I called and set up Internet service with frontier, and then the young lady sent me over to the television department which was actually dish network. I asked her and the agent if I will and am talking to dish, they both replied no, you are dealing with frontier, we bundle tv and internet. Omg I'm tired of the lies people. Dish network runs my credit, I am in the top 5%, I get a call at 9:2pm after I initially talked with the young lady whom set up the account for Internet, and the dude told me that I needed to pay 35 dollars because my credit is poor and so I need to pay a deposit. I told him 1. I was sleeping 2. You are not getting a 35 dollar deposit and 3. My credit is not poor. I called back 4 days later and they ran my credit again and this time they needed a 45 dollar deposit and I would have to pay a 99 dollar installation fee. I was blown away with theses crooks. I finally made a post on Facebook on frontiers page. I got a call the next day and the specialist ran and set up my acct. She said she ran my credit and it's comes back as excellent so no deposit, I won't need to pay the installation fee and soon as she gets the go ahead report from install since my house is new that they can service the house. I got a call back from a Trisha (a different specialist ) on sunday telling me that they got the go ahead and she would just need to run credit. I told her hell no!!!!! My credit has been ran 4 times already fron frontier. She asked if I want Internet and I replied yes, I do. Trisha then replied I need to run a credit Check. I told get wait, I already dealt with a very knowledgable agent and so please read the notes. She came back from hold and said well, everything is a go, and the soonest we can get you hooked up would be a 10 days. I told her that 10 days wad not going to work. She told me that I didn't have a choice. I told her that I will seek other means and will contact the other agent which is her boss, she looked again and behold there was a install date that Thursday 4 days away. Trisha gave a wrong acct. Number, she installed the wrong address in the system and wrong cell number. I called today to get a time of install. They told me it would be 8am to 5pm, really 9 fricken hours. Omg. Are they that important to tell a customer that they need to stay put for 9 hours. I told the lady I am frustrated and in a hurry. I told her that installer need to call 30 min. Before install. My day will not sit still for 9 hours for a fricken Internet install. Then the lady wanted to sell me a lap top, tablet or a telephone system and pay three installments interest free. I told her no thanks. She then asked about home security, I said no way, I already have ADT. She then asked if my home was energy efficient, I said yes it's brand new and she continued and tried to sale me the (NEST) which I already have. She acted like she didn't believe me, so she continued on trying to sell it to me. I finally hung up. Frontier, here's the deal, I want my Internet upgraded for free or you can keep it. I'm already fed up and I don't even have your service in my home.
Big savings compared to what cable was costing. Thanks again!
