I’ve had to spend £1600 putting my car right after using one of this company’s turbos. Turbo failed after 40 miles, had it tested and it flagged several errors including an internal crack which inevitably leaked oil. GAP will not refund me or even entertain the 24 month warranty the turbo should have been sold with. Will take them to court, please avoid them at all costs - literally! Absolute thieves.

Gap Turbos helped me by supplying and fitting the incorrect turbo to my car. I spent over £1000 with other companies testing other components on the vehicle to The take it to the Main Dealer/manufacturer. Within minutes they advised incorrect turbo was fitted. GAP insisted they had the correct one on. They’ve have had my car 3 times for a total of 9 weeks in a 6 month period and denied responsibility for making an error and refused to fit the correct turbo. Court action will proceed. They sent me a letter recently telling me they will counter claim against me for £600 for their wasted time...! Well my car has the correct turbo and runs correctly now. I think I have wasted my time (6 months in total) which i will also claim for.

Gap turbos are biggest rip-offs done my dpf Nissan Qashqai payed £400 cleaning but they never cleaned it they dilled in to my dpf my car was not running right i take it Nissan dealership look in to it and they said my dpf is no good because dpf was dilled and cost
me £1900 to put it right dont leave your car with gap turbo
This is a dishonourable company. I wish i’d read other customer reviews on other review sites before buying a turbo from them. Like many others have said, the turbo only lasted a week and my warranty hasn’t been honoured. I will have to take them to court to get my money back. Do not waste your money or time in buying one of their turbos, spend the money on a brand new one which will serve you well. This company also trade under the name British Turbo Parts so please avoid them as they are very untrustworthy.
