Limited Flexibility for International Participants

I paid USD 600 to register for a Global Conference and completed all requirements in good faith. Due to U.S. embassy visa appointment timelines beyond my control, I was unable to attend the scheduled conference.

I did not request a refund or transfer to another person. I only asked to defer my paid registration to a future conference date. This request was declined under a strict non-deferral policy. Instead, I was offered a 50% discount to pay again for a future event, despite no service being rendered under the original registration.

While communication was polite and visa documents were provided, I believe international participants should be aware of the lack of flexibility regarding deferrals when visa delays occur.
