Ordered John Guest pipe out of stock - no refund received

Ordered John Guest pipe, after no delivery (10 days) I contacted them and was informed that they were out of stock and was assured that a credit would be made. Contacted on 2 further occasions after no credit received and assured that the credit would be made on each occasion. After waiting 4 weeks plus I have made a claim via my credit card. Tried to call before making claim and constantly engaged. Terrible service

John Guest Air Kit not delivered. No communication from them.

I ordered a John Guest Kit on the 4th January. The website indicated delivery in 2-3 working days. That date came, and went, with no communication from them whatsoever.
I emailed for an update on 10th January – they did not reply. I phoned for an update on Monday 17th January. They claimed the goods were on back order and promised to call me back - They didn't call back.
I phoned on Tuesday 18th January. They claimed that the goods were due in Stock the next day and would be sent out as soon as they arrived. It is now a week later, and I still do not have the goods. I am now contacting my bank to get the money back.

Goods not received, poor service

I am very disappointed that my order for J Guest Pipework still has not turned up, despite assurances. Customer service leaves much to be desired.

I was told emphatically this this had shipped on the Tuesday following order. It didn’t turn up Weds as promised, was promised a call back which didn’t happen.

Only to be told Thursday that ‘Fed-Ex had lost it’. Fine. Apparently shipped another on Thursday for delivery Friday which again didn’t turn up and despite a couple of phone calls and the promise of a call back with a tracking number I received neither.

I was also told that Fed-Ex regularly looses things but the management aren’t interested in doing anything about it..

Typical of small British companies old-school attitude to service, the phone then went unanswered from about 3:30 pm on Friday, presumably everyone having ‘knocked off early’.

NOT good enough. It is no wonder that Amazon is outcompeting everyone. I have made all the effort here to try to sort this out. I needed parts for this weekend and was very clear about this with their representative. If they didn't have the stock/couldn't ship then they should have informed me and I could make alternative arrangements.
