When I saw George’s had the lens I was looking for I ordered it and it arrived very quickly. No hidden packing or handling charges like some other retailers. Price was also competitive. Past customer and I’ll be using George’s again

I went to George’s Camera in North Park to ask the photo lab to scan specific old photos that were already affixed to pages with other photos. I could not take the old photos off without risking damage to them. The photo lab staff was able to scan the photos. I’m very pleased with the results….great service from George’s Camera and specifically, the George’s Camera North Park photo lab!!!

I really appreciated the stock availability, good pricing, the prompt delivery to the Chatswood Showroom & easy parking making it so much easier to pick up my items rather than a trip to the city. Great product great service and fast delivery. I can not believe what you can see in the night sky’s, I can see stars and other things that I can’t see with my naked eyes through these binoculars although there is slight shake from having to hold them a tripod for a heavier weight binoculars would be so much better for viewing but hey you can still see so much regardless. Very impressed

Being in the West, fast freight is most important and that's a box that Georges tick.

I ordered various items of camera equipment in late November, a number of which were not in stock. This was made clear to me before I made any payments. Delivery date was mid January and I was concerned that there might be a price reduction at Xmas. The team agreed to give me any price adjustments. I was asked to pay a deposit, not the full amount. All the staff I dealt with both online and in the George Street shop were helpful and honest. Communication was first rate. All items became available in Mid January and I picked them up in the George Street shop. Pricing was very competitive.
I would have no hesitation in buying again from them and they have my highest recommendation.

I needed spare batteries for our small waterproof camera. Found the batteries easily on Georges Cameras website, ordered and received them very quickly. Price was reasonable too.

Went into George's on a whim to take a look at the WANDRD Prvke camera bag. It was on special when I looked on the website on Sunday morning before heading into the store, but hadnt realised that the promotion had ended the day before but the website hadn't been refreshed with the new price yet (it updated a few hours later). However the staff there were good enough to honour the price I saw and I bought the bag pretty much on the spot.

On October 3 I bought a flash unit from a very helpful and nice guy named Ricky at George's Camera Store. I didn't get around to actually using the unit till today, October 20. As I took a 2 hour train ride down to Sydney for a photo project, I read the instruction manual and discovered that the battery indicator did not work per the instructions, so I decided to pop into George's to solve the problem. The first salesman I spoke with, who was dismissive and quite rude, told me devices using AAA batteries don't have indicators. I told him I have a compact camera (Canon Powershot) that runs on AAAs and there is an indicator. He then said the 7-day period was over, but this was a warranty issue and I just wanted credit to buy a different flash unit. He then referred me to the manager, a tall person from whom grim, arrogant un-helpfulness spilled forth like an overflowing sewer. He gave me the same BS line, ignoring my compact camera battery story completely, and added there was a mark on the unit, which I'm still searching for. In the end, there was no satisfaction or logic to be got. I thought I'd found my new camera store; I haven't. Goodbye to George's.
