I’ve had the worst experience ever using Raenest or Geegpay and it’s really been bad. Their support ignores users unless they are being called out on Twitter and then they come with their useless automated response asking you to check your DM and then they ghost you.
Shee also does a similar ghosting via email even after providing the documents and information he/she requests for.
It’s been a really heartbreaking experience for me and I have andviced all my mentees and colleagues to switch to any other reliable platform.
I deposited $3,023, and my funds have now been on hold for four days. I responded promptly to every email you sent and provided all the accurate information you requested. Despite this, my funds are still being held.
I would like my money to be refunded immediately. This is the first time I have ever experienced an issue like this, and I am very disappointed with how long it has taken to resolve.

I received an email 3 days ago stating that my account had been temporarily suspended and I should contact support, I did, 3 days later, no response from support, so I decided to speak to them via live chat on the app, thankfully they responded and requested for some documents, which I sent to them, only for me to try to login today and discover I’ve been locked out and should contact support (obviously via email since I’ve been locked out of the app), the same support that I contacted 3 days ago with no response, I don’t even know what to do at this point. Please how do I get my money out, I was literally saving on that platform and sent monies there from my bank, how stupid of me. Please help. Help Help Help.
Raenest has held my funds for days despite advertising on their platform and socials that Upwork fast-track payments get done within an hour. The whole payment delay has not been addressed in any way. They keep sending vague responses on the app and social media (x.com). There are more than 200 people within my circle, and 98% complain of the same issue. I am done with Raenest for sure. There are many other options, and this is just the worst of them all.

As an online bank entrusted with people's hard-earned money, customer service should be a top priority. Customers trust you without ever stepping into a physical office, so responsiveness and reliability are non-negotiable.
Unfortunately, Raenest has become one of the most disappointing financial platforms I have used. The company delivered a much better experience when it operated as Geegpay. Since the transition to the Raenest brand, the quality of service appears to have declined significantly.
For freelancers who depend on timely support and reliable banking services, I can no longer recommend this platform. Customer inquiries go unanswered, support is practically nonexistent, and users are left stranded when issues arise.
The most frustrating part is not even the problems themselves, it's the silence. When a financial institution stops communicating with its customers, trust disappears.
For me, it's time to move on and look for better alternatives.
Very very very very very bad service. They will withdhold your funds for weeks. They have by far the worst customer service any fintech company has ever had, in the history of fintech. Custoemr support will leave your complaints unanswered for weeks but you will see that they are still active. This company is a potential fraudulent company and should be monitored by the authorities. They are illegally withholding people’s hard earned money even as little as $100. If you think I’m joking please go to their twitter page and check the comments. They are thieves. Avoid them at all costs.

I used to love Raenest and was a genuinely loyal customer. However, after my recent experience, I honestly can't see myself using the platform again.
An Upwork Fast Track payment that should have been credited has still not reflected in my account, even though it's been almost a week. What has made the situation worse is the customer support experience. You wait up to 24 hours for a response, and before you know it, a simple issue turns into weeks of back-and-forth emails.
Imagine if this were an emergency and you needed urgent assistance to block your account because of a security threat. The lack of timely support would leave customers stranded.

Signed up with the Raenest company. However, after verification of my identity details, the suspended my account on ground that I used multiple phone numbers to sign up. Replying to my email, they listed all the requirements needed for verification of my account, which I did by correcting the phone numbers, documenting passport, BVN, and making shot video highlighting what I want to do with account. I offer Freelance services via Tiktok streaming, and the pursuit of my education, yet none of the customer agents responded to me again. At the moment, the account remains suspended without any tangible reasons after the stress I went through in correcting errors made when signing up the app. It was a mistake made when the first phone number I used was not fetching codes sent to it by the app. Fed up with the the phone's compromise, I decided to use my second phone number to sign up. I explained all these issues in the email I sent to Raenest customer service or company. Therefore, I can't rate Raenest services because my interests have not been secured on their app. Thanks
My housemate was receiving some significant amount of money, they blocked it, the money did not even reflect on his account. They began asking for verification, after submitting all they asked for they did not release his funds, he asked them to just refund the transfer back to the sender so he uses another fintech app to receive his funds, they were still delaying later they said it will take 5 - 15 days. Other fintech apps will just reverse the funds but they just keep delaying finding excuses to make it seem the issue is from his end, but he provided documents they asked for, waiting to see if they refund his money. He wants to pay his rent but due to this delay, our landlord is already thinking of evicting us. I signed up for an account with them but I am skeptical of using them now due to this issue.
I have been using Geegpay for 3 years now and I absolutely Love their services. Mind you I started using Geegpay at about the same time I started using Grey and Chipper but Those two don't come any close. The transaction speed is amazing, their customer service is super reliable, there was a time i received payment that's above my account limit and for that the money was frozen, I quickly used the in-app chat box and their team helped with increasing my account limit once I provided all verification docs they requested. Asides this, I also prefer Geegpay because of their lower transaction fees and Naira to dollar conversion rates. Very6 good experience so far
I have being so skeptical with this bank and they have just confirmed my suspicious. I sent 348,800 to my account at raenest they, it did not reflect at all.so I just lost 348,000 working with this bank, every time I would contact customer support for one case or the other. I'm really frustrated . And I have reached their customer service to attend to this very slow response, to be honest I'm just scared of losing my money to this bank

I decided to use this platform to pay for something online, I sent small money it went through the moment I sent someone my Nigerian account number so I can buy USD and the person sent up to 200k it did not reflect customer support slow honestly if they did not refund that money i would consider this bank the biggest scam, right now I'm busy genuinely annoyed and pissed that I ever know a platform like this exist at all.

They are fraudulent. Do not trust them.
When I tried sending money from my payoneer to the dollar account they provided when you go through the process of getting one, they immediately locked the dashboard and revoked my access to the money. They claimed they needed me to update My BVN. A string of numbers you are given only once and cannot change. A number they have as they require it to open a bank account with them. Update it to what? I try putting in the same numbers. They say update service is not available. They hold the money on their terms. They manufacture a reason without solution and they don't help resolve it. They remind me of PayPal where money can just be taken away. Their customer service will only give you generic answers they had printed out for all questions. This is basically like shady loan shark companies do.
By the way, their actions are illegal in my country. Without express reason you can't witholding customer's access to their money. If you make a reason, say you require a document, you are supposed to provide a way for them to give it to you within 4 hours or else, it is illegal. But they don't care. They make the rules without explanation, they change it as they like and your money is up for them to do with as they like.
So, I have made reports, but the system here is slow so, lawyers away.
If you make the mistake of using their platform, get a lawyer too. As you will need it soon.
I got to know them when they started sending me unsolicited ad message on LinkedIn then,When the app changed from Geegpay to Raenest, the app program structure changed in a way to collect sensitive data from the user. I initially thought the owners were going broke to be behaving as such . Seeing other users complain, I came to see they just mutated into some data brokerage for who knows what—unprofessional. If you use the service with an account having ACH banking, there is no issue, but the moment they see any reason or issue with your account, your funds are no longer safe. If there is no issue, they will create one for you and ask for unnecessary documents just to sit on your funds.they made me believe my NIN was having issues,I should contact local authority but nothing as such,they have programmed their engine to operate as required by law, but if you give them any reason by seeking support, they think as if most users are too lazy to sue them ,they pounce on your funds, that is worst than fraudulent,I will advise anyone with serious business ethics to avoid these guys like plague if you don't want your business to suffer. The service will prey on you.
