025 and was happy to move my personal OpenAI work to this platform. I even set up a business account for my team at my office. Do yourself a favor and sign up now. The number of different tools that are available is incredible.

I've been using Magica since before the rebrand from Galaxy, and my experience has been consistently excellent. The transition was smooth, and the platform has only improved over time.
Pros:
• Reliable performance that has remained stable through the rebrand
• Intuitive interface that didn't require relearning after the update
• Continued commitment to quality and user experience
Cons:
• None significant worth mentioning
Overall: Whether you knew it as Galaxy or know it as Magica now, this is a solid platform that delivers. Long-term users like myself can attest that the team behind it clearly prioritizes consistency and improvement. Highly recommended for both new and returning users.

The recent rebranding and platform…

The recent rebranding and platform change was supposed to be an improvement. I think it was a huge mistake. They were unique but now like all the other multi platforms out there and not as good. Poor experience and execution. Too bad it was an excellent alternative and actually my preference before now I rarely use it. The only reason I do is I have a life time subscription. Too bad. They should have left the other tools and just added the new as an option. Dumb move.

AI Intensive Producer

As a film producer, like many canceling other programs and platforms to utilize everything in one place at my discretion, it was a great idea. All of a sudden, I woke up and the landscape had completely changed. I don't need an agent to create my creator process. I'm offended that the company had the audacity to take away the ability up free choice. I feel sorry for those who purchased the lifetime program. I waited to see what would happen before investing my dollars into a new company. I will be moving my product to a different company. That gives me my freedom to choose my own tools. You're forcing users to utilize the chat platform and anthropic is extremely expensive. It's one of the best chat programs, but it's easier to pay twenty dollars a month to the creator have it assist you with your prompt and cut and pasted into the tool. I don't need any computer assisting. Me, what's art direction?Movement direction camera direction. You took away our freedom and i'm very unhappy. I can't wait to share with my twenty five thousand followers.

The Rebrand and Support is HORRIBLE

I loved it for a while but the rebrand is absolutely HORRIBLE.. I cancelled other plans to use it since for a while it was perfect.. I was actually using the SAME thread for a project and suddenly on 5/27 at approx 8 am it went from normal charges per response to charging me .50 million credits PER text response that was pulling nothing and ones where it pulled any code 1.2 million or more. I reached out to tech and they said oh it's using them.. without even looking to see WHY suddenly when I hadn't changed any usage it jumped more than 1000x, it used 80 MILLION credits in less than 2 days. on a chat.. something my $20 a month pro claude plan would have done more than 1000x over what I was working with. there was ZERO image or video generation just code.. so some serious bug on the back end and I can't get anyone to look at it..or at least not in a timely manner.. ohh and it's $1 per million so it used $80 in less than 2 days on ONLY chat. I literally have all the evidence showing that a tiny text chat charged me .50 million. that is not user error.. that's a serious issue on their end.. I used to like it but I'm literally disgusted with the way they are not handling or caring at all for this.

I recently used Magica

I recently used Magica and had a positive experience overall. The platform was easy to navigate, and I appreciated how quickly I was able to access the features I needed. The interface felt intuitive, making it simple to get started without a steep learning curve. I found the tools to be useful, reliable, and capable of helping me complete tasks more efficiently. While there is always room for improvement, my experience with Magica has been smooth and productive, and I would recommend it to others looking for a practical and user-friendly solution.

MAGICA HAS SPOILED ME IN TERMS OF AI

MAGICA HAS SPOILED ME IN TERMS OF AI, IM NOT VERY TECHNOPHILIC BY ANYMEANS SO ITS EASY INTERFACE AND CLEAR NAVIGATIONS IT WASNT AS OVERWHELMING AS IT FIRST SEEMED. I WAS ABIT BUT OFF AT THE SHEER AMOUNT ON OFFER BUT IT WALKED ME THROUGH EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS DOING WHAT SKILLS IT WAS ENGAGING IN SO IT WAS LIKE SEEING SOMEONES THOUGHT PROCESS, THAT ALSO MADE IT EASIER TO TRACK WHERE ERRORS OR MISSUNDERSTANDINGS WERE OCCURING, THE ANSWERS IT PRODUCED AND ITS OUTCOMES WERE VERY HIGH QUALITY AD VERY RARELY NOT EXACTLY WHAT I ASKED FOR IT GOT TO THE POINT NOW WHERE EVEN WHEN USING OTHER AIS I STILL WILL ASK MAGICA TO ENSURE I GET THE MOST ACCURATE AND DETAILED ANSWERS. IT CAN SOMTIMES TAKE LONGER IF PROMPTS ARE COMPLEX, HOWEVER WHEN PRODUCING DOWNLOADABLE DOCUMENTS OR BUILDING ON FILES IT PROVIDES SOME OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY IN DEPTH WORK THAT WOULD TAKE ME HOURS OR EVEN DAYS TO PUT TOGETHER

Be careful of paying for Magica

Be care of paying for Magica. I bought a lifetime subscription when it was still Galaxy.ai with the understanding they would be an AI tool aggregator but that I could pick and chose the model I would use. I was especially enamored with the ability to do a chat arena. They have now moved all this to their "Old UI" which looks like they're trying to deprecate this function in favor of their "Super Agent". Be wary of paying for this until we see where they go.
