I dont like giving bad reviews but i feel this is necessary for other customers thinking of visiting the shop. I paid a visit to their shop this afternoon to spend some of my well earned money. I see a wagon i want, i checked the price on the label and decide i want to buy it. Now this is where they have lost a future customer. The label on the shelf stated one price and at the till another, i informed the quite frankly cockey sales assistant of the the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, for which he informed me that i was wrong. I suggest that all staff be given relevant training, improve their customer service and promptly update shelf prices when changed. I have attached some photos one of the receipt and one of the label that was on shelf. Yes the amount is minimal but its not the point and for this reason i will take my money else where ps you will find the proof photos on my google reveiw

It was a pleasure to order from gaugemasters as I used to order from them many years ago. The best thing was that it was still trading after all those years after so many have failed.

I purchased a Dapol Gaugemaster Class 73 in N gauge from GM through my local model shop. After testing it I found it to be faulty so I was told that I had to take it back to my local shop and they could return it to GM with the appropriate paperwork. My model shop duly sent it off with a request for a replacement. After a number of phone calls he was told that Gaugemaster were happy to replace it. However they would not send the replacement straightaway but add it to the next order that the shop placed!! As the shop had only recently received an order from GM that could have been up to a month before I got my loco!! I did phone GM myself and was told that I couldn't deal with the matter and that only my local shop, who had already tried a number of times could deal with it!!! Amazingly just after my phone call my local shop got a call apologising for the problem and that the loco was being sent Tracked 24!! Why did it take it all the hassle to get this simple resolution!!!!!

Was very disappointed with the size and content of the 2 small magazines I ordered.
