Huge variety, honest descriptions. Something for everyone. Only downside is that you might have to wait over 20+ days for cost effective shipping, before your little gems arrive.

I am sure that you do your best to offer genuine,natural,and untreated gem stones to ones who are expecting to buy such gem stones,and you have made necessary arrangements to negotiate with buyers bona fide.
My opinion is always insist sellers to collect their oayments by PayPal as it protects the buyer,and seller as well,and who ever does not abide is unreliable,and brings
discredit to Gem Rocks,and also please make insurance,and shipping (Tracked) mandatory.

I have found Gem Rock Auctions (GRA) a great platform for finding gem dealers of very high calibre. I note : TLCGems, Gemland, FoxHopGems & Gems 2000 as particular favourites. I have bought from each & have also done returns for refund without problem.
TLC is a particular favourite. Terri provides friendly, personal service & offers a wealth of knowledge on sourcing high quality gemstones on request. Her gems are a cut above. GRA only allow the most forthright to sell on their site & these mentioned, especially TLC are truly of the first water.

I have had dealings with Gemrock and TLC Gems over several years: I know the site to be fully aware of their obligations to consumers and taking all steps to safeguard in what is a complex market ..stones can be affected by any manner of assessments depending on the local market, origin, and not least personal taste..like paintings. TLC have always placed great store on cutting and some stones enhanced by skilled cutting will carry a premium. In my experience even stones fully certified by companies not known to the buyer's locality, dealers or auction houses will not carry huge sway with the latter so at the end of the day it is whether you trust TLC gems 'assessment and belief in their offerings and I do. I ordered several stones on this website through different sellers.
This website has different quality levels of stones.
So far my favorites are : Shangri la gems and TLC gems.
They both are very professional, kind and patient.
TLC is dealing more with high quality gems and I have purchased 6 stones with them.
I am very happy with the clarity and cut and you can also find some special specimens in their shop.
Shangri La is dealing with special gems as well, has a lot of variety but gems more affordable.
Not all the dealers are so cooperative and patient to answer your questions.
So I think I’ll stick with those two.

I have to say, Gemrock Auctions holds the utmost integrity of its dealers, all having been screened and are well seasoned and governed body of dealers.

There is a great deal of fraud in the gem world, but I have never sensed nor found fraud with Gemrock Auctions. Outside dealers, even on eBay place a buyer at risk.

If there is ever a question or unhappy purchase Gemrock is attentive and will resolve issues. There’s always a time period to return a gemstone if a blurry is unhappy, and full refund given.

I have purchased several stones through this auction site and have not been dissatisfied. No store is above customer service and the satisfaction for a customer.

TLC, Foxhop, Gemland are just a sampling of the finest business owners I can recommend. I have done business with each and will time and time again when I buy gemstones. Top notch people run these businesses.

I've purchased from Terri at TLC gems and she is nothing short of amazing! I bought a tourmaline from her and she was very quick to respond, very informative, the stone is GORGEOUS and when it delayed in the mail (USPS fault, not hers) she stayed in touch with me daily. Even returned the funds as we thought the stone was lost in the mail! But thankfully it came, I returned the funds and have thoroughly enjoyed my purchase!!! Terri is the absolute best!!!

I bought a lovely cats eye emerald from Gem Rock Auctions. I had a lot of questions about this stone, and Terri was very nice about answering them. I was on the fence since it was expensive for me. But it is a near flawless emerald, the jeweler who set it for me was very impressed by the stone and said it was very fairly priced. Thank you

Excellent place to buy gemstones, rough or jewelry. Easy place to bid in auctions or buy out right. Also love his easy it is pay as it connects right to my PayPal account takes just seconds to take care of and I get the payment email right away. I love the variety of the sellers and the stones and rough available, I feel like a kid in a candy store. I will definitely be back.

Only aspect i dont care for is the length of time auction items are listed for...im not a very patient person so I hate waiting 20 days....but that's just me.

I enjoy your site a great deal! One thing that could make it better...pics from both front and back sides. I noticed one site only had pictures of the gem from one side, several angles, but only one side. It was boulder opals, and I did not order due to the fact I did not know how much rock (not opal) I would be dealing with on the flip side.

I have not received my item(s) yet BUT I just purchased this morning. I am so hopeful that I have found the replacement stone for the ring my dear mother gave me years ago. The stone fell out Thursday or Friday. What a terrible blow!!!
