Please DO NOT waste your time/money with GAT Guns, Inc
I called G.A.T. Guns,Inc located at 970 Dundee Ave East Dundee,Illinois 60118 847-428-4867 president Gregory Tropino on 23 May 2018(Weds). Spoke with Chuck who quoted me one price(when I asked for the total pricing) and then Chuck took a deposit of $100 from my credit card. On 04 June 2018(Tues-14 days later) the weapon arrived at GAT Guns,Inc so I was making arrangements to pick up my weapon when the final pick up cost changed. Now GAT Guns,Inc wants to charge a $5 background fee(when I ordered the weapon from GAT Guns,Inc) and not to mention Chuck NEVER added the sales tax in the cost(when I specifically asked for the total cost which should have included the tax). I could have purchased from Texas and saved money, but GAT Guns,Inc indicated that they could get faster locally. Then the manager comes on the phone and we have words(I told her that this was terrible business when now you change figures AFTER my weapon arrives). I hung up on the manager after agreeing to pay the changed figures and I told her that I would NEVER buy from GAT Guns,Inc again PLUS I would be telling the world about this TERRIBLE experience. The manager called me back and stated that she would NOT be selling me the weapon and wanted to mail me a check for my deposit(when the deposit was taken from my credit card)......WASTE OF TIME
Before calling GAT Guns,Inc I was going to order my weapon from Texas that's why I asked for final pricing to make a sound decision. As of to date I had to buy my weapon from Texas, BUT I save $50 and the BEST thing is GAT Guns,Inc DID NOT get my money. I hope they go out of business and we as gun owners can help make it happen. PLEASE do NOT waste your time nor money with GAT Guns,Inc.
