Has anyone ordered and received…

Has anyone ordered and received silenthill 2 ps5 with steel book from GAME.co.uk ?
I pre-ordered mine weeks before release date only to have the game turn up followed by a letter saying they didn't have any more steel books in stock but they will send the out when they get more, I have finally managed to contact them only to be told they don't have them anymore but they can offer me £5 as a good will gesture. (Although they are still advertising them for sale online)
I'm wondering if maybe they didn't have any at all and only used it as a ploy to get more sales.

Awfull sales tactics and customer service

Forcefull upsale. The staff was aware I had little money as asked them for the cheapest pack of Pokemon cards. They return with 3 and in front of my child say 3 for 2. Hold on I wanted one. Then they pull out a big shiny card. If you spend over £20 you get this. Thanks making my kid excited now I’m having to buy him that much because if I don’t he will be upset and I only see him for a few hours a fortnight so will ruin this visit. Thanks game. Then on contact there auto net service to complain I was made to feel like it was my fault and I didn’t have to buy anything (true) but was they gonna deal with an upset 4 year old? I have used this company for many years but this has put me right off. So disappointing

Terrible in-store and online customer service

My partner popped into our local Game store to grab me a copy of FF7.
There was a til issue, so she could not use my points or scan my barcode to acquire them from the transaction.
As a person who doesn’t typically shop at Game, my partner obviously asked for some detail (so that she could explain things to me properly) and was rudely shut down with a blunt comment about how if the til isn’t working there’s nothing I can do….

Apart from take money, obviously.

Now I know she can’t strike up the same “nerdy” banter than I can, to better communicate with the game-enthusiasts that typically make up the staff, but I’m sure she still deserves to leave the store feeling like her custom was valued.

Contacted Game customer service who very promptly added the points for my purchase, which was great… thank you, but ignored my complaint at how my partner had been spoken too.
When I went back to them and politely explained that I was disappointed and that as a result I would no longer be shopping with them, they simply replied with “thanks for letting us know, enjoy the rest of your day”.

Its good to see that the company is doing so well that its staff can just actively drive away custom.

Very poor customer service from Chloe…

Very poor customer service from Chloe and Siphelele at Game customer services, after waiting very patiently for weeks for someone to be even bothered to reply then told to wait again, I spent more time being pleasant and hoping for common sense to prevail, to be offered a measly £10 gift card after waiting a whole month for a resolve.. needless to say they were kindly suggested to offer the amount to charity and say goodbye to any future business from myself. Which was then quickly met with, we'd be more than happy to delete your Game account and is there anything else I could help you with today.....Absolutely horrendous,thank you for showing your company's true thoughts on customer service. Hopefully you will win the award for poor service for many years to come.

Terrible customer service i ordered 18th December paid £9.99 next day delivery well its the 23rd today and its not even been dispatched!! Done live chat 6 times same rubbish replys that i have to be patient and its waiting for the courier to collect from them ! Patience is wearing thin its the same message again and again never ever will i order from them again my boy will be without his game for Christmas!! And the joke is you can still order the same game says get it by tomorrow with next day delivery good luck !!

Shocking customer service!

Shocking customer service!
Order placed 15 November and received by Evri 16 November - And there it stayed as 'we've got your order'. Contacted Game through WhatsApp who said they would investigate and needed 7-10 days. Item was needed as a present for the week after ordering.
Tried to contact Game after 10 days on several occasions but no satisfactory outcome. I then sent an email and was told they couldn't discuss with me as I did not place the order (I did!). My husband then sent an email and was told they couldn't speak to him as he didn't place the order!
We were then advised it would take 30 days to investigate.
A WhatsApp message was received saying there was already an on-going investigation into the order and we were slowing down their response time by asking what was happening. We were made to feel that we were the problem by asking about our undelivered item.
I have now received a refund (13 Dec) and will definitely not be spending anymore of my money with this company.

Do not buy from GAME you have been warned …

I'm experiencing terrible service from GAME
customer service is terrible order 3 items on 7th Dec nothing dispatched prob will not come for Xmas. I've sent 6 emails and same customer agent gets back to me called Chelse with patronising I'm sorry your frustrated but repeats same email with no details on it. Submitted tickets waste of time also nothing being done
They are clearly not interested I wish I checked the reviews to see how bad it's got, I now see why shops have closed.
Thankfully I bought on credit card so in a few days I will contact them to reclaim my money
Game you are a disgrace don't even ask me to make another ticket I've done enough and you don't answer them
Be honest with people if you cannot deliver the goods refund us so we can go elsewhere

In the interest of fairness parcel has arrived today 16th December, I ordered it on 7th and paid delivery absolutely shocking
My rating staying same due to the customer services is absolutely appalling
I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN AND I CAN SEE 2HY YOU WENT BUST GOOD LUCK.

Purchased a PS5 console

Purchased a PS5 console, extra controller and three games and unfortunately the extra controller was never delivered. Contacted GAME via chat bot service, which just keeps asking you for the same information over again. I have emailed, no real response just the standard 'we have received your email'. My son could not play with his brother on his birthday present and I am left £50 with no extra controller and nobody seems to care or take responsibility for helping me to find a solution. Can't believe this company can just treat customers like this and get away with it. I have made contact with BBC Watchdog and my local radio station to advise me further.

Ordered a PS5 which was in stock only…

Ordered a PS5 which was in stock only to find they had sold out and it was likely to be 15 days for it to arrive. My frustration is I’m unable to cancel the order. There are no contact numbers and web chat doesn’t take you to a human. Item arrived and click the link to complete an online return request and the link has expired , utterly hopeless. Time wasted and the return postage which I have to pay.

Save yourself the bother - don't use

Save yourself the bother and shop with someone that actually cares. Waited 11 days for a response for a faulty product complaint - after 2 online bot "conversations" and was asked for all of my details again. Couldn't be bothered to pursue in the end. Will just shop elsewhere.

Honestly the worst service possible

Honestly the worst service possible. Ordered a game by accident for the wrong platform. Tried to resolve straight away. I just cannot cancel this order. The online bot never leads you to an actual person that can deal with your complaint. Come on GAME, SORT YOURSELVES OUT.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. There is no telephone number. They have the worst bot chat imaginable. The in store clerk was completely clueless and unhelpful. All I want to know is how to add my Game reward points to an online order. That should be obvious but it is not. Once I've managed to use my points, I'll never use Game again. Frankly the company deserves to be eaten by Amazon. It is unhelpful, more expensive and the customer services leaves you wanting to throw yourself off the nearest cliff.

Shocking service
Ordered a game on 4th Oct 2022 for my sons birthday, it's now 31st Oct 2022 and Game as still refusing to refund. They can see that the item is still with the courier and as they don't have a Customer Service and they don't reply to emails etc I have had to raise a dispute via PayPal. Still had to wait over 2 weeks for a response to say they will contact the courier and once they get the parcel back for the courier they will refund me... JOKE.... AVOID THEIR ONLINE SITE AT ALL COST OR YOU MAY BE VERY DISAPPOINTED 😥

Terrible terrible terrible. Bought a ps5 online used the next day delivery service (£11.99) three days late!! Still waiting.
No number to ring, staff don’t get back to you through email. Used twitter to complain , apparently someone is looking into it , not heard anything all day .

Never using game again in store or online . How can I company not have a number to ring when there’s a problem !!!!!

Faulty Xbox Controller

Bought over years lots of gear and games from game. 1st controller fell to bits they wouldn’t replace it so called head office who called shop to do replacement. Anyway bought a brand new Xbox console two weeks later the controller while online with friends it started with the jack was to big so the headset wouldn’t work shop said nothing wrong with it because they would be stuck with faulty controller so now game have no head office number you can’t phone them never will I buy from these scammers again..
