Ignoring UK Consumer Rights – Refund Refused Within 30 Days

I would strongly advise caution when purchasing from this company.

I purchased a clipper blade which failed after just two weeks of normal professional use. When I contacted the company, I requested a refund in line with my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, as the item was clearly not of satisfactory quality or reasonably durable.

Despite this, the company repeatedly refused to provide a refund and insisted that they had the right to offer a replacement instead. This is incorrect. Under UK law, if a product develops a fault within 30 days, the customer has a short-term right to reject the goods and receive a full refund.

They also attempted to rely on their own warranty policy, stating that blades are not covered. This is misleading, as a company’s warranty does not override a consumer’s statutory rights.

I explained this clearly, but they continued to push back and suggest misuse without providing any evidence. The burden of proof is on the retailer in these situations, not the customer.

Overall, this felt like an attempt to pressure me into accepting a replacement rather than honouring my legal right to a refund.

I am now pursuing the matter through my bank.

Very disappointing experience and not what I would expect from a professional retailer.

I bought a gamma cyborg trimmer. This thing is the biggest piece of garbage I’ve ever had in my life total junk with a company that stands behind nothing. Junk junk, junk junk throat in the trash.

Brand New Faulty clippers. Refund refund or fix refused

Not too sure where to post this review. Brought clippers through chris&sons, came faulty, really loud and kept jamming in clients hair. Being a barber of 10 years and using numerous clippers. Even the older version of this clipper I know when they are not working properly. Sent back and was told that there was no issue and was not faulty and they couldnt replicate the issue, they clearly barely tried. I even sent videos of the clippers compared to my previous old model and the new ones were much louder and was told its just how they sound and I can't get a refund as they are not faulty... well why would I lie. They don't go through clients hair so they are not fit for purpose. Found the reason to the noise, due to faulty rear body and screw not threading the top lid properly. Sent this video off to explain and get help as I accepted I clearly was not getting a refund and have just been ignored. Disgusting.

Total waste of money on a clipper would never purchase gamma again.

I bought clippers in January and blade…

I bought clippers in January and blade bracket has snapped and The screw turning by itself, we cannot tighten the screw.
I paid £235 for clippers there is 1 year warranty I emailed they send me link to order another blade bracket do not buy gamma clippers don’t waste your money

I ordered a Gamma Clipper directly from…

I ordered a Gamma Clipper directly from Gamma plus UK, but the parcel was lost in transit by DHL. I contacted DHL, and they confirmed the item is missing. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to reach Gamma Più UK via phone and email, but I’ve received no response whatsoever.

It’s incredibly frustrating to be ignored when all I want is a replacement or refund for an item I paid for but never received. I expected better customer service, especially for a professional product like this.

Faulty. Appalling customer service. Avoid

Same as another review on here.
Bought Gamma + Boosted clippers.
Faulty product from the start, got it repaired with passive aggression from the repair centre, then it died a week or 2 before the end of warranty. (I was having difficulty getting into them as a screw was threaded and that delayed me contacted them as I didn't want to waste their time if it was just clogged)
Customer service started good but they ignored further contact after wrongly decided my issue was with the repair centre after misreading my emails.
When finally back in contact they were rude, refused to assist, clearly hadn't read my emails explaining the motor had stopped, and doubled down about a side issue, without even addressing the product broke within a year.
The last contact, they said I was a single day out of warranty when I contacted them (after they said in the first email I was fine, as I'd contacted them in reply to the dispatch email a year prior) and now am left unread and ignored.
No phone number. No complaints dept. I've asked for it to be escalated but no reply.
Awful awful company. Avoid at all costs.

The clippers are not cheap for them to have so many issues and then die within a year.

Absolute terrible experience from the…

Absolute terrible experience from the start. I order Absolute Hitter Trimmer about 12 months ago. I started using it as set from the factory it and it kept catching my skin so bad I would get about 4 5 cuts on my neck every time I try to line up my beard. I contacted the company and I was offered 0 support. Twelve months later this machine became completely unusable the blade moves so slow and it stops in about 1 or 2 minutes later. I contact them again and I was only offered a payable service option. This is disgrace this product is obviously with production issue this is a 100£ clipper that lasted 12 months. My 80£ Andis is 10 years and still running like new. This is fraud at its finnest. I advise you to look elsewhere if you got 100 bucks for trimmer. This is not your place and they have zero care about their clients.

I ordered the absolute hitter and it did not live to my expectations.
It was seen on social media that it hits if as it was spreading butter but when i tried it today it did not even line up a customers beard. I would like to return the product because of what happened today.

Top Service.

I ordered some clippers from Gammapro.co.uk but sadly there was a small issue with the product but Vicky went all out to resolve the matter. Not only did she give me a 20% discount Vicky also sent out extra accessories and replacement parts. Absolutely a great customer service from these guys. I would buy again from Gammapro.co.uk and I would highly recommend them also...thank you.
