I bought a pair of EVA Hatton creepers…I won’t be buying again .

I bought a pair of EVA Hatton creepers which were delivered yesterday . They look good and they are light to wear . The EVA soles are made to be light as stated on the website . If anything they are a bit to light for my liking but I can’t complain about that . To me the corrected leather as advertised is too thin and too light for me . I didn’t know the shoes were made in Portugal but that may be due to me missing this on the website ?
These in my opinion are not bad shoes , they are just NOT good shoes either . Again , my opinion but they are not worth £235 . How they wear and how they last , only time will tell ?
Good points are free delivery and a very good delivery time .
I am keeping these shoes but I am disappointed and won’t be buying again .

Not fit for purpose

Not fit for purpose. Paid £265 for largest sized 12 shoes. I don’t have wide feet but the shoes are made so narrow, it wasn’t possible to even put them on. Because their returns policy is as inflexible as their footwear, it cost me a further £15.00 to return them - Expensive mistake. I would never purchase from George Cox again. Avoid unless your feet are unnaturally narrow.

Excellent shoes

Worn George Cox for decades now. I’ve bought a pair roughly every ten years, so on my third pair, I still wear all three pairs. Cheap they aren’t, but the quality is phenomenal, they last with care. Creepers with the traditional sole are like ice skates in the wet mind! For clarity one pair I wear for work and are as good as new after close to six years of use. My other two pairs are for high days and holidays, and one of those pairs is to avoid the aforementioned slipping when it’s wet.
