Nick from Gas Tec Solutions came to cap off my gas hob, and I was immediately impressed by his professionalism and attention to detail. As part of their standard service, he carried out a thorough safety check—and thank goodness he did. He detected a gas leak in my boiler that could have easily gone unnoticed. Although I already had a British Gas service contract, Nick didn’t just walk away—he made the boiler safe on the spot, allowing me to get the issue fully resolved the next day.

If I hadn’t had that contract with BG, I’d have trusted him to fix it without hesitation. The care and expertise he showed were second to none. This company didn’t just provide a service—they quite literally safeguarded my home.

A very good job done with no problems

The engineer fitted our new Baxi boiler in 1 day, working an extremely long day to get it finished for us.
Our pipes, tanks and other stuff was ancient and obsolete.
Not now.
He also explained and updated as he went.
Recommend him very highly

Anthony upgraded my aging conventional boiler system to a combi system (Baxi).

He came round, listened to the problems we had and what we wanted to achieve and he gave his honest recommendation, taking into consideration everything we spoke of.

He wasn't pushy and knew his stuff, and came to the house a couple of times on my request. He's very knowledgeable with everything I asked him, and I do ask alot of questions!

His work was excellent, VERY conscientious, clean and tidy and left the house in a presentable and livable way at the end of every day.

He took away all the old parts of the boiler and cylinder and disconnected and made good all the unwanted pipes in the airing cupboard and loft.

And the after service is excellent also! I had a minor issue )that I had caused I might add!) I called and he was there that afternoon to explain what I did wrong and the rectify.

And just a few weeks ago, I receive a text from Ant to remind me the boiler needs servicing, no need for me to remember to chase him...making it easy to get the new boiler serviced.

He also fitted a vanity unit and sink without any fuss also.

For me, I would always call Anthony first for any plumbing, gas and heating issues or projects or new installations I might have.

We recently had a disaster with our boiler, it was the cold period. We still got three quotes to compare the services available and found that there was a similar service available, but there was a big difference in price. We asked friends who also had the Baxi boiler, and they gave glowing reports, so decided to go with Gas Tex, a local small company, who,s price was the best on offer. He turned up at exactly the time he said he would, he worked hard all day, was pleasant and patient with us showing us how to work it. We have so far been very pleased with the Baxi boiler and would recommend both the Baxi and the company called Gas Tec. We have recently had a problem with an unrelated plumbing issue, we had no hesitation and rang Gas Tec who came out on the day and sorted our problem.

We have used Gas Tec several times and each time they have been very good at the jobs done, Gas Tec replaced our boiler in 2015 with a new baxi boiler we were very impressed with the service and solution provided and the cost was good too compared to other gas engineers. Would highly recommend them.
