Meh. Not impressed.
Meh, I think I expected more from this. I was happy to see that 23andMe could be used to get results here and thought the price was fair at around $40. It was a fast 24-hour turnaround and I was able to see some of the info on like what my daily intake of sugar, carbs and protein should be and some ideal foods for me to eat. But beyond that, I don't think it is super helpful. I signed up for one of the counseling sessions included with the price and joined the Zoom which started late, then had a ton of issues where the lead dropped off and the 25 attendees or so just started ranting to one another about how they didn't think it was accurate and didn't get much out of it. I dropped off after waiting about 5 minutes to see if the moderator would come back. Probably would not order again. Basically, the food recommended for me were a laundry list of healthy items anyway.

Awesome service! Highly recommend.
I’ve seen some pretty bad reviews circulating on GenoPalate but I’m here to add an honest review on my part. My experience with GenoPalate was great and the information I received, to me, was totally worth the investment. The results are detailed on macros, micronutrients, gene variants and super easy to understand. I was shocked and relieved to have learned that I am gluten sensitive which explains a lot about my current and past health issues. I feel grateful for this information that I know will change the way I feel and that will Improve my health. Some things I feel do need improvement: 1) the speed of results, waiting 3 weeks plus the time of arrival of the dna testing kit and sending back to labs was a drag. In total it was 4 to 5 weeks, a little too long for my taste 2) The optimal food list felt like it was lacking or too few options in the library. Made me think, are some foods missing? 3) it would be awesome to have some walkthrough pre recorded videos on how to navigate everything when landing on the app or browser. Other than that, I highly recommend GenoPalate. Super legit company! As a fitness and nutrition coach I will also be recommending to my clients. Thanks GP! P.S. I wasn’t invited or sponsored to write this review.

The phone app was glitchy but the information is fantastic and SO spot on with my experiences on eating for the last 55 years. I also love the vitamin and mineral recommendations. I missed my genomic problems with Folate and Vitamin A from my own lay research, which explained a lot of my symptoms. It reinforced gluten and lactose intolerance. How wonderful to be able to take two capsules daily instead of a dozen to get all of my vitamin and mineral needs met! I wish I had discovered it sooner to save time (and chronic pain) for so many years. Highly recommend this as one of many tools in the toolbox of personal wellness and actionable goals for improved health.

Didn't learn much
I navigated your site and my results prior to this, so maybe I misunderstood what would be presented. I had hoped there would be more information as to what a one on one with dietician would be like. So far, I am not feeling the results are much good without more information on how to use them and that is going to cost me more money.

I reviewed, observed and researched
I have not tried this product yet but have looked at these reviews to help me decide if this is something for me. Observation so far is that many of the 5 star reviews are marked "Invited" indicates that the business invited the reviewer to write. It also gave me a good reason to do more research on the subject. I found an interesting article in lifescience dot com website. “Why You Probably Shouldn't Waste Your Money on DNA-Based Diets.” You decide but first do your own research first. Trustpilot is a great start.

I love genopalate’s customer service. They were so supportive and quickly acted on a weird technical issue.
I just bought my second package with them and LOVE the information I’m learning.
Thank you Genopalate for being an outstanding personal company.

Was not able to attend as there was no invitation to a conference call or anything of the sort. All I got was a text saying when. I expected some sort of follow up on how to attend. I also want to add that the the foods they said I could eat were strange hard to get foods. They also just spam you trying to get you to buy their supplements. Don’t waste your money or time in this.

found via Quora advertisements...
isn't it convenient that so many of us learned about geno palate through random Quora posts? but they're not so "random", are they. the innocent questions and highly promoted answers are all made by geno palate itself as advertisements.
and it doesn't give what it promises, either. most of what you get is generic advice. the rest is slightly customized and still probably doesn't apply to you.

Not likely to be accurate
I got this as I have a lot of weird health problems not linked into my weight and figured a diet change may be in order. However after getting my optimal vegetables, three of them were peppers. I am so allergic to them that I require an epipen so I'm doubting the authenticity of this. Overall it seems to be about half accurate half fill in the blanks.

Almost hit the button to order this…
Almost hit the button to order this before reading the reviews! I notice that (a). the company gives the exact same feedback to any negative report and (b) without exception every one of the positive reviews were ones that had been "invited". What does that tell you?

Do not bother people
Do not bother people! The “GenoPalate” is a scam. For 1 low price Ancestry will tell you that you should “eat healthy”. They highly recommend fruits & vegetables. Lol! Gee thanks!! You get your results in a few minutes after you pay which should tell you that your DNA wasn’t tested. You pay then you get an email telling you that your DNA prefers you eat healthy. Then they offer a phone consultation to better explain your results but they will only use a platform that isn’t compatible with IPhones without extra downloading. You can’t get a simple phone call or talk to anyone there! It is frustrating and incredibly annoying.

Interesting but not for everyone
I have found it interesting to see what it is my genes might say about my nutrition but must admit I expected to find out much more information than I already knew as far as optimal foods and what's good and bad for me. So if you are looking for an interesting place to begin or a good foundation GenoPalate can be that place but if you are like me and have been honing in your diet for several years and trying new and different things then GenoPalate you might find to be worth the time or money. I'll be able to try a few new foods thanks to my ideal foods list and feel confident that I've already been making good decisions.

I'm very disappointed in the results
I'm very disappointed in the results. Not listed: foods to avoid, a diet plan, behaviors such as snacking. This is not worth even $10.

Not available for non-U.S. residents!
I purchased a nutrition report via uploading my existing AncestryDNA file and was notified I would receive the report in 24 hours. I got an email a day later with the link to my GenoPalate account which I had created when purchasing the report. Would not let me log in, could not access any report. After 4 or 5 days of going back and forth with GenoPalate support, I finally got an automated email notifying me that my order had been cancelled because I am not from the U.S. (I'm in Australia). Would have helped to know that before I wasted time on this.

Genopalate just proved that they do not conduct scientific research.
I discovered Genopalate on a Quora "post" (advertisement) and I thought that the concept was worthwhile to investigate. I never purchase anything without reading reviews and, after immediately noticing the polarized 1-star vs. 5-star reviews here (I have no idea why companies continue to be foolish enough to think that 5-star reviews will trick consumers), I decided to make up my own mind. After reading a review from a customer who complained that Genopalate will not publish their research, I followed the link that Genopalate itself posted in defense, and went to the page that apparently showed their research. It's not research. It's a list of links, and every link goes to a medical journal article published by the National Library of Medicine that Genopalate had nothing to do with. It's just amazing that people who pull stunts like this can actually start a business large enough to generate this much attention. I'm glad I didn't buy into this scheme.

Don't edit your diet based only on DNA estimates
I understand the idea is well intentioned, but I would go as far as to say this data is really quite dangerous. I did a mineral panel alongside this and found that my current levels were not remotely aligned with the GenoPalate advice. If I didn't have this information I'd be consuming more calcium and zinc than my body needs where I see from my panel these levels are currently very high for me - what I really need is to balance the ratios with more magnesium - GenoPalate tells me I need very little magnesium in my diet. There's so many factors affecting how we should eat - environment, life stage, and your current diet for instance. This isn't tailored in the way it appears to be. I'm just relieved I only paid the equivalent of £30 during a sale so have written it off as a low cost mistake.

I bought into this because I already did a DNA test. But then couldnt figure out the download so I lost $$
But there can be 50 positive reviews and 6 bad and I will put my money on the 6 bad being legit

My personal Genopalate
I love having suggestions for foods that will help me personally. Also, I have always told my siblings that i don't seen to get full as others do. That was verified by one of my genes. I was told that I was one of the people that were sensitive to sodium and I do notice that. Very informative!
